Hello fellow TaaReyians,
I have 2 grievances with the CVs of D3 right now. Let me get straight to the point:
Grievance 1: Mishandling of TaaRey - Amar and Vrinda as Rey and Taani share beautiful onscreen chemistry which breathes life into even the most shortest or mediocre of scenes. TaaRey can be sweet and sexy, adorable and electrifying - all at the same time! But clearly this is not good enough for the writers. That is evident from the fact that they continue to sideline them - giving us fans crumbs which hardly please the appetite. Looks like they are disinterested in our jodi, if not then where's the vision for these two? Why are their scenes either incredibly short or just not there at all? Rey and Taani are a team, they're a unit. We need some progrssion on that front. As a fan I refuse to be fobbed off with random moments that come and go - you blink...you miss. Their journey together has suddenly come to a halt. And I'm not buying the Nach baliye excuse. If that was the case, we wouldn't have scenes with Amar and the gang either but we're getting that. I genuinely feel the writers are not properly utilising the magic of TaaRey. They are hellbent on using them as fillers.
Grievance 2: Non existent Taani: Taani isn't a one dimensional character. She has many shades to her personality but clearly the CVs are over looking this. Taani has now become the ghost of D3, she comes and she goes...that's about it. She's hardly around for the significant moments related to the gang and she's not been shown as having a life of her own - which she DOES have. Taani isn't a dancing diva - blah blah blah I get it. But is dance the only requirement in order to be a part of the gang? Superficial and cosmetic thinking, much? I have always maintained that Vrinda is one of strongest performers in terms of acting on D3. The CVs need to recognise this and use it to the show's advantage. She has shown her versatality while showcasing the various feelings felt by her character. She can stand up and deliver - if only the CVs showed a bit of faith in her.
I've logged into the forum after a couple of weeks simply to register my annoyance. And maybe, just MAYBE I shall return if the CVs make some important changes. One less fan won't bother the makers of the show, one less member won't disturb the balance of this forum. But being a hardcore TaaRey and Taani fan, I say I've had enough. I shall return when CVs pull up their socks.
There - straight to the point. Now throw tomatoes at me 😆 but this will be my last post for quite some time so wanted to say what I had to say. I know my post may not go down too well with some but this is merely my take, so kindly take it with a pinch of salt.
Zinnia.
