Okay, apologies for the late response, but I read your post and needed to rush, and could NOT bring myself to leave you a rushed reply. Brilliantly written, first of all, as always! 😃

And you've described the Shivam-Sharon conversation so beautifully, you hardly leave me any scope for additions. I completely and totally agree with you. The call was, for Sharon, about herself. Her own folly, and her own keenly felt guilt. Hearing him articulate it just drove the sting deeper. And I'm thinking her reflexes invariably lead her into denial mode, which is what I see happening more than ever in the precap in the car. She's still trying to bury away her feelings, now threatening worse than before to spill over onto the surface...and like you said so accurately, Shivam is worth nothing to her. Forgiveness is not easy or difficult, it's simply irrelevant, just like the jerkface is.
As for Shantanu...oh, he shone tonight in that dance piece, didn't he? And when I say shone, I mean particularly as SWAYAM, which is possibly the biggest compliment one can give to Shantanu as an actor at tis point. SO good. 👏
And Sneha...brilliantly nuanced, as always...WOW. I loved how you put this: She didn't have so much dialogue, it was all Shivam talking, yet her emoting to each line was like watching her make all those confessions and apologies to Swayam somewhere inside her head. 👏
So yes, like you said, some more brilliance coming of tonight's episode. Here's hoping there's still more in store for us in those to come. Touchwood.

Word to bits in green Nandini - I'm all up in anticipation about where this is going from here for SwaRon - I really cross my heart hope the jungle sequences will not be anything cliche, like please please please! I know I should trust the writers who've held steady so far, but my faith in Indian TV, and that a teen show, is kinda dodgy in general. For now, Sharon in denial, Swayam in recoil, and Shivam the catalyst - is a track with potential if well scraped.

ps: no apologizing please! we all have a life outside of here, or don't we?! 😆

Amazing topic .. Awesome title .. Very nicely written and the above lines are perfect for Swayam a.k.a ShanTANNU.. I loved every bit of his dance .. He is outstanding and as far as that conversation was concerned, i also loved the fact that even though Sharon had very less to say but she was awesome at her expressions, she actually portrayed what she felt like !
Sneha kapoor is brilliant .. :)

Yes, TanHa carry off the weight of their characters like second skin. No debates there. 😃 Glad you like the post =)

'infamous history' huh???😃 would love to hear about it someday...😊
as for ur statement about SwaRon-----u bet they're gonna get more n more intriguing and more n more fascinating from now on😳😍
so i suggest u prepare urself to stalk/lurk around...just like me...😃

Sharadhi it is 😊 And the story is mundane. I met with an accident during the finale week of the airing of a show I was hooked onto, and with bed rest and no internet restrictions, I had but my phone to rescue. Shocked myself at least mildly by still managing to gush with my lengthy posts - and hence discovered my latent extent of 'dedication to subjective cause' 😆

Just got home from a super long day at school and checked out the episode before I commence on the super long assignments.

anyhow, first off coming to the dance sequence first--- I hadn't heard this song before I heard it in that scrap book scene...it sounded like a good song but somehow couldn't see the point of it back in that scene. Somehow, it seemed more apt in this situation than earlier because back then, Swayam didn't have to control his feelings when now he is actively trying to suppress his feelings. Back then, all Sharon had to do was give a cold stare at him/ her feelings towards him, while now it doesn't seem to bring back her "control" no matter how hard she tries. There's such a difference between the two moments that somehow seem like eras now. Despite the current state of Swayam's mind, it still seems to be a positive growth when you look at how far along Sharon's come. She is acknowledging and even accepting her mistake even if that wasn't really a mistake as she was never officially involved or committed to Swayam in any way whatsoever! Well, she might continue verbally denying that he doesn't matter to her or that she doesn't feel anything other than "hate" for him, but then what about the guilt that she's feeling? How would she reason that? Guilty for what? She doesn't have to answer to anyone, or does she? Possibly herself more than him. She's denying herself...denying Swayam comes way after that. She's got to acknowledge herself first...come to terms with her feelings before she can even remotely come to accept him.

@shivam--- Word on what you said. His words weren't even audible to her let alone matter to her. It would be better if the writers stick to this character being that way instead of involving him more as it would be too stereotypical and these two (Swayam-Sharon) don't require any of that damsel-in-distress sort of twist and turns.

@Precap-- hmm i wonder too how he comes around for that...let it be Rey working his tricks.

So... going back to completing ...ahem ahem.. assignments until tomorrow.😳

P.S. Forgot to mention stuff about the actual dance! 😆 ...As always enjoyed watching the performance...this guy truly performs along with his dance!👏 It is about time we get to see Sneha perform if not both of them together for now.😳

^^ Ramy - Agree with the positive growth in Sharon as far as Swayam goes. Although, let's not forget she has always projected serious split personality disorder threats! Remember when they were locked in the basement stair case and she actually admitted she was out of line and mean with Swayam at times?! Swayam wasn't the only one who had to later hunt out for his jaw that had dropped and rolled away somewhere in reaction! 😆 And then only moments later she'd become this epitome of living in denial to all his candid rhetoric to hurt him, and have him retreat in a way he'd never done before! So if anyone is capable of taking one step forward and four back - we know Sharon's a master of the knack!

But for now, just in this moment - yes, her guilt is obviously progress from the days of start, when she'd publicly slapped him on stage in front of an entire college without a fiber of regret! Yes, she has come a long way from then, and she has only Swayam to credit for it - as and when she will chose to admit... sigh!

@ Shivam - oh the damsel in distress gives me horrible thoughts, not that cliche please! I swear Shivam's angle has a ton of potential, like any third wheel as Nandini called him - I wish, and desperately wish the CVs explore it wisely...

Rafi - I realized I mixed up two posts, te he!... it was Amrita's post where I posted my long essay, and your VM thread next ... Oh well - same difference! 😳

So if anyone is capable of taking one step forward and four back - we know Sharon's a master of the knack! True that! She does seem to have mastered that dance form in the events following that confrontation.

But for now, just in this moment - yes, her guilt is obviously progress from the days of start, when she'd publicly slapped him on stage in front of an entire college without a fiber of regret! Earlier he seemed to intimidate her more than anything else whereas now he seems to affect her along with everything else. And there's a big difference between the two.
I agree with you on crediting Swayam part. He's played a humungous part in bringing such a change in her...bringing out herself in her.
@Admitting --- it's still long way ahead but she's getting there gradually.

@ Shivam - oh the damsel in distress gives me horrible thoughts, not that cliche please! I swear Shivam's angle has a ton of potential, like any third wheel as Nandini called him - I wish, and desperately wish the CVs explore it wisely... Tell me about that! I cringe at the very mention of "damsel in distress" and given that Swayam-Sharon story doesn't even require such an angle to "boost" the storyline or something, I really hope the writers have something better planned than the usual.

Rafi - I realized I mixed up two posts, te he!... it was Amrita's post where I posted my long essay, and your VM thread next ... Oh well - same difference! 😳

WORD Ramy 👏

@ red - oh the day she finds out... the dorky sidekick bringing out the best in the college diva - a side of herself she never knew, and never would have with Rey, Shivam or any variation of 'her kind' of cool dudes!

^^ oh hooo! no one let's me go offline! Rafi Rafi Rafi! Sidekick, when you look through the glossy shades of Sharon the icy diva queen of start of the show times. Remember those days?! He was the weakling sidekick being unduly favoured by Rey in Sharon's opinion back in the day! And it didn't help her even then, to realize that the 'offending nobody sidekick' made her think out things that she would rather not bother herself with!

The bother continues to grow inside her of course... a fully grown monster by now! Can you imagine her back in that time even remotely believing the 'nobody' guy could compel her to feel as guilty and frustrated as she's feeling now? Sp sidekick, in that Sharon-assumed sense I meant!
