The Chandra who keeps on telling that he thinks with his brain, couldnt just guess with his brain that it would be easier for those people who plotted to kill durdhara to simply alter the letter that would not only give Nandhni benifit of doubt but also make their existence in danger, because if not Nandhni the sautan word in the letter would definitely point towards Helena.

4. If in place of Chandra if it was Chanakya who would have taken up this case for investigation, then he would have sorted out a better way to reach till the right culprit. No I am not underestimating Chandra's intelligence, but Chandra thinks with both his mind and heart and instead of sorting it out he often fails in the struggle and gives up. But Chanakya only thinks with his brain, and being the crooked brained Apama in the opposition only someone who could catch the tedhapan in the case would reach till the truth.

But why would Chanakya be interested in proving Nandini's innocense, after all he believes that Magadh's goodness lies in Chandni's seperation.

But CC would have to team up once again Chanakya to play the mind game and Chandra should listen to his heart and should reach till the real culprits ; If not for Nandhni then at least for Bindusar, because Magadh's future ( Bindusar) is still in danger.

OK, so Apama is the first person in history who set the precedent of 'handwriting ki nakal utarna', which through generations till now we follow when we copy our parents signature to hide our terrible marks in school test copies😆😆. I am now guilt-free.😆

I would like to disagree with @bold...at the time of durdhara's death CK read the letter (the original one)...and without paying attention to the fact that it said only "sautan" and no "nandini"., he literally was joyed to found yet another evidence against nand putri ...and that was an absolute blunder considering it came from CK...if only he had been a little reasonable at that day.

Thank you aish for both agreeing and disagreeing with me and also for enlightening me, but if that the case then there still lies a little hope, since Chanakya's brain and memory is sharp (it has to be) if ever Chandra happens to discuss how he went through Durdhara 's letter once again and found Nandhni' s name on it, Chanakya would be able to figure out the mismatch and enlighten Chandra about the same (of course not for Nandhni but ) to save Bindusar. At that time he was so pre occupied of the thought to separate Chandni, but this time hope that he does right thing for Bindusar 's sake if he ever gets an opportunity.

Thank you once again Aish, the fact that Chanakya had read the original letter once is giving a thin ray of hope.

wow never thought it that way...yes it might happen...considering chandu loves to discuss nandini with CK😆...Oh! I hope it happens...yes CK is biased towards nandini but he won't negate facts down right...he would definitely disclose about the original letter to chandra----- yes hoping for the best. (*fingers crossed *)
