Just got done watching tonight's episode and there were all those nuances again, that I just had to come and talk about.
To get the credit out of the way first - the title comes from Swayam's super awesome The Sound of Music tee today 😍 I know, really, was I checking out his funky tee-logs when the guy was sweating out his pain in the rehearsal hall?! Oh well.
Anyway, onto the nuances. Nandini's already said it all about the dance sequence as such, and how the song fit the SwaRon track atm, so I wont go there.
I want to add that the Rey-Swayam conversation that followed was like a perfect role reversal from weeks ago, when Rey was into this whole Kriya is transparent to my vision act! Except, sadly the CVs did not have Rey living up to Swayam's precedent at least tonight. The precap shows Swayam's joining the gang, so maybe Rey will spin some trick - but if he doesn't, and if it's all Swayam coming around by himself, I have to say I'll be disappointed cause I'm one big softie for their bromance on this show.
But the most interesting part of the episode to me was the Shivam-Sharon conversation. While Shivam the perpetual jerk face that he is was every bit his annoying self, I thought it was very interesting how all of his apology lines (fake though they were on his part) translated to flitting emotions on Sharon's face. It was interesting how so much of what he was babbling actually translated to the ton of guilt her own heart was feeling for how she had wronged Swayam - and as hearing him verbalize the whole guilt tape was showing on her face. It was interesting that even though the words were coming from Shivam, and Sharon was hearing him out, her mind was all over the mess she had made. That as Shivam listed out his own offenses, and confessed he'd never intended, Sharon was only thinking of herself in Shivam's place, and Swayam in her own! And interesting also was how easily she forgave him. Like it didn't matter. Because really, did it? Forgiving him wasn't the hard part at all, when forgiving her own self felt so impossible! Contrary to what that jerk face imagines, Sharon could hardly care less about holding a grudge against him, or forgiving him - who's he anyway?! It's she. It's her action. It's her mistake. However unintended, it's her betrayal which is cutting her up! And to confirm all that, she finishes off with "galti sirf tumari nahin, meri bhi hai..." which really, if Shivam had known him half as much as Swayam does, would have told him the true story. Luckily for us, and SwaRon, Shivam is far more a dimwit, than he's a jerkface.
Anyway - Sneha was fantastic in that scene. She didn't have so much dialogue, it was all Shivam talking, yet her emoting to each line was like watching her make all those confessions and apologies to Swayam somewhere inside her head. Brilliant stuff continues 👏
And lest I forget to say, for someone who looks as bony as Shantanu, he dances like he's all fiber, no bones! Such power of depiction his dancing stint was today! 👏 His heart in flames set the floor on fire!
Okay, apologies for the late response, but I read your post and needed to rush, and could NOT bring myself to leave you a rushed reply. Brilliantly written, first of all, as always! 😃
And you've described the Shivam-Sharon conversation so beautifully, you hardly leave me any scope for additions. I completely and totally agree with you. The call was, for Sharon, about herself. Her own folly, and her own keenly felt guilt. Hearing him articulate it just drove the sting deeper. And I'm thinking her reflexes invariably lead her into denial mode, which is what I see happening more than ever in the precap in the car. She's still trying to bury away her feelings, now threatening worse than before to spill over onto the surface...and like you said so accurately, Shivam is worth nothing to her. Forgiveness is not easy or difficult, it's simply irrelevant, just like the jerkface is.Originally posted by: candybar

Heya candy (? - sorry going to be a while before I figure the names around here)Yeh, erm, my phone posts have an infamous history, which is a story you wont care about... 🤓 Let's say my patience on the phone is directly proportional to my impatience to rant/gush when I'm brimming with stuff to say 😆Glad you think so much of the topic though. Rafi started me off on this forum with her post the other day. If SwaRon continue to be the intrigue they are for now, you'll see me stalking/lurking around =)

Beg to differ 😊 . I fail to see how a one-way thing can be termed a relationship, let alone friendship/bromance. Swayam apni jalaake Rey ka bhala kar raha hotaa hai humesha .. never saw that sort of genuine and sincere initiative on Rey's part 🤢
