Again, if he is convinced that she loves Malayaketu, how can he explain to himself her almost constant way of looking at him with eyes filming over with unshed tears whenever he has been extra obnoxious? No, he is just plain dumb, insufferable, and cheap to boot. Then his memory is shorter than Aamir's in Ghajini. It is he who announces that he does not and will never acknowledge Nandini as his wife. Then, in the corridor, he solemnly tells her that she is his wife regardless of how she feels it to be a humiliation! I simply could not comprehend how the chap's mind works.

And what was that about a vivaah viched? He must be suffering from a Jalal hangover and the talaq idea. There was no way, before the Hindu Marriages Act of 1956, that there could be any divorce in a Hindu marriage, just as in the Catholic Church. So much of ill informed nonsense!

To round things off, he suddenly comes up to her and informs her that main tumhein chahta hoon! What does he expect her to do? Grrr...
