You are a very good writer and you describe every small detail in an engrossing manner. What I really loved about this OS is the fact that you just did one scene and elaborated on that. Simple yet very beautiful! :)

Parts that I loved:

1) The way the story starts in such an abrupt manner. :)
2) Rey predicting that she would ask about his wrist and she does. :p This was just adorable! :D
3) When Rey fights for Taani just because he feels something is not right. Love a possessive Rey xD
4) I laughed really hard when Taani wasn't letting Rey speak :p She snapped right back at Rey :D
5) Rey finally apologizing for his behaviour. :D
6) When Rey said, "Taani wants to break up with you." That was twist and if it was true it would have been something different then the usual Rey finding out the truth. :)
7) The hud and the almost kiss had me running in my street like a retard. :p Very well written :D
8) Rey asking her to make him stop was sexy :p It showed how much affect she had on him. <3
9) So close yet so far. :( It got so intense when they were inches apart but stupid Swayam had to ruin it. :p

Can't wait for the next part and you should write more often :D

Pyar Toh hona hi tha….

She wiped her face as she walked….she felt weak but held herself….a sudden adrenaline made her do so…she kept walking amongst all of them….not bothering about who came in front of her….she simply pushed them aside as she made her way….she was hurt….she felt bad….but she kept moving ahead….

The day wasn't supposed to unfold as it had….

This morning they were both very excited to meet each other….she had decided to tell him about Shivam and her….while he too was ready to confess his feelings to her…

She entered her class and everyone began staring at her…she couldn't understand what was happening…but she surely wasn't getting a positive feeling about it…

She walked towards her seat when a guy spoke….

"Ye chotein shaharon se ayi hui ladkiyan waise lagti toh sidhi sadhi hain….par hoti hain badi chalu"

Taani could sense the comment was directed towards her….but she wasn't sure…her confusion was cleared when someone else passed a comment directly on her…

"Ya right…ab apni AGS ko hi dekh lo…chote shaher ki bholi bhali ladki….waise toh kehti hain ki Shivam uska boyfriend hain…par gul khila rahi hain Rey ke saath"

Taani was shocked hearing that statement….she looked back addressing that person….

Taani: Ye kya keh rahe ho aap?

"Acha…anjaan banane ki koshish kar rahi ho…thik hain tumhara confusion hum door kar dete hain….hmm…isse toh pehchanti ho na tum? (she showed her a picture on her phone) babes…ye tum hi ho na? ….Rey ke saath…(everyone started laughing)

Taani couldn't believe what she saw…the picture was her and Rey's….but that wasn't it….it showed them in a rather compromising position….his face was right against her…and the angle with which the picture was taken…it showed them kissing each other…She recognized the picture but someone had smartly used it to show something that wasn't actually present….

"Yaar tum toh badi pahuchi hui nikli…ek taraf Shivam…ek taraf Rey….kya baat hain…waise ek compliment doon….kaafi hot scene hain"

They started laughing again….

She was unable to reason things out…. She couldn't understand what to do….

" Aur ab toh kaafi famous bhi ho jaogi tum…kyunki ye photo…saare college ne dekh li hain"

Her world seemed to have shaken around her as she heard it…With teary eyes she left running….she didn't know where to go…what to do…she felt humiliated….she couldn't understand why such things were happening….why was someone doing this to her…why…was all she wanted to know…and why was all she didn't know….she wanted to run away…somewhere where no one will ever be able to find her…somewhere where she was alone….somewhere on her own….

Swayam, Sharon, Rey….everyone tried calling her…but she wasn't answering…

Swayam: Taani…please pick up the phone…please Taani….(giving up) she is not answering…pata nahi kaha hogi…

Sharon: Main…main usse text karti hoon….

Swayam: Text bhi kiya yaar maine…woh reply nahi kar rahi hain…kya karu main…

Sharon: Swayam…its ok…uh…ek kaam karte hain hum usse dhoondte hain…

Rey: You are right…dhoondte hain usse…everywhere possible….main classrooms se start karta hoon….tum log canteen main dekho….Vicky…Neha….everyone….lets just lets just find her…

Agreeing, they all left…

Rey was tensed…he was considering himself solely responsible for whatever was happening….He continuously kept calling her…texting….but she wasn't replying….

He checked all the classrooms…the library…the rehearsal hall….the fire exit…everywhere but couldn't find her …

They all searched her…but she was nowhere ….

Disturbed he entered into the rehearsal hall…it was dark…he closed his eyes as he thought about her….he just prayed she was alright…prayed to find her soon….he took out his cell as he tried calling her again…hoping she would answer this time….but yet again there wasn't any answer…as he was about to put down his phone …. he saw some light near the corner….he followed it…

And there she was…sitting in the corner….she had wrapped her legs close to her chest…dug her face in it…her phone kept flashing besides her….but she didn't realize….

He quickly texted everyone about finding her….as he sat in front of her…she was quiet ….

Gently he called her out…

Rey: Taani…

Hearing him she drew her legs closer to her body…she didn't answer….her face still down…

He called her out again….

Rey: Taani…its me…I am here….

She was still quiet….

Rey: Taani fikar mat karo…main aa gaya hoon na…I will handle everything….You don't worry …eveything will be fine…koi kuch nahi kahega tumhe….main kisiko kuch kehne nahi doonga…trust me…

There was no answer yet again….she remained unmoved….

Rey: Bharosa raakho mujhpar…main sab thik kar doonga ….

As he said so…he got his hand forward but stopped right before touching her shoulder….he was reluctant…he felt after all that had happened she might not like him touching her…he felt whatever was happening was only because of him…he was the reason for her pain….thinking so he withdrew his hands….

He was about to call her out again…but before he could do so….she pulled her head up and hugged him…the silence was suddenly broken as she began crying….the empty room echoed her voice…and she began shaking vigorously between weeps….

He could feel his heart tearing seeing her cry like that….he didn't even realize when his hands embraced her tightly trying to pacify her…she dug her face into his chest as she cried her heart out….and all he did was pull her closer…trying to make her feel safe…feel protected…

He couldn't understand why she had to go through so much…why she had to endure so much pain…but he realized the answer was right in front of him…the answer was he himself….he was the reason for her pain…he was the reason for her humiliation…he was the reason for everything….

He cursed himself inwardly as he began rubbing her back trying to calm her down…

It seemed she had a lot to let out…as she couldn't stop crying….he made sure she emptied all her pain….he wanted her to let go off all her sorrows and empty them within him….

Few minutes passed and her tears seemed to have dried out…. she was left with no more energy to cry…part of his shirt had almost soaked as he could feel the wetness against his chest…it hurt him seeing her like that but he held himself….

He took a deep breath before he spoke…

Rey: Taani….tumhe darne ki koi jaroorat nahi hain…main sab thik kar doonga…aur woh bhi hamesha ke liye….

He had still embraced her….his voice came low…but she could still hear him….he paused and then spoke further….

Rey: Main abhi jaaki sabse keh deta hoon ki woh photo jhooti hain…kisine morph ki hain….aur hum saath main nahi aur na hi kabhi honge….

Hearing him say so she was hurt….she had always dreamt being with him…she had always loved him….but now she could feel she was losing him and that too…forever…..

Rey: Aur iske baad Taani main kabhi tumhare…tumhare raaste nahi aunga….aur…

He was speaking further…but his words weren't audible to her anymore….or rather she didn't want to hear anything further….she was lost in her thoughts…. trying to put things back at place….trying to make something work….

He was still speaking …when he suddenly stopped mid sentence as she broke the hug…she looked at him….and for the first time he could see her face….she looked drained….her face extremely pale….her eyes sore…it seemed someone had sucked joy out of her….hurtfully he spoke….

Rey: Taani I am sorry…I am really very sorry….mujhe baas ek mauka do sab thik karne ka….main sabko keh doonga ki tumne kuch galat nahi kiya hain aur hum kabhi saath main nahi the aur (his words felt heavy as they came out) na hi honge…

He wasn't looking at her as he spoke the last few words…but she was looking at him all the way…looking at her price charming…at her Rey…

She took a deep breath…. wiped her face…adjusted her hair…. grabbed his hand and got on her feet….He couldn't understand what she was doing….and until he could….he was on his feet as well….following her as she dragged him out of there….

She knew everyone was looking at them…..but she simply didn't care….she stormed through the hallway holding his hand….and he kept following her….he looked around as everyone showed mixed emotions…some looked shocked….some smiled…some were laughing…some grinning….but she cared least….he saw Swayam looking at them surprised….he turned back looking at him…he was following them just like everyone else….

They both entered the lobby….she walked right till the end and then turned around…. they weren't alone….almost everyone was present there….she was hoping so…in fact she wanted so….

There was a buzz around….she looked at everyone ….caring least about what they were thinking…but her eyes stopped at Swayam…he had a surprised look on his face….she gave him a slight smile before addressing him….

Taani: Bhai…trust me (hopeful)

His surprised look changed to being relaxed now….She was waiting for his answer….and he nodded in assurance returning a slight smile back….she relaxed a bit… looked back at Rey…she was still holding his hand…she pulled him forward making him stand just besides her….the buzz grew louder… but they all went quiet as soon as she uttered the first word….

Taani: Rey aur main saath hain aur agar kisiko iss baat se koi problem hain….toh woh apni problem ko apne paas hi rakhe….kyunki ye humari personal life hain aur hum apni personal life main jo chahe kar sakte hain….

The crowd had gone quiet…Shivam was present there as well…but he too didn't speak….

Taani: Ek baat aur…jis kisine bhi humhari photo ko yun use kiya hain…main jaanti hoon woh yahi hain…main aapse wadaa karti hoon….aapko main itni asaani se nahi chodungi…. Ulti ginti karna shuru kar dijiye….kyunki woh din door nahi hain jis din sabke saamne main aapko thapad marungi…

She didn't bother to speak anything else or answer anymore questions….still holding his hand she began walking out…while she was leaving she heard someone comment….

"Lo naye jamane ke naye laila majnu"

Rey decided to give it back to him….but before that she went up to him… looking straight into his eyes she spoke…

Taani: Laila aur majnu nahi….Rey aur Taani…

The guy was stunned hearing her answer and so was everyone else including Rey….He wondered where that was coming from…

She dragged him along with her out of there….looking at them leave together Swayam couldn't believe his eyes….

Swayam: (to himself) Taani…aur…Rey (surprised)

Everyone was silent for a moment after she was done speaking….they were surprised to hear the truth….

Bharat: Toh iska matlab hain ki tum…Shivam ke saath hone ka sirf natak kar rahi thi?

Taani: Haan…

Neha: Tum aur Shivam not girlfriend boyfriend?

Taani: Nahi…

Simmi: So all this time you were just acting?

Taani: Haan…

Swayam: Par kyu?

Taani: Kyunki main nahi chahti thi ki main Rey ke liye aur problems create karu…

Swayam: Par atleast mujhe toh bata sakti thi na Taani…

Taani: Sorry bhai…main aapko aur stress nahi dena chahti thi…

Swayam: What stress Taani…

Sharon: (interrupting him) Okay Swayam relax…jo hua so hua…now it's all cleared na…so just let it go….

Swayam: Sharon tum jaanti ho na Shivam kaisa ladka…agar isse kuch…

Rey: Exactly….(Rey who had been quiet throughout….finally spoke) Dimaag kharab ho gaya tha kya tumhara? Jaroorat kya thi mahan banane ki? (his voice louder than usual made her jerk a little)

Taani: Par main toh sirf….

Rey: Help karna chahti thi…I know Taani…(he took a step towards her…and she stepped back)

Sharon: Rey…stop shouting at her...tum usse dara rahe ho…

He realized he had been too intimidating and backed off a little…

Swayam: Ya Rey …please relax…

Vicky: Rey dude …aaram se yaar…

Rey: Par Swayam yaar isko jaroorat kya thi…ye sab karne ki…

Swayam: Woh toh hain Taani..tumhe…ye sab…

He looked at both of them and suddenly realization seemed to have hit him….

Swayam: Wait a minute…Rey… iss sab main ek cheez toh reh hi gayi….

Rey: Kya?

Swayam: Tum aur Taani

Rey: Main aur Taani?

Swayam: Haan…tum dono saath ho?

Suddenly the atmosphere changed….and everyone focused their attention on Taani and Rey…who were as it is standing together in the centre….

Rey: Uh…woh actually….Swayam main… woh actually…

Swayam: Actually…actually kya kar rahe ho? tum saath ho ya nahi?

Rey: Nahi…matlab haan…I mean saath hain nahi….I mean hain par….

Taani: Haan hum saath hain...

He looked at her with mouth was wide open as he was still searching for words when she answered….

Swayam: Mooh band kar aur idhar dekh…ye kabse chal raha hain?

Rey: Kabse…kabse kya baat raha hain…kabse nahi…um…ye toh…

Swayam: Ye toh kya?

Rey: Swayam I am sorry yaar…

Swayam was trying hard not to smile and so was everyone else….Only after Sharon broke into laughter did he realize that Swayam was just fooling around….and then they all both broke into laughter….

Taani was surprised to see them laugh….she had actually thought that Swayam was mad at Rey….she was worried that she had caused a rift between two friends…but seeing them laugh she relaxed….

Taani: Toh bhai…aap gussa nahi ho?(eyebrows raised)

Swayam: Main kyu gussa karunga…?

Taani: Matlab app sach main gussa nahi hain…(her expressions the same…but just a bit louder)

Swayam: nahi Taani….

Taani: Bhai sachi? (this time she was smiling widely)

Swayam: Haan baba…I am not angry….

Taani: Pakka na?

Swayam: Pakka…

Realizing that he wasn't mad….she got too excited…Her excitement seemed to overflow as she began jumping suddenly….

All of them were surprised by her sudden gesture…it wasn't new to them….but it had been long since she did it…and before they all could realize what was happening….she tipped and was down on the floor….

Everyone immediately got forward to help her….but it was Rey who bend down to help her first…

Rey: Are you okay?

She nodded….He put his hand forward to help her get up and smiling she held it…

Taani: (trying to get up)Bhai gussa nahi hain…

Rey : Suna maine….

She got on her feet…but in the wrong way…her ankle twisted and she fell down again….this time harder….

Taani: Ouch….

Rey: Taani aaram se yaar….lagi toh nahi?

Taani: Nahi…

Swayam: Taani are you okay?

Taani: Yes..I am fine…

She got up…but to everybody'd surprise…. she fell down again….

This time around nobody bothered asking her if she was alright….they acted as if it was routine…no one asked…but she answered….

Taani: Ab lagta hain ki mere pair main moch ayi hain (she had made the cutest face ever as she looked at everyone)

Rey found it very difficult to not smile….but he somehow controlled by covering his mouth….

Opening the door …he helped her in….

Swayam: Tum bhi na Taani….dhyan se kuda karo yaar…dekho ab mocha aa gayi na…

Taani: Woh main kuch jyada hi excited ho gayi thi…

Swayam: Haan woh dikha mujhe…

He looked at her…and she looked down…shyly…

He helped her to her bed and she sat down…

Swayam: Now just relax….aaram karo...main ghar par hi hoon…kuch chaiye ho toh bol dena…

Taani: Ji bhai….

He turned around to leave when she called him….

Taani: Bhai…Thank you…

Swayam: Your welcome…(smiling he left)

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath…she was indeed tired….the past hours passed through her mind… and she herself couldn't believe what had happened….but she avoided thinking of it again….she was glad everything ended well though the course hadn't been too great…she was glad everything was sorted….

Her mind and body had indeed worn out….as she dozed off in just a couple of minutes….

Gently she opened her eyes….and as if her dream wish had been granted….he was right in front of her….sitting there simply looking at her….

She smiled looking at his face….he smiled back….and that's when she realized she wasn't dreaming….he was actually present…startled she got up….

Taani: Aap yaha kaise aa gaye? (pretty loud)

Rey: Sshh….chila kyu rahi ho? dheere bolo...

Taani: (whispering)Aap andar kaise aye?

Rey: Itna bhi dheere nahi Taani….

Taani: Mere sawaal ka jawaab dijiye…

Rey: Woh main khidki se andar aya….

Taani: Khidki se…par kyu?

Rey: Woh toh mujhe bhi nahi pata…bas maan kiya khidki se aa jao ...toh aa gaya…kaafi romantic si feeling ayi….khidki se ana and all you know…

He looked around in her room….and they suddenly became aware of each other's presence…. a certain awkwardness creped in…

He folded his hands and began looking around….they were both quiet…

Taani: Uh…aap paani lenge?

Rey: No thanks...Tum?

Taani: nahi…

Rey:Uh… Tumhara pair kaisa hain ab?

Taani: Thik hain…

Rey: Kaafi jor se giri thi na tum..

Taani: haan thoda sa…

Rey: Kaise?

Taani: Hmm?

Rey: Giri kaise thi?

Taani: Woh main kud rahi thi aur…gir gayi…

Rey: Oh yes (pretending that he had forgotton)aur uh kud kyu rahi thi? (looking at his nails)

She realized what he was trying to do and decided to play around….

Taani: India world cup jit gaya na isliye…

Rey: Oh…yes main toh bhul hi gaya…India…wordcup…what a match?

Taani: Bilkul..(smiling)

Rey: Room kaafi acha rakha hain tumne...

Taani: Thank you…

Rey: Okay then...main chalta hoon..

Taani: Thik hain…

Rey: Mujhe world cup ke baare main puchna tha aur maine puch liya…then..uh..bye (hoping she would make him stop)

She did not…disappointed he turned around to leave….but his feet grounded as her words fell on his ears….

Taani: Rey…I love you…

Surprised he turned around to look back at her….she was looking straight at him…

Taani: I love you (repeating purposely this time by looking straight at him) Aur mujhe lagta hain ki…shayad aap bhi mujhse pyar karte hain…(she flicked her eyebrows looking at him) hain na?

He looked down chuckling….feeling strangely shy…he wasn't expecting it…but it came to him as a pleasant surprise….

He looked down at his feet for a few minutes…thinking something and then slowly he began taking steps towards her….he approached the bed…and knelt down right in front of her….

Gently he held her hand….looking into her eyes as he spoke…

Rey: Pata hain Taani aaj subah se main tumse kuch kehna chahta tha… aur maine decide kar liya tha ki main aaj kehkar hi rahunga… par jo kuch bhi aaj hua uske baad…things changed…they really changed…

I thought I was in love with you Taani…but strangely that isn't the case anymore… Taani I don't think I just love you…but I am crazily in love with you…

He was piercing her eyes as he said so….but she didn't look down and instead looked back at him with the same intensity….

She was the same girl who had confessed her feelings to him once and he had been too rude….but today he felt his life was attached to her…he wanted to be with her…forever….

Rey: Taani…main tumse bahut pyar karta hoon…bahut…

Dil…sambhalja jara…phir mohabat karne chala hain tu….

Dil…yahi ruk ja jara…phir mohabat karne chala hain tu….

Rey: Mujhe dar lagta tha phir pyar karne se…kahi phir dil na toot jaye…par aaj aisa lag raha hain ki agar tum mera dil bhi toda….toh bhi main usse khushi se apna lunga….Taani: Aur main aapka dil usi din todungi….jis din aap mujhe apni zindagi se chale jaane ke liye kahenge…

Jab jab tere paas main aya…Ik sukoon mila…

Jise main tha bhulta aya…wo wajood mila….

Dil…sambhalja jara…phir mohabat karne chala hain tu….

Dil…yahi ruk ja jara…phir mohabat karne chala hain tu….

Their eyes locked into each other….his gaze dropped down at her lips and he looked back into her eyes…she noticed his movement and inadverantly wet her lower lip….

His heart raced noticing her gesture and he gently leaned forward….his gaze switching between her eyes and her lips… an unknown force drew her towards him and she bent down….

His attention now locked at her lips…he placed both his hands besides her on the bed and paused for a moment… his breathing had become heavy….he tried calming himself down….but before he could do so …he felt her soft lips crushed against his….

Instinctively he placed his hands against her waist responding back….her soft lips felt smooth against his…what started off as a gentle kiss soon grew passionate….she drew him closer as she dug her fingers into his hair….reacting he got up on his feet and pushed her against the bed….her back hit the end of the bed…she flinched but only to pull him closer….he tightened his grip around her waist as their lips moved in unison….he kissed her deeper and more intensely and she responded equally…

A few more seconds and he realized she was almost out of breath… reluctantly he broke the kiss….His hands though were still on her waist and her rested on his shoulders…their eyes still closed… their breathing rhythmic….his warm breath was hitting her skin…

Few moments passed and she opened her eyes…he was staring at her intensely….she looked down shying away…

Rey: (huskily) Your first kiss…

She looked back at him blankly….she hadn't yet recovered from their passionate encounter….but he mistook it for something else….

Rey: I mean your first kiss with me…

He looked away after saying so…he couldn't even bear the thought of her being with someone else…he knew he was being selfish…but he couldn't help his jealousy….

Placing her palm against his cheek…she turned him to make him look at her ….

Taani: Rey…It was my first kiss….

He looked back at her …. placed a small peck on her lips….and put his arms around her….

Rey: I love you Taani….

Resting her head against his shoulders she spoke….

Taani: I love you too Rey…..
