I luv historical shw nd anything related to history...

i was expecting to get historical knowledge from this show but my expectation turned into hollow when the makers of this show started to fictionalize this show for the shake of trp..

MY reason is totally different. 😆

I started because this is the story of my state. 😆 After sometime i started watching it for Sid then PS (Dharma). During this time i got so involved with the forum and friends that it become impossible to miss any episodes. Then the disaster and repulsive KVK track started and i watched selective episodes thanks to that. When the leap happened i thought nothing left to watch because there was no sid. Then somya became KVK and i got another reason to watch. Cvs destroyed KVK character so bad that i thought of leaving but till that time i started liking mohit and his portrayal of ashoka. Now except for the actors only the forum is the reason for me to watch. I watch so that i dont feel left out in discussion. 😛

I love history and the political wheeling and deeling.The initial episodes seemed promising -Chanakya-Ashok interactions, the three queens who are so different from each other,the forbidden Justin-Noor romance,the various factions at Court who are at odds with each other.The characters were thoroughly fleshed out, each having his/her own motivations.

Now the show has decided to focus on Ashok-Kaurwaki romance and to hell with staying true to character.Bindusar and Dharma are worse than yo-yos. The former is unsure whether Ashok is his favorite son or the reason for all his troubles.The latter is undecided whether Kaurwaki or Devi will make a good wife to Ashok.Forget about the rest.

I just love to read or see anything related to history or mythological that it is why I started watching ashok serial.now my favourite actor mohit raina is also acting in it is another reason for watching it
