CHAPTER TWO

'Ma'am! Please come along, you're urgently needed.'

A guy, who seemed like an office staff, came half-running towards her.

'Can't you see I am busy?' She scowled at him.

'Understand ma'am, its urgent.' The guy pleaded.

She rolled her eyes and thought for a moment. Turning her gaze at Swayam, she thought harder as her brows furrowed.

'You take my number Mister. At 5 of the evening sharp, ring me up and tell me your name. Would talk to you then.' She scribbled away something and handed him the paper chit.

With that, she turned on her heels and shoved a dark purple pair of sunglasses onto her eyes. She sighed and nodded to that guy. He hurriedly presented her a file and a pen.

'That can be done during the journey, you moron!'

She semi-yelled at him, after which, he spoke no more.

They both briskly walked upto a limo, parked quite away from the cafe.

To say she left him stunned - would be an understatement. His mind had gone blank and he had died at the very moment she'd asked him to give her a minute of his. The rest had just been him enacting the role of Swayam Shekhawat - whom she wished to converse with. And this continued till the evening.

He walked back home with the same state of mind and it never changed ever since. And all he had done the entire day was to occasionally look up at the clock and then back at the paper slip she wrote her number on.

At 4.55, he sighed and began typing the no. into his mobile phone. Hey, he was no jerk! Its just that he was no more the actual Swayam Shekhawat - he was merely enacting his part!

Trin-Trin

No gulps, no sweat, no hitched breaths - no nervousness, whatsoever! He was pretty much composed, as the call was answered.

'Sharon Raiprakash. Who's this?'

And as if attacked by a hammer on his head, something within him was awakened.
