Dear Ekta,
At least let our ancestors rest in peace. Why are you torturing their poor souls with these baseless & mindless crap.
U want to create a lovestory, then atleast show it decently with some basic facts right.
1. Chandragupta got married to Durdhara, the only daughter of Dhananada.
2. Dhanananda was one of the 9 sons of Padmananda & he descended the throne.
3. CGM was married to padmananda's grand-daughter, & not his daughter.
I mean ... it feels so disgusting that you play with our rich, proud history in such pathetic way.
The only sensible historical show I have watched in years is- Chandragupta Maurya on NDTV Imagine & they took the show off. This was really close to the real facts & figures with perfect execution & cast.
Others I have watched are-
1. Maharana Pratap (Better only for initial episodes, most of the acts shown were more of Baahubali acts.)
2. Chakravartin Asoka Samrat- (Better only till Chanakya was alive. They completely changed the history in later episodes with Karwaki track. The after leap episodes were completely on the basis of maker's imagination. The marriage & what not)
3. Jodha Akbar- It did stick to the actual history in the initial episodes until the bhoot-pret & salim track.
4. & Then this- what a mindless crap with no story whatsoever.
Agreed that many people are not into history stuff. But hello Makers, we live in Internet Era. We can google if we want to search something.
Plz Ekta, if you want to show a love story in a royal setup, then plz choose some fictional names with your fictional plot. Donot ruin the names of our ancestors for heaven's sake. You are good only for nonsense saas-bahu craps.
And with better shows with amazing plots coming in the modern days, seems like your reign will be over if you dont change the ways.
RT is a great actor when it comes to playing iconic characters but I dont want him to have such historical shows with no sense in his CV.
Bashers, you are welcome. But I had to lent out my frustration after watching the last 2 episodes.
Any more views, most welcome.
