But, thanks for the sweet welcome to the Chandra Nandini forum 😳

You will find my posts are not really analysis but takes of what are positive in the episodes and serial. Basically, if we watch the episode, there must be something we enjoy in it, hopefully 😆

That being said, I see the serial already toning down. I have never watched Makdee (too scared as a kid) but Swetha was amazing in Iqbal. I also saw her as a kid artist in Kutumb which was one of my favorite Ekta serials back in the day (now I date myself).

I will definitely PM you the next time.

I love this take of you.😳. I have no complaints regarding the show as I am enjoying it. And as long I can get fun I am going to enjoy... Only I wish the sets and the action sequences and vfxs were done a bit realistically... Friday it was feeling as if am watching a cartoon series.😆

Haven't watched Bahubali, but it seems I have to go for it soon getting the inspiration from CN.😆

Great to see your excitement- it means a lot 😳 And especially that the takes are cool for you.

I agree - not much to complain about- though I initially thought it was a bit OTT. I was telling someone yesterday that Ekta will probably not only take things from Jodha Akbar but also what is working for her other serials like Naagin- so we will likely get other cartoon like graphics.

That being said the acting will likely be top notch, especially of the leads.

I will definitely PM- for first take did not know who to really PM as I was not up to date on the forum.

Nothing surprising about your positive take Magal. This is Ekta's CN and as such the characters can sometimes be outrageously loud. I am waiting for you to identify the quirky ones that somehow give the show something for me to look forward to. Other than that, as you say, the short term is enjoyable. (maybe you forgot I kept saying 'watch!') Glad you came on board...eventually.

Yes, to all in the forum, it was Chitti's words of wisdom that made me get over two things- the OTT nature of the characters and the dejavu feel of the serial.

And yes, the hunt for quirky characters is on. After all we will have to find another M&M club. However, Malayketu likely doesn't fit the bill, right 😉 But maybe Mura could count? What is it with M and odd behavior is unclear? That being said, Nandini's sister in law could be a candidate.

Thanks so much! Yes, the point of the Take 5's is to find what we enjoyed and there are a lot of promising parts of Chandra Nandini for sure.

Agreed on the over the top - but that is Ekta's style.

That being said- you mention the love and hate is not as convincing here. I would say the hate between Chandra and Nandini is growing just now.

However, what Chandra Nandini seems to have is more of a back story on why Chandra doesn't believe in love and the heart. With Jalal, we never got a backstory really did we on why he kept pronouncing he had no heart? He was just declared a Jallad. Ironically, in some ways, it might be clearer here why Chandra is against love.
