( Nandini a beautiful girl came to Hotel Empire Maurya with an appointment order.CEO of the hotel allotted her the job of cleaning the toilets and bathrooms.She as a double graduate wanted to correct this anomaly and went to meet the chairman , Chandra Patel...ON seeing him)
Nandini did not stop ,but managed to fetch her shoulder bag and ran towards the entrance. She was completely disoriented. Luckily Ram was on duty..he saw the dishevelled Nandini running towards the main gate. Some guests were arriving and he was also regulating the traffic
Intercom inside his shed buzzed; he answered the call and saw Nandini near the gate .Immediately he got hold of her
In the course of 3 days, he had developed a fondness for her, and was also witnessing her troubles under Mallika
"Nandini, where are you going? Any thing happened"
" No Ram kaka..plz allow me to go outside"
" How can you.Beti..as a watchman I have strict orders not to allow you to go out side the campus"
At once Nandini came to her senses and felt defeated. Her present condition and her father's impending jail sentence struck her like a hammer..
Slowly she retreated to the hotel and started her work again
In the evening, Mallika welcomed Nandini to her office with fire works
"How dare you go to chairman's room without my permission..do you think that your charm will entice him"
"You got promotion within 4 days of time .He has changed your work order .here after the 10 rooms in the third floor come under your charge. You have to house keep the rooms. The details you ask Malthi. Now you can go"
On the way, the cleric Vishnu called her
He said " you can occupy the corner room in the second floor. You can collect the uniform from the store room"
He also handed her a key.
With numbness she took the keys..Rani ran to her and exclaimed
Didn't I say Chairmna is a good person..you don't mind Mallika's bullying. Come ..I will clean your room."
The room..no.. a cubicle of 6' by 8' was in the left corner of the second floor, besides the steps to third floor .It had a cot like bench and a small cupboard and nothing else
As the care taker of 10 rooms ,she was provided with 3 sets of beautiful uniform sarees.
Malathi was a darling girl, taught her the art of tucking the beds. Her duty includes..the supervision on cleanliness of rooms, filling the fridge with fruits and other requirements(no hot drinks will be loaded), and setting the flower vase. As an artistic person by nature, she welcomed the type of work provided to her.
Compulsorily she shut out the memories of Chandra..yes..the memories of Chandra Patel ,the chairman of the Empire Maurya
She lied down on the bench. She was so tired due to the emotional and physical work of the day and went to a deep sleep. When she woke up in the morning, saw herself lying on the ground, covered by a heavy rug..she would have rolled down due to insufficient space..but the costly woollen rug..
She steadied herself and in no time was ready for the morning work. When she came out of the room,
Rani exclaimed
" Oh Nandini,you look so beautiful in that saree..anybody seeing you will fall for you"
Nandini chided her and went to third floor..Alas.. her first assignment was in the suite..the very suite occupied by the chairman.
She tried to tap the door,but when she placed her palm, it opened automatically. With the renewed courage, she entered the room. There seemed to be nobody in the rooms, but finally saw a figure lying on the floor with out any pillow.She could see that it is none other than Chandra,she can recognize him even from the silhouette.With out making any noise, slowly put a pillow under his head and started towards the entrance
"Where is he"
Involuntarily Nandini turned towards him and saw two blood shot eyes staring at her
She asked " who"
"Your husband I mean..has he ditched you as you have done to me"
" sir, I will come after some time to set right your room...plz excuse me"
" Nandini, you didn't answer my question"
But she was gone.With trembling hands, she completed her allotted work
The cleric Vishnu called her.
"The chairman asks you to bring his morning breakfast"
"me..."
"yes you"
".. that is not my allotted work.."
"..here you cannot speak of rules..Do as I instructed"
She collected the breakfast from the kitchen, put them in a trolly and once again entered into his room
To her surprise, he was in crisp, clean and well fitted clothing with a clean shaven face ; a pair of high quality modern shoes; a hair cut flattering and up to date; a fine cologne
She lost her composure and stammered "... sir shall I leave"
" who will serve me"
While eating,he saw her under his eyes; she was intensely looking at a l scenery on the wall
"Nandini, how do I look"
Her heart quipped a little..but she started collecting the utensils...
" you have developed the habit of not answering your boss..ok.."
He came very to her and looked at her(she can hear his breathing air) and said
"you look the same; same midriff and the same bust,the same beauty,the same curls"
" sir you have no right to describe another man's wife and an employee of yours like this"
" ah..another man's wife.. my foot..you cheat..you are a snake..get out of my room"
With that she pushed her away and suddenly left the room, loudly banging the doors

Nandini nonchalantly completed the house keeping task of the suite..while doing so, saw an upside down framed photo and with thumping heart took it and saw two lovely smiling faces
Chandra & nandini..two beautiful love birds of yester years.She clearly remembered her first encounter with him four years back. She was in her third year of her degree course
Nandini had worn short hair..her hair was cut straight around the head at about jaw-level,. It was a very popular hairstyle at that time and often her curls falling at the front , disturbed the male students of the college.She was wearing a simple Pakistani salwar suit design with parallel cut .Not so costly but stylish and elegant .
She was coming out of the college. Suddenly a car screeched before her and a young man, none other than Chandra Patel got down from the car.GPS tracking system was not yet popular then
He enquired
" Excuse me madam, can you give the directions for Hotel Rajput Heights"
Dutifully, she explained the directions and after thanking her profusely, he drove away
After two days, the same car stopped before her, and he asked for the directions for Hotel Ellysee
She got confused and said " sorry sir."
Next day at 5 o clock, she was window shopping a beautiful black salwar suit with a straight cut kameez in a designer shop, heard a voice and turned back
The same lanky attractive man enquired
" plz give the direction for Hotel Shafran leaf"
He was direct, forceful and unafraid to speak.
She immediately burst out
" what do you think of me..daily asking for the hotels directions..do you think..i am going to each hotel one after another..I feel you you are upto some mischief..I am calling the police now, for eve teasing"
"Miss wait wait..you need not waste a call, an ACP of this circle is with me..you can lodge your complain with him"
" Jagan..plz come out"
Another man though not as handsome as Chandra, but with a quite good looking came out of the car
" Miss Nandini don't mistake him..he wants to talk to you..that is all"
" How do you know my name? You from the police department..oh my God I cannot believe this atrocity on women...Plz get away"
With that she walked to her house fastly. Her father was waiting for her in the front room of their modest house
"why are you so late..Nandini"
" papa..it is six semester..I have to do some project work. So collecting the material for that "
She knew that she had many followers in her college..but she cared and responded to none
She felt quite restless
Next day her principal caller her in her office.Her principal was talking to a young man
" Chandra ,after the meeting,you should stay for a small party"
nandini said " Good afternoon madam."
She saw him sitting there smugly and having animated conversation with her principal
She was horrified to see him there, but contained her self.
The principal to Chandra
"She is Nandini..chairman of our college union"
To nandini
".he is Chandra..my nephew..he is an MBA in hotel management and is going to give lecture on " entrepreneurship.Take him to the auditorium"
With fluttering heart , led him to the hall(did not know how he reached therel)
His speech was precise ,curt and the spontaneous flow of language was excellent.
The student enjoyed his speech or him?Many went extremely grazy on his macho physique... Yes..He would be any girls hero
On his departure he extended his hand and said
" Thank you Miss nandini"
She slightly touched his and suddenly a 1000 watts current passed thru her
Every thing had gone out of her hands. She was hazy. restless and anxious;
And suddenly she wanted to cry her heart out.; she was with complete hidden turmoil
she was completely swept off by him. At first it seemed that she was not bothered at all.
She did not realize that she had fallen for him? Is it love?..
Is it due to his smartness; bcoz he is affluent; a man of high status..she asked herself
Again and again, Chandra standing stylishly in front of his car came to her mind's view.
On the following Monday morning, after a complete sleepless night, she was waiting for her college bus. A voice suddenly shook her up..he was standing in front of her with the same smirky smile
" Hi Nandini"
" Hi"
" I am not here to ask for any direction..just saw you..wanted to say hello"
Suddenly her knees go weak..She began to feel how wonderful and angel-like he was.
Two pearl like tears fell down from her eyes
"hei what happened? Did I do anything to offend you..sorry yaar..if you don't like I leave now"
"Oh not like that..I am little bit upset"
" Oh sorry..see there is a coffee house..let us relax a little bit there"
With out uttering a word, with out thinking over anything..her college, college bus or friends..she walked with him to the coffee house
In the coffee house they seated themselves opposite to each other.
Slowly, he touched her hands on the table.As an electric shock, she pulled over her hands and asked"
" why are you doing this to me"
"hei what did I do".
He intensely looked at her and slowly started to speak
" the same question I can ask you..what did you do to me..for fast one week i am like a lunatic and a jumbo...can't sleep, can't eat..many a time want to come to your house to see you"
" Really"
She relaxed a little bit and suddenly he asked
" will you marry me"
A charming blush crept over her
"yes"
He smiled and said
"you don't hnow who I am..I may be a serial killer; a psychopath; a married man with two grown up children; a corn man; a man with a sexual disease"
She continued " a terrorist; a smuggler; drug trafficking dada and. so on ".
Both laughed.
She said" I have my own intuition..i won't go wrong"
"So you give green signal"
"yes"
After that their world changed completely; Only these two exist in the whole world;
They are just in unadulterated fantasy. She got for a broadband net connection for her " project work.
As a strict boss of the companies, the office saw his smiling face and he seemed to be mellowed
Categorically, she refused any gift from him, except a cell phone which being prepaid constantly for Rs 3000 per month by Chandra
Occasionally Jagan joined them in their meetings, but did no stay for long. Her sixth term came to an end and after completion of her exams, he put a request to her
"Let us go to Nanintal for one or two days.I have to go to states for an important assignment and after coming there, we get married..i will speak with my family"
She had mixed feelings..but in the end her love for him gained prominence.. .To her father a college farewell party in Nainital..her father gave her send off. Inwardly she trembled ,but she had already fallen for his irresistible charm
Nandini looked breathtaking in traditional sari whilst Chandra just handsome in a plain pant and shirt..
In Nainital,they had a very luxurious suite and a very good sight seeing and finally reached their suite. With unfathomable expectations, they opened the door.It invited them with soft candles, flowers thru out the suite and a melodious music
He knelt down before her and asked
" will you marry me"
She dreamily and huskily uttered " yes"
A finely crafted diamond ring in platinum was slowly inserted in her finger.
With .passionate kisses., with out saying anything, he carried her to their bed and she didn't remember what happened there after.
In the morning, both kept quiet.
She suddenly came behind him and hugged him tightly
" hei thief..why are you so quiet"
He was speechless and hugged her tightly
" Oh dear, immediately after coming from the states, I will arrange for our marriage"
They returned and he departed to states
AS shown in films, she did not get pregnant and daily was video chatting with him
After three days, before his departure from US, he didn't receive any of her calls and could not contact her, even his friend Jagan knew nothing on her silence
With much apprehension, he returned, his friend Jagan contacted him and dropped a bomb
She had returned her cell phone by saying that she was getting married to a software professional form Singapore, who was earning two lakhs per month and requested not to disturb her any more...Simply vanished from the earth
Chandra could not comprehend anything around him...just closed his eyes

Chapter V
Chandra Patel was silent for an hour;he did not want to have any conversation even with his friend Jagan
"Chandra..don't worry..in cyber crime department, using the modern technology, we can find her whereabouts within 24 hours
"Ah.. in 24 hours..her body with the soul..or mere her..even if she comes before me now..at this moment, I don't want her. The moment she told that she is marrying another man, she is a dead person to me
" Chandra
"Don't worry..I will be alright..I am a pukka business man..I will tackle this "
" let me go to Ramnagar...mother and sister will be waiting for me. See you
When he arrived at his " Mayura Mahal in Ramnagar, his Mother Mounika Devi and his sister Chaya were waiting in the front facade.
Chaya was married to an Industrialist and had a baby of one year old,
After their welcome and kind enquiries, he spent about 10 minutes with his adorable nephew and then retired to his room.
After locking the door, he stood there for about five minutes , but could not contain him self no more, and cried his heart out like a wounded lion . That is all..he wiped out everything from his mind and heart and ready to face the standing truth in front of him.But started to harbour the feeling of venom on Nandini
For a long time his mother was asking him to marry a rich business man's daughter Durga.She was a sweet and lovely girl .He liked her very much..but had no feelings of love towards her and could not find any passion in her
He didn't feel that kind of love with Durga that left him feeling dizzy,exhilarated and wild as with Nandini
That kind of passion for Nandini is extremely powerful. His passionate love for her is different from ordinary romantic love.It is still with him as a long burning fire .It inhibited his logical thinking
When her mother opened the subject, he readily accepted and got married to Durga.He gave all his love to her and they lived as aadhardsh couple of their society and ,then she was nine months pregnant.
Accidently she slipped from the stairs and doctors could save the baby...but not Dhurga.Now Bhavan is one year old.Chaya takes care of her son Shravan and Bhavan
He is a dotting father and whenever finds time, spends as much as possible time wih his son
In a sensual moment, he disclosed all of his love secrets to Durga..but she didn't reply anything..and both lived a life of matured and understanding couple
But in her death bed, she had only one request to Chandra
" Chandra go and find out Nandini
But the fire in him still burning and he didn't take her words seriously
But for her remembrance is constructing an extended wing in the hotel. Leaving the responsibilities of his group of companies in the able hands of his GMs , he is there in Empire Maurya to complete the work of his dream building
After 3 years of his separation with Nandini , and one year of Durga's death ,he was there in Dehradun to have a personal consultation with the architects and interior designers
By chance, he saw her standing in the bus stop.
"Where is her husband? What is she doing here?"
Immediately contacted Jagan and in no time, collected all the facts about her father, her job in the interior designers office..but no body has any clue on her marital, rather non marital status
The next sequence of events happened speedily and now he had brought her in his custody
The fire..the passion..the longing..the sexual desire..everything is intact
He wanted to take the complete revenge on her, to put her into hell, to see her crying , asking for his mercy. He almost turned into a different person..So much passion running thru his veins. He is almost vulnerable
By night his dinner was served in the dining table. When he was on the point completion Mallika in her night dress(before coming into the room, pulled down her front a little for her cleaves to be visible and put the loose hair in two shoulders).
" Hi..Chand..how about today's meeting
Nandini entered to collect the trolly, What he said,he won't in million years
Seeing Nandini, Chandra exclaimed
What Mallika..you look so sexy..hahaha
Nandini was so shocked and virtually ran out of the room leaving the trolly.
" Chandra..Chandra...what happened to you.. a modest and unpretentious gentleman, behaving so indecently using ugly words
Next day..it was weekly off for her. She went in search of Ram.
" Ram kaka..who is this Durga..why a separate wing on her name .Is our chairman married?
Ram explained the three years history of Chandra
" so he is a widower..any body can approach him now..that Mallika's indecent dress..Chandra a fine man..how cruelly he looks
" Ram kaka, can I have any chance to see Bhavan
Still she could not believe the extent of his rude behaviour
" sometimes, the chairman's family comes and stay in the cottages
" Oh
In midst of his sarcastic remarks, she was house keeping the 10 rooms
His rugged and rough appearance, changed into a fine gentlemanly type and inwardly he seemed to be at peace.
When she entered 303 for collecting the laundry, Chandra was conversing with a known face.
Siddarth,the marketing head of BEST-INTERIORS Design Group invited her
" Hi Nandini, here..what are you doing here..it is a surprise..suddenly you left the job
" sorry sir, I am doing house keeping here..we shall meet after my working hours
Chandra remained passive, Nandini could not guess anything from his face
But, for the entire day, she could not move out, as the cleric gave her continuous assignments
The next day, Siddharth met her in the garden.
" why Nandini, I was waiting for you the whole day..my work with the chairman finished off and wanted to leave after meeting you and no body can tell me your location correctly."
" No sir..fate drew me here.
She simply told about the 20 lacks .Immediately Siddarth replied
"Nandini..I can help you..I can easily get a loan of Rs 2o lacks on my house.We can settle the amount..you can leave from this horrible job..you.. a software professional..I cannot imagine..it is much paining
Nandini knew, that Siddhath would take her out of this...but afterwards...she is obliged to marry him..it is highly unthinkable
"It is OK sir..I will manage..you need not worry
Reluctantly Siddharth took leave of her
"Ok Nandini..I am there always for you..in need...give me a ring .
He extended his hands for a farewell shake, she obliged.
She was returning to her room,suddenly Chanda appeared before her from no where
" How dare you..this is a decent hotel..have you started your love games with my guests
" Chandra..what are you talking..he is an old friend of mine and wanted to give me support
" Oh..maharani still remembers my name..your old friend..how many friends you have..how can you touch him..you bitch
" What are you saying..it is my leisure time..I can meet any body I like..I don't need your permission
" It is my campus..I expect decent behaviour from my staff
.With that she pushed her to the grounds and walked away swiftly.
Two pairs of eyes were watching all this drama far from that place

Beautiful update. Just one complaint regarding the length but since you are regular with the updates, short updates bhi chalega no problem.
A jealous chandra is always a treat to watch but he is too possessive to the extent that he cannot even tolerate her mere handshake with someone else. *sigh * where he himself was married another woman and lives in the false thought of Nandhni being already married to someone else but still he cant tolerate the sight. This is so Chandra. Nicely written.Is this revenge one sided? Would like to know Nandini's side as well and I am sure you will be unfolding it in the coming updates.
