Girl, firstly,i LOVE the way you expressed your views-you MUST posts more.:)
Much needed post,i'd say-there's always too much of negativity where Sharon is concerned.People tend to jump to the quickest, and often, wrong conclusions where Sharon is concerned, mainly because she's not flawless like the typical Indian heroine is stereotyped to be.
Regarding Sharon breaking down in her car after shivam kissed her after the party-there were LOADS of people who passed comments, saying they couldn't understand WHY Sharon was crying-she hadn't been raped or anything.
It takes a LOT more than that to understand a character like Sharon, firstly.
She broke down, she cried, because she had LET a guy she barely knew, approach her that way.Sharon had always conducted herself with dignity-people had admired her from afar, but approaching her, trying to kiss her was something she had never allowed anyone to do-for someone like that, realizing that she had actually allowed a guy to do that can be very disturbing, especially because sharon already feels strongly for Swayam.
Though they aren't together yet,her entire world revolved around him-she feels beautiful because he finds her so,she feels blessed because he finds her to have the most beautiful heart, she loves the fact that he loves her, ever so selflessly.Subconciously, she's dedicated her whole life to him too, which is why the guilt of having wronged him stings her.
I love sharon, for the very reason that she is NOT impeccable. She has planty of flaws, just like any of us,and i wish people would just try to understand that before coming to conclusions.
