13th Jan – Written Update

P & G are gloomily collecting their thingsr when Marlyani appears. She tells them to make sure Rahul isn't told anything relating to last night's happenings.

Marlyani is furious to learn of Arjun's decision and barges into his office. They have their usual verbal-dual; and eventually Marlyani tells Arjun to show some decency, to which he retorts as you did with Anisa, leaving her in the police station overnight?! 😛

Anisa enters the office but as per usual is ignored by all other colleagues/workers.

Rahul is sitting upset in his office, when Arjun tells him to go and bring Anisa back – Rahul doubts she will return by his say-so; Arjun tells him that if he wants, he can bring her back, but in return Rahul will have to do whatever he says. Rahul agrees.

Anisa returns home and is met by her mom in the driveway. Anisa's mom explains that her father's medication has finished and she isn't able to get any more as the shop-keeper has refused to allow them any more credit. Anisa reassures her mom, and goes to get the medication herself. The bill totals to 400Rs but Anisa only has 200Rs. Anisa explains that she didn't realise the medicines were so expensive and she will pay the remaining 200Rs tomorrow. The shop-keeper refuses to allow her credit; during their heated argument, Arjun interrupts by putting forward a 1000Rs note.😳

PRECAP – Arjun tries to persuade Anisa to return for the sake of her parents, if only to settle the balance of her dues.

Anisa walks towards the office, thinking to herself that she is only returning to collect her outstanding salary becos of her financial situation – otherwise she wouldn't have. However, she refuses to reconsider her decision of working there.
