Well said. Chandra disappointed me as well. I expected him to say this is the promise of a husband, but no, the promise was from a king that had wronged his subject not from a husband who had deeply wounded his wife to the core.

And while moork Mora insulted Nandini, Chandra not only stood silent but added insult to injury by asking Nandini if the gift had pleased her and was sufficient.

Clearly the man has no inkling of how to be repentant or contrite. Reducing the princess of the land, the queen consort to a mere daasi, humiliating her at every turn, having snatched her every happiness and dignity, and then to have the audacity to call her arrogant, takes all kinds of insolence.

I hope Nandini stands firm and makes Chandra eat crow before she even deigns to forgive him, let alone accept him.

Deigns - Learnt a new word today.
Always a pleasure in learning new things.
Thanks Soapwatcher1.

Remember Vadivelu explaining 3 types of women - Jill, Jung, Juck ?

The reactions of Daadi yesterday when she was asking Moora to thank Nandu... went from Vadivelu's remarks of "Jill, Jung, Juck" ...

Jill - when Moora agreed to thank Nandu
Jung - when Moora postponed the activity to next day morning
Juck - when Moora called it as an act of Daasi to save a Samra

😆

that word..promise of the Chandra Gupta maurya..also irked me

Love and lunacy always go hand in hand..again he has fallen for her..so we need not take his utterances so seriously..for him proven wrong has emotionally relieved him
yes he states that he has come to talk to her ,but her reaction is very hard..let him babble what ever he likes, but internally he is so happy and at peace with in himself..he knows, she will forgive him..poor soul

Lol, Siva, put like that, one can almost forgive him - let him babble - he is at peace. I re-watched the epi and Nandini seems to have garnered fresh courage at Chandra's realization that she is not a murderess. Her boldness with Mora, her nod gesturing Chandra to join her as she was distributing the jewels, her disdain in telling him the gifts were indeed less - loved her through it all.

Watched the promo of Nandini declining to accept Chandra's apology and that was a welcome balm to sore eyes.

I say you are impossible..can any body display their foolishness like this senseless Rajamatha..Cannot she see the his sparkling and overflowing love for Nandini. He just stands their like a zombie, unmindful of his mother's stupid and idiotic actions

Nandini is innocent...that is the greatest gift for him, a roaring lion in front of VK,is now a humble parrot repeating his mother's versions...JJJ
