I too have had an exactly similar experience and have reversed my order as well. 😒 If possible, and if the food is served on banana leaf, i temporarily try to forget the 'do not waste food' commandment dinned into me since school days and fold it off with the unpalatable stuff unobtrusively at last.

I've been blocking out that commandment since childhood 😆 My grandfather used to tell me that for every grain of rice that is wasted, I would have to be reborn seven times. So when I was a kid, I would try to count the grains of rice that had been wasted, and would multiply the approximate number by seven to figure out how many births I would have to take 😳😆 I gave it up after a while because the math became too difficult 😆😆

You know, my dear Ranjana, that is a very interesting explanation of Chandra 2's abominable behaviour, but there is only one thing not quite watertight in it.

See, even last night, when he is praising Helena for being so understanding, he is on the lookout for Nandini's jealous reaction, and she duly obliges.

Again, if he is convinced that she loves Malayaketu, how can he explain to himself her almost constant way of looking at him with eyes filming over with unshed tears whenever he has been extra obnoxious? Or the little girl lost look with which she regards him as he comes to close the door of the room after she has finished the sej sajana business? He has to be blind not to interpret all that for what it is, a longing for him to care of her and acknowledge that she is important for him.

No, he is just plain dumb, insufferable, and cheap to boot. He actually lets this girl he has married go away from the palace with nowhere to go to, at night, and he can actually argue with himself that he had done the right thing! 😡It is incomprehensible, that an honourable man can do anything like that. I suppose he thinks he is following in the footsteps of Lord Rama in the Uttara Kanda, but then Lord Rama never believed that Sita was guilty of anything.

Then his memory is shorter than Aamir's in Ghajini. It is he who announces that he does not and will never acknowledge Nandini as his wife. Then, in the corridor, he solemnly tells her that she is his wife regardless of how she feels it to be a humiliation! I simply could not comprehend how the chap's mind works.

And what was that about a vivaah viched? He must be suffering from a Jalal hangover and the talaq idea. There was no way, before the Hindu Marriages Act of 1956, that there could be any divorce in a Hindu marriage, just as in the Catholic Church. So much of ill informed nonsense!

To round things off, he suddenly comes up to her and informs her that main tumhein chahta hoon! What does he expect her to do? Grrr...

Well, I am going to stop before I get set on this track! Bye for now, kid, and you take care too! Your culinary adventure had me in splits.

Shyamala Aunty

Hello, aunty! Sorry for not responding sooner. The past week has been crazy and turbulent, and it looks like the dance of madness is just getting warmed up 😆
Oh my goodness, this sounds too warped 😕 My original theory has jumped off a cliff, sobbing its heart out😭 😆 Now I have only one other theory - this is an Ekta Kapoor show :P 😆

The anger is not at them, but at yourself for loving them and making a fool of yourself.

Chandra could really be experiencing all this.

But yet, there is no reason for him to be stupid, no?

Yes, the anger is more at yourself than at the other person. But my theory has already killed itself after reading Shyamala aunty's description of the character's behaviour 😭😆 Your question at the end brought to mind a quote by P G Wodehouse - "At the age of eleven or thereabouts women acquire a poise and an ability to handle difficult situations which a man, if he is lucky, manages to achieve somewhere in the later seventies." 😉😆

Am not having access to my laptop right now, so as much as I wishI cannot post any comments or reply on all of the interesting comments/views/speculations etc here. Oh how my fingers itch...-this is my lamenting now
Aunty i hv watched the chandra-nandini face off of last friday like 8 times. Please end my misery by uploading ur take on them soon.

In the main cahracters - poor souls. Both blinded by their own misunderstandings tht thy simply cannot see the raw feeling surfacing frm each other towards each other.

On the promos...oh my, my head is simply spinning. Drunken Roopa, Diya wali Nandini and Roopa- Nandini meeting...aiyoo, how on earth this script is going to unfold? Its simply mad.

I think its gonna be like the Man in the Iron mask style. They will kidnap Nandini and hide her in the secret room while Roopa will roam free and havoc Maghad.

Just few things
1. Will Avantika be able to find the diference?
2.Where is Chanakya? Id he going to be defeated/fooled by two old croones?
3. The tatoo is missing from his arms. Where did it go?
4.Why did roopa look so upset when Malay sd u shud keep vrat fr ur husband? It is not like she is madly in love with him.
5. Doesnt anyone tell Dhurdara that pregnant women are not suppose to be buzzing around like an energizer bunny on steroids?

Good night folks
