Amina my dear, I am very tired and am going to bed, but I could not let this pass without clarifying some points. You are not thinking things thru at all, I am afraid.

1) The bagh nakh is made of metal. It need not be poisonous. It is basically used against the soft parts of the body to tear the flesh and penetrate the tissues. As in an attack on the abdomen from the front, which can pull out the intestines. That was what Shivaji Maharaj did to Afzal Khan.

When one stabs a person in the back of the shoulder, as Roopa does with Nand here, the impact will be minimal, as the curved nails will be blocked by the flat bone of the shoulder. They will not hit any vital organ. There will be some bleeding and that would be all.

2) Roopa stabs Nand through his abdomen using a knife that seems to be over 2 feet long. It goes right thru him, at the level of his waistband, and is protruding to a length of 4 inches. Even this need not be fatal if the blade does not, thru sheer luck, touch any vital organ in the abdominal cavity.

3) This last is what must have happened, and Nand is physically very tough. So, he would probably have tightened his kamarbandh to staunch the bleeding and got going.

4) He naturally wants to save Nandini by taking her with him on his horse. But she does not want to go with him and so she effectively squirms and falls off the horse deliberately. She too seems plenty tough; 3 stab wounds and she does not lose consciousness till he has finished his vicious peroration!😆 Again, if no vital point has been touched in her case as well, there will be only flesh wounds that will heal.

In general, sword wounds are cleaner and heal more easily if they are not fatal. A gunshot wound is far worse as the bullet rips the insides of the body apart and causes a lot of damage to both bones and flesh.

How did NAND know that the person who got walled was Nandini and the person roaming around is Roopa only ??

Assuming that the rumour that was spread amongst the Praja that Nandini had been walled, and that info reached NAND. Then Roopa entered the court saying Shanth, main jeevit hoon to calm down the Praja.

How on earth did NAND decipher that the girl who was walled is indeed Nandini, and not Roopa ? He dint speak anything to confirm this, before stabbing her today.

Ok, assuming that Helena and Aparna's man (as per the duo's plan yest) has delivered the news to NAND, how on earth did the ladies know about his whereabouts ? That info was between CK and CGM only.

I guess there is going to be another flashback story for this gap later.

So finally Nandini got to know the full truth today. But it seemed to me to be of no use because the whole thing went haywire. Nandini is going to fall off that cliff and lose her memory. Roopa is going to escape in the melee, Nand is going to escape because of Chandra's grief and sorrow at Nandini's apparent death. Chandra will barely notice the two of them went missing if he sees Nandini falling down the cliff. Anyhow Nand has to recover some really serious wounds again. So he will once again lay low for a while before he comes all guns blazing. Chandra will be devasted for some time. Then he will find Nandini but her whole memory will be lost. He will try to bring back her memory and the drama continues!

Somehow I got those vibes when I saw that scene. They showed Nandini rolling off for a long time. For some odd reason, I felt that she was at the edge of some sort of precipice. For one, Chandra could do a dive and last minute save of Nandini as well and the two evils escape from there in that time gap.

Anyhow if we see the next episode, we will get to know better what theory to exactly form. But having seen many TV shows till date, the memory loss one is very much there until we can rule it out with better possibilities which may emerge after the next episode. Shall I tell you one thing Avantika, the TRPs of this show are not too great but they are not bad either. One more thing I have observed is that irrespective of how good or how bad the actual story track is, the TRPs are very stable.

In such a situation, we really don't know if the intention of CVs will be to take forward the story or just prolong it. If it is the second option, nothing like a memory loss track to eat up episodes without much of a story. Just think how many episodes Chandra will spend mourning for Nandini. Let's say it's 5. Then the hits and misses between Chandra and Nandini before they meet again. That can again take 5 to 10 episodes.

After that, the confrontation between Chandra and Nandini, his realization that she has had a memory loss, another 2 episodes. Finally attempts to bring back memory 10 episodes. So together this amounts to 20 to 25 episodes of eating up screen time without inching the story forward.

You think CVs will let go such a brilliant opportunity? I too am hoping for the best and keeping my fingers crossed.
