CHAPTER 2

Everyone was gathered in the canteen. The new friendship between the weaklings and the dazzlers was slowly getting stronger. They all sat together at one table and were engaged in small talk. Sharon sat there lost in her own world every few seconds her gaze would travel to him and then she would think what took her so long to fall for him? She tried very hard to concentrate on the topic they were discussing but her mind was wandering somewhere else and every time he would laugh she could not control the look at his handsome face. Once again Vicky said something funny and they all broke into laughter but Sharon didn't even hear him properly, her thoughts were once again captivated by the smile that formed on his lips. She was careful not to look at him for too long and make a fool of herself but this time she forget where she was and seeing him smile a soft smile also formed on her lips. That's when he looked at her because he was himself caught in the same dilemma. Her eyes widen in fear when he caught her starring at him and she quickly looked down biting her lower lip in anxiousness. A silent blush also made its way upon her cheeks. His breath caught his throat when saw her biting her lower lip and blushing like small child who was caught eating too much candy. She could feel his gaze upon her and her heart racing wildly. She slowly looked up and found him starring at her and then it was not in her control to look away. She became captive of his eyes and he didn't want to let her go free so soon. He smiled at her and she smiled back at him once again it was not in her control, her body was functioning itself making herself helpless in front of him. She looked away when simmi tugged at her arm asking her something which she was least bothered right now. She excused herself saying she just remembered to do something and flee away from the canteen, away from him so that she won't go insane.

Rey entered the rehearsal hall and saw sitting there lost in her own world and a soft smile on her lips. He came and sat in front of her asking "so this was your important work han?" Sharon was caught off guard and she fumbled for words saying "umm..woh…I…just…I" rey "relax Sharon…we all need a break" rey gave her a knowing smile and she smiled back. Then he continued "so why you so quiet today?" Sharon "nothing…guess I don't have much to talk about" rey "oh…so my best friend has nothing to talk about? This should be a miracle" Sharon smiled and shook her head while he once again said "you sure there is nothing you wanna talk about?" Sharon shook her in negative and said "no I just wanted to spend some time alone" rey smiled at her and replied "okay….but you know who to come to when you wanna talk about it" Sharon looked at him surprised and asked "talk about what?" rey winked at her and said while standing up "nothing" he was about to leave when she said "well rey can I ask you a question?" rey looked at her and said "of course dear…ask whatever you want!" Sharon hesitated but asked him upon his urging "u and kria …u guys love each other right?" rey "yes" Sharon "what is it like…like to be in…in" rey completed her sentence for her and said "in LOVE?" Sharon nodded and he smiled at her knowing that it's right time to make her realize her love from swayam. He started "to be in love is a beautiful feeling…magical…honestly there are no words to describe it…when you are with the person you love the most you feel so safe like nothing can harm you now" Sharon remembered how he stood up for her when she came into the boy's locker room. "When you are with him you want the time to stop and the moment to never end" she remembered how she felt exactly like that whenever she looked in his eyes. "You want to be with him all the time" she remembered no mattered how much she tried to hate him, her heart always wanted him to be around her. "You want to give him all the happiness in the world…when he is happy you are happy, when he us sad you are sad" she remembered how she felt his pain when she rejected him and how his smile today in the canteen made her smile. "You trust him like you trust no one else" she remembered how her searched for him in thousands of people because she trusted him only him to help her pass through her miseries. Rey saw the dreamy look on her face and came and sat beside her still continuing "you feel so much attraction towards him…your world starts to revolve around him only and you cherish the small moments spent with him. You want him to be there for you in your happiness and your sorrow. You can't think of anything else except him and sometimes like in my case you even start hallucinating." Sharon closed her eyes as she remembered last night and rey smiled continuing "but moreover you him like you never loved anyone else and like no one can ever love him…you are ready to stop breathing if that pleases him" rey grabbed her hand and said "you love him" he said it as matter of fact there was no doubt now.

She opened her eyes and slowly nodded as her eyes filled with tears. They flowed down her cheeks as she said "yes I love him rey…But" rey became confused and asked "but what Sharon?" Sharon "I don't know how to face him…after what happened in the fire escape..I…" she started crying and rey said "Sharon…what happened was past don't let it ruin your present..He loves you too" Sharon "how do you know that? Yes he liked me…but what did I do to him?...I rejected him on his face and more over I hurt him so much rey…I always insulted him and treated him like a nobody….i don't why I rejected him rey? I didn't want to…I don't know what happened to me?...I…and trying to ignore him I hurt him even more. I tried everything I could to push him away and in doing so ended up hurting his feelings. I don't even know if he still loves me?...gosh I called him a bloody cheap stalker….and I said that his gifts are so…cheap…but they weren't I loved them all of them and I still have them…" she started sobbing badly and rey hugged her silently consoling her and then when she calmed down a bit she said "yes you did all that Sharon because at that time he was a nobody to you…but he was there for you because he loved you. He made you fall for him that's what is called strength of love. Trust me Sharon no one can love you like him." Sharon "but what if he does not love me now…I mean it is understandable after what I did to him" rey "shhh…sharon stop saying that….I can see it in his eyes that he still loves you…if he didn't he would have left you long ago. But he stayed and won your heart that's the proof of his love Sharon. He loves you. He still loves you" Sharon looked at him with her big, innocent, moist eyes and asked "he still loves me?" rey nodded and said "yes he does Sharon…and how are you" Sharon "who…who am I?" rey "tich tich…you are Sharon…and the Sharon I know is not used to losing…she gets what she wants so are you the Sharon I know" Sharon stood up enthusiastically and said "yes I am the Sharon you…and I get what I want" rey "so you gonna tell swayam" Sharon "yes I am gonna tell him" she said now in full-on Sharon mode. Rey "okay so what are we waiting for?" Sharon "nothing" rey "go and get him girl" Sharon nodded and ran outside but came back after a minute and hugged rey tightly saying "thank you so much rey…u know I love you" rey replied while hugging her back "yes I know Sharon" she then ran outside like a solider going on a war.

Rey shook his head and turned around only to find swayam standing leaning against the window. his eyes filled unshed tears and relief written all upon his face. Rey looked at him; he looked at rey and passed him a big smile.
