It's sheer talent on the part of Ekta and her team of 'creatives' that an emperor who was known for his sense of political strategy has been reduced to an idiotic motor mouth who vomits everything he supposedly 'plans' to the enemy.
A good leader does have confidence,but over confidence reeks of weakness and stupidity.
Here we have Chandragupta,who has been taught to follow the Chanakya Neeti by Chanakya himself fooling around in the palaces and tents of the enemy doing comical scenes about his skirt.
I'm not against comedy, but when it comes at the cost of establishing the strength of logic in one of India's biggest emperors,it does leave a bitter taste in my mouth.
These 'creatives' have so creatively written scenes after scenes displaying nothing but idiocy.
Chanakya Neeti spoke of strategies ang logic and how everything you do must have a purpose.
Now here,what exactly is Chandra doing? And what is Chanakya teaching him? First he sent him off to the palace,this atleast started off well,it looked like an educational exploration of the palace for a future plan for an attack maybe? But that idea too was soon forgotten and it failed miserably to deliver when he confessed it to the daasi. When he got caught,I was expecting some smart thinking on his part to get out of the situationm
But no,he had to go the filmy way.
Now the same is being repeated with Sikander. I fail to understand why the 'firangi' are not speaking in their native language. Even if they say,chalo its a hindi daily, so we'll make them talk in hindi. But even the hindi dialect is confused on its own. They have have mixed urdu with it.
But I must say,these firangi have such great hold of the language. They are even saying proverbs in hindi and urdu.đThey get better lines than the leads here!
Also,why were there desi soldiers? Maybe they work for them,Im not sure. In any case,there were only desi soldiers,lack of funds to get safed chamdi eh Ekta?
This reminds me,I feel the Vfx team has been given a hefty amount,as these people have possibly done everything they could do. Every other scene has cgi now.
On the other hand,the stuntmen seem to be on a hartaal. Such poorly choreographed scenes.
Worst of all though, are the cameramen. What the hell are these guys smoking? Does every scene needs to have a jerky camera?
While Chandra's horse riding was so poorly shot ( Seriously? You needed a dummy horse ride to show his close up? this guy out of all?
I suggest you guys watch a few episodes of Prithviraj Chauhan and one of his signature moves were on the horse. What style! It was so well captured) And then look at CN. Ridiculous!
Can't they take front view shots as opposed to top view?
However,today's episode which had Nandini's sword fighting scene was shot decently well. Better than what was done so far.
This show has no spark. Its stale and tasteless. Nothing excites me. Its not growing on me at all. There should be some USP atleast. đĽą
The Indian television has been taking its audience for granted and has been producing bad products one after the other forcing it down our throats. This is what gets the trps they say. Why? Are we stupid that we need to watch stupid shows? Maybe there is an audience which does enjoy this kind of storyline,but tv is meant for anyone. What kind of shows are people who enjoy a bit of logic in the script and some sanity going to watch?
