Aunty i hv watched the chandra-nandini face off of last friday like 8 times. Please end my misery by uploading ur take on them soon.

In the main cahracters - poor souls. Both blinded by their own misunderstandings tht thy simply cannot see the raw feeling surfacing frm each other towards each other.

On the promos...oh my, my head is simply spinning. Drunken Roopa, Diya wali Nandini and Roopa- Nandini meeting...aiyoo, how on earth this script is going to unfold? Its simply mad.

I think its gonna be like the Man in the Iron mask style. They will kidnap Nandini and hide her in the secret room while Roopa will roam free and havoc Maghad.

Just few things
1. Will Avantika be able to find the diference?
2.Where is Chanakya? Id he going to be defeated/fooled by two old croones?
3. The tatoo is missing from his arms. Where did it go?
4.Why did roopa look so upset when Malay sd u shud keep vrat fr ur husband? It is not like she is madly in love with him.
5. Doesnt anyone tell Dhurdara that pregnant women are not suppose to be buzzing around like an energizer bunny on steroids?

Good night folks

I have watched 9 times till now 😆 and still not got over Rajat, the Phenomenon. Eagerly waiting for Akka post. But I know it will come when I will be in office tomorrow in the thick of things and I will steal some moments .

I hate this Roopa Stuff ; Even if they keep it, I want it wrapped so rapidly , may be a week . But it is not going to happen. CVs in EKTA shows love to prolong such tracks. I am so much warmed up to Chandni these days and I want Chandra's pride and brains to be retained in the future.

However did you see how he made a connection to Padmanand's genes and behavior ? And His Kya was altogether at a different level.

In spite of all of the happenings between them, he keeps saying her name very often even in the worst of their arguments . That tells something. Is n't it ?

Anne, both of us are sailing in the same boat. I have seen that catch up on Yupp TV how many times I even forget. Rajat's performance during that episode was the best I have seen out of him in CN. Sweta was also doing a very good, balanced, nuanced and subtle job in this particular scene. But then, it is still not even a patch on the stupendous and fantabulous performance of Rajat. Rajat stole the entire show. He was literally living in that scene. Aunty we really need what your take on this scene is. You make us relive the entire thing with your descriptions.
But then the new promo seems highly distasteful for me. How yucky, tacky, and awful is this entire thing going to get before it is resolved like the Jodha Begum Vishpaan equivalent envisioned by Prem for resolving this entire Nandini-Roopa fiasco? I wouldn't mind Chandra ringing the bells in a Mandir for saving Nandini's life, and having an argument with God in a Hindu temple, or Jain temple, or a Buddhist temple, or wherever it is! I have no problems with any religion. I just want that scene.

Yes. This tendency seems suicidal. But Nandini at this point of time is in her wits end. She lost her entire family and yet finds herself in love with their killer.

She was about to willingly, for her father, accept something worse than death -Malayaketu a man with no morals, no humanism and no respect for her or for any woman, a liar and an opportunist. In Chandra she saw someone inherently good, inspite of his being the destroyer of her family. He had not ill treated the other women of her family and her neither inspite of his haldi incident threats. And he had championed for her education evenwhen her dear Pitamaharaj had decided to give up. Malay's presence further highlights Chandra's basic goodness. This coupled with Avantika's recommendations helped her have hope of happiness when the very man who just stood for her against his guru kept constantly bullying her for no apparent reason, accusing her of infidelity because he has fallen in love with his other wife. When one has just been though such constant highs and lows, with more lows than highs, one just loses composure. When they can bear it no more they end up confessing that they are guilty. Like Jodha did to admit that she did kill give Ruqaiya dature ka ark. They want to face the worst and end it all.

But it seems there are people who are like that. If you have not read it already, do get hold of Agatha Christie's Towards Zero,
(Another AC! 😲 )

which is one of her best, and see the central character in it, who suffers from this very syndrome. There is also a totally unconnected chapter in the beginning about Supdt.Battle's daughter which introduces us to this kink. You are so interested in psychological twists, so you will love it.

As for her confessing her love for Chandra, she cannot bring herself to do it seeing the way he treats her. It is understandable, it would seem to her like the ultimate humiliation. You are however right when you say that this is exactly what he is craving for, it comes thru in one despairing sentence of his. I will go more into this aspect in my next post.
"Kehti ki phir bhi mujhe prem hai aur main aank moondh kar vaishwas kar leta" this line na? And his expression as he spoke this line...ufff! 😳

And yes Sri, loved the intonation of his "kya" as much as his "Nandini" in the earlier scene.

This means that Nandini will, till she is reinstated to take the flak at a point they consider it suitable for their purposes -which will be different of the two plotters, and not clear as yet for Sunanda, though I think she wants Chandra killed - will be effectively shielded from the continuous invective that Chandra heaps on her. She deserves that break, the poor kid!

SBP/Nandini has certainly scored a point here. She truly looks in love and pained more because the accusations are coming from the man she loves. 👏 i don't remember a single shot in JA where i felt sympathy for Jodha except for that rare scene where she weeps before kanhaa in Mathura covering her face. Nor that she was ever in love either.

I cant say if i have actually felt so heavy hearted for real humans as I felt for these two in that one scene.

Twice I felt the intense need to jump into the scene and give them a hug - One where Nandini looks at him with pained eyes and ask why then do you hate me? next when he walks out wiping his tears. OMG...he looked a man who has had his heart shredded and trampled on. And she...was looking like can death come swifter and free me from this hell.

Oh the poor poor darlings. I hope Malay and Sunanda has a painful end 😡

what is there to fight for?

1. He constantly insults her with infidelity
2. He is only short of smooching Helena to spite her, in her presence
3. Helena is walking exhibit on shameless ribaldry

Why would any dignified woman want to fight for a man like Chandra? Especially when he goes as far as asking, how many are there in your life?

The right to thing to ask is And this Nandini is not going to beat the living daylight out of him?

However, as Aunty has put it - her making is so. Therefore, she will not harm him, fight him rather she will rot inside herself feeling horrible and sick about how she is being treated

Sigh.
