some people say she was fiction in movie to add bollywood spice. but i know she was one of his wives there are names of others which they didnt show in movie as kareena love story would get sidelined😆 they were shown made for each other.

i liked movie but that love track was fictional. it is possible since we have no reference what ashoka did in his 2 year exile

k lets end it we won team Durgupta😆 just kidding. dont feel bad by my comments i only comment facts thats all and forgive if i have hurt any of you just trying to correct you that internet is good for info but not always correct

we r not hurt but i m sure dhurdhara wasnot D's daughter bcoz we'd read it in the TEXTBOOK For Gradun Classes which is approved by historians & educn deptt. of Indian Govt. 4 students. so thats more reliable than the sources u r refering. bcoz many historians say sumthing else & sum oders say sumthing difft. and the argument which got more acceptance bcums the reliable source until sum new evidence cums in forefront. so u can't say that dhurdhara was D's daughter bcoz Text books r made 4 studenst 2 give them true knowledge & not like telling difft versions. even though they include difft. versions but only the version which got more acceptance got authencitated.

and the historians u named've only written history books 4 difft versions & its not recommended 4 students!!
but its ur wish that if u don't want 2 acknowledge the Indian Educn Deptt. approved version!!😊

the next fact topic is😉

1)Princess Kaurwaki is not fictional character i know what they portrayed was total fiction acc to you. But I tell you in some parts of India Kaurwaki is idolised because she lead a war against Magadh when Ashoka attacked kalinga. she got women and men to fight against Magadh.

2) Kaurwaki did marry Ashoka but no love story like shown in movie. Kaurwaki was daugther of fishermen but unlike movie Ashoka was so mesmerised by her beauty that he forcefully abducted her and got married to her. Ashoka went on 2 year exile and not much is known so its possible that he met kaurwaki during that period anything can happen 2 years is long time. Unlike movie he cant have got married to her. She converted to Buddhism and became Ashoka's 1st wife. She was immortalised in the Queen Edict which was one of the minory rock edicts erected by Ashoka. The edict identifies her as the second queen of Ashoka and mother to Tivala. Legend also tells of a daughter born to Ashoka who died not long after birth named Jo-sanne, born after Tivala (the origin of her name is unknown but said by some to be given by a Kalingan priest who had envisioned her birth and name). She is still venerated in parts of the Kalinga district as an immortal princess- protector of her father's throne.[1] I found this on wikipedia but its sourced and many internet sites claim that Ashoka met kaurwaki during his 2 year exile although that contradicts my theory.

Ashoka before attacking kalinga also said he had old relationship with that state i read it somewhere need to get reference but surely i will post it

I have heard this from some indians and they say then been there.

so you guys bring out your sources and prove she is not real person. Acc to me she was and some texts also say that. How true well all up to you go on then start to prove me wrong

@arushi i can't give that bcoz i don't know if they r available on the net or not! but i"ll try 2 do sumsearch on this topic on the net & even on net i'd read abt dhurdhara not being the D's daughter & was princess of Kaushambi & CGM fell in luv wid her at 1st sight & she also helped him in his empire!!
@bhaiyyaji quoting 3 historians having dift & not so agreed versions by Indian Historians approval doesn't mean winning. we r sure of our facts till now & if i came 2 know any such historians claim which is approved by all then we"ll acknowledge ur claim!!😊
and i m giving one e.g abt CGM's origin . sum historians say like sum Puranic scriptures CGM was of shudra origin & even blood of Nandas while buddhist & jain works & sum authors like Justin opined that he was kashytriya origin but lowered down 2 humble status of a peacock trainers. so here they've agreed on which appear 2 b logical & rational & acknoledged by most of the historians That CGM was of Kshatriya origin!!😊😊

and abt Ashoka and kauruwaki. shes not a fictional ckt!!and i agree that she prepared men & women both 2 fight against Ashoka & the drama i read in my text book during school(NCERT books) refered her as a princess of Kalinga!!

2) Kaurwaki did marry Ashoka but no love story like shown in movie. Kaurwaki was daugther of fishermen but unlike movie Ashoka was so mesmerised by her beauty that he forcefully abducted her and got married to her. Kauruwaki did marry Ashoka but luvstory i don't know abt it!!but she was not 1st wife of him. Ashoka during his viceroyality of Ujjaini fell in fell wid the daughter of a merchant of Vidisha. she is referred 2 as "Devi" or "Vedisa Mahadevi" whom he married.
Ashoka's oder well known queens were "Karuwaki" & "ASaudhimitra".the 2nd queen "Kauruwaki" is mentioned in the "Queen's edict" inscribed on aspillar at Allahabad.the text of the inscription is as follows-

"Whatever gift has been made here by my 2nd queen,be it a mango grove,or a garden or a alms house, or anything else,it should be specifically registered in the name of my 2nd queen "Charuvaka" who is the mother of "Tiwara".

and this part i'd copied down from the text book of history gradun studenst & 4 UPSC exams preprns!!
so son's name was Tiwara & not Tiwala!!

Ashoka before attacking kalinga also said he had old relationship with that s tate i read it somewhere need to get reference but surely i will post it

I have heard this from some indians and they say then been there.

so you guys bring out your sources and prove she is not real person. Acc to me she was and some texts also say that. How true well all up to you go on then start to prove me wrong

K tiny i dont mean that but give names of 4 textbooks you have read and their author and you win debate. what you are saying i have read on net too but it wasnt sources that all. otherwise how can i agree so easily she is princess of kasumbhi

anyways khushi hgave 3 references which say same thing now give 4 books names okay take your time koi jaldi nahin and till then reply on my other facts. k give names of 4 authors or textbooks then u are sikander. as they say jo jeeta wohi sikander right now its me but i am not underestimating u u can win debate am not historical student so u have better chance😆. teekh hain once you do that we will all have to agree then wid you.
