here me back with an OS..this is dedicated to Kajal who requested for an OS on the current track. Since i couldnt squeeze everything in an OS i made it a Two Shot. thanks for the idea and inspiration Shini..hope you and Kajal and everyone likes it. 😛
Swayam turned the page of his novel, but his thoughts were completely somewhere else. He was worried for Sharon, a lot. She had not been herself for the past few days. He didn't blame her. Anyone else torn between her family and friends would be in a bad state. In fact he was proud of how his Sharon was handling herself.
TRING! TRING!
The ring broke his thoughts and he picked up the phone smiling.
"Thousand years to you Sharon. I was just thinking about you."
"Where are you Swayam?" asked Sharon. Her voice didn't sound quite right.
"Where are you Sharon? Is everything all right?" Swayam asked her, deeply concerned.
"I am at your society gate Swayam. Could you please come down?"
"What?!" exclaimed Swayam, jumping off the bed. "Yeah I am coming Sharon. Just a sec. and don't start honking!" Swayam added jovially hoping it would cheer her up a bit.
Swayam rushed towards the gate to find a preoccupied Sharon pacing around. Before he could say anything Sharon jumped onto him hugging him tight. Taken aback, Swayam hugged her back and asked "hey...what's the matter Sharon?"
No reply but Swayam felt Sharon's grip tighten.
"Sharon..." started Swayam soothing her "what happened? Did your mom say something?"
Sharon pulled away and nodded looking into Swayam's eyes.
"What did she say? Did you both fight again?"
Sharon looked at the concern in Swayam's eyes and choked up. "She...She said...she said that my house-"Sharon stopped. She couldn't say anything more. Swayam looked at her expectantly waiting for her to continue. But Sharon couldn't. She wanted to tell Swayam but the words wouldn't come up her mouth.
"She said...if I don't come home on time I'll have to go hungry"
Swayam stood still for a while looking at her. He chuckled internally. Sharon didn't really think this would work with him did she? Something was definitely troubling her, something major, he could see that. He wished Sharon would share with him but he didn't want to force her.
"Sharon" he chuckled "so what's wrong in that, she is right isn't she? She would want you to come home on time and talk to her..."
Sharon looked up surprised. Did Swayam really buy her reason? If it were any other day she would have felt hurt that Swayam couldn't understand her but today she felt glad, glad that she didn't have to refuse telling Swayam on his face.
Swayam looked at Sharon and he felt a tug at his heart seeing her so disturbed. "Listen Sharon" he said cupping her face. Sharon looked into his warm eyes that emoted his love and concern for her "whatever your mom does, it's for you Sharon. She wants you to be happy. Try looking at things from her point of view and maybe you will agree with her. I agree I am not happy with the way things have turn out but Sharon...remember that I am always with you. Whatever happens" Swayam said looking deep into Sharon's eyes and pulled her into a hug again.
Sharon held onto him and whispered "I love you Swayam. I love you."
"I love you too Sharon and always will."

Sharon sat on her window sill as her mother's and Swayam's voice echoed in her brain.
"We are under a 60 crore debt Sharon"
"It's up to you now Sharon. I won't force you"
"Try looking at things from your mom's point of view Sharon and maybe you will agree with her"
Sharon held her head in her palms, a few tears escaping her eyes. How much could she handle? She never thought she would be so disturbed one day. The fact that she had leave her friends, most importantly Swayam had hit her hard. If that was not enough this bankruptcy news. Why didn't her mom tell her earlier? Why now when she was already vulnerable?
Sharon's head shot up all of a sudden with a determined look on her face. She wiped her tears and took a deep breath. She had to control herself. She had to handle this situation. She was Sharon Rai Prakash. Problems never stopped her and this one was no exception. Yes it was going to be hard for her to follow her decision to support her mom but it wasn't impossible. And Swayam was there to support her. She wished she had told him everything maybe she would have felt better. Sharon lied on the bed and pulled herself together. Tomorrow marked the beginning of a war. A war with herself.

Swayam was really tensed. He knew something was troubling Sharon. Her teary eyes, fidgety behaviour and above all the avoiding of eye contact terrified him. He couldn't see his Sharon like this. But he couldn't bring himself up to ask her what the matter was. She wasn't in the right state to answer. The images of her being disturbed flash past his eyes. He couldn't take it anymore. He had to talk to her, he had to make her feel better. He decided to meet her in college tomorrow He had to bring her out of this disturbed state, for her, for him, for THEM.
i know its short but thats all i could gather. I would probably update by Monday the last part..so do drop in your likes and comments.
