You, my dear Shailaja, belong in the studios! What a gorgeously lurid script you have cooked up!
Alas, this marvellously amusing take was ruined in tonight's precap. Chandra marries someone, clearly Durdhara, and her father, the Mukri-clone (that chap was a short, fat comedian in the 1970s and 80s) was very much among the living, standing there and showering flowers on the bride and groom. Helena was also there, doing the same thing, One could not make out whether she was cheesed off about it or not.
The comic part of this was Nandini, in Pataliputra, reporting to Amatya Rakshas (his real name is Katyayan!) that Chandra was getting married once more kuch rajnaitik labh ke liye, and they were very keen to ascertain whom he was marrying and what the political advantage would be. I can see none, unless Chandra planned to run for the post of the village panchayat pradhan!😆
Chandra does not have a single wife who is really well born. One is a barber's daughter, one is a village bumpkin's daughter, so the third, who is at least the daughter of one of Alexander's generals, is the best born of the lot!
I too hope that her equation with Chandra stays intact even after these marriages. I did not like Durdhara yesterday as much as I had in her first appearance. She looked pinch faced and her acting left a lot to be desired.

Aunty, when I saw Durdhara in the previous episode, I was getting these one-sided love for Chandra vibes from her. Moreover, I felt that she was highly prejudiced and judgmental against the Greeks and Helena. Whenever Chandra is going to marry Nandini, I can see her ganging up with her and cheerleading her. Not that Helena is going to be bothered by such cheap stuff. She is a one woman army herself, so a hundred Durdharas or Nandinis ganging up against her will make her no difference. She would be least bothered as long as she continues having the same comradeship and consequence in Chandra's life.
Now I am coming up with a fifth theory for Chandra Durdhara marriage. Durdhara's dad dies due to a damaged liver and dies vomiting blood. Please don't ask me how it is possible to have blood cancer symptoms for a damaged liver. Anything is possible on Telly land. So the essential thing, this bloke got blood cancer as well as a damaged liver due to overload on the stomach for excessive eating and drinking. In the meantime, his feet gave way unable to bear his own body weight and his hands turned numb from excessive use for the purpose of eating, actually eating away the brain, and resulting in brain stoppage and instantaneous death.
As result of all these mighty calamities, Durdhara became orphaned. Chandra is her only remaining relative and friend. But he cannot keep her with him for fear of what the cruel society will tell. So everybody advises Chandra to marry Durdhara so that she can also stay with them. "Karyeshu Daasi, karaneshu mantri, ..." BGM is playing on in full sound; Helena will catch the sindoor in one hand, Nandini will handover the mangalsutra and Moora will read the marriage mantras while his foster mother would bless the new couple with turmeric stained rice to bless their happy married life while Chandra is cursing the whole stupid proceedings beneath his breath telling, "Kam se Kam Mera ek dost ko chodthe!"
