Exercise - 1

Here is a small exercise based on first 2 parts on Peihu's suggestion...

Again i've even included hindi translation for u to make it easy..

Translate it to Marathi.. Fill in da gaps..

1. E - I am your friend (male)

H - Mein tumhara mitra hun.

M : ---- ---- mitra ahe ?

2. E - His name is Rushi

H - Uska naam Rushi hai.

M : ---- naav ----- ----- ?

3. E - I am your sister.

H - mein tumhari behan hun.

M : ---- ---- bahiN ahe ?

4. E - She is pretty

H - woh sundar hai

M : ---- sundar ----

5. E - Don't tell her

H - Usko mat kehna

M: ---- nako sangu

6. E - I like you

H - mujhe tum pasand ho

M: ---- ---- aavadto

Translation of some words used here

Name - naav

Sister - BahiN

pretty - sundar

Don't tell - nako sangu

like / pasand ho - aavdto

Examples -

1. E - Who are you?

M - Tu koN aahe/ aahes?

2. E - Who is that?

H- woh kaun hai?

M - To koN ahe? (if da person who are pointing to is male)

Ti koN ahe? (if da person who are pointing to is female)
