Sushim had never felt at peace. He step out taking a deep breath before closing his door. Suddenly he spotted a letter. He picked it up and read it. He smile before thinking, ahankara wants to meet by the river, how odd. He put the letter away and walk to the river area, there he searched for her. He Was about to call her name when he heard a sound.

Turning to his left he spotted ahankara and a men kissing. He was beyond angry. He marched towards them and grab the men. Sushim punched him until the men bled. Ahankara tried stopping him, but sushim pushed her away " you have betrayed me. I thought you loved me, but I was wrong."

Ahankara finally can see says " I'm sorry, I thought he was you this whole time."

" How Could You Have Mistaken us" he yells"

" I don't know, one minute I was heading to your house to tell you the good, and the next I couldn't see. I heard your voice and things led to another"

Sushim didn't know what to think about this " what good news? "

Ahankara says she's with a child. Sushim only got angry, he told her now he understand everything. He says the men he punched must be her lover who impregnated her. Ahankara denies it, she says it's theirs. Sushim laughs, he says he won't believe anything that comes out of her mouth. Out of anger he calls her a who're. Ahankara upsets slaps him. She says she would have thought he would believe her, but she was wrong.

She says he hasn't change at all, his heart will always be tainted. Sushim told her ...she's right. He says their time together is now a dream to him. He says he is sushim, bibdusara first born. He says he had forgotten , but not anymore. He says he will spare her now, but the next time he sees her , he won't be so forgiven.

Ahankara, sadly turns away. She didn't know what had happen. She really couldn't see a thing. She says how could that be?, while walking she felt pain. She held her stomach while falling down. She felt something wet below and starts to cry. She turn asking sushim for help, but he told her he has no relation to her and walk away. Luckily someone found her and took her to the palace. Few hours later, the house maid told her she lost her unborn child. She also said, her inside is damage so she won't be able to have children.

Ahankara blacked out, while her mom cries. The maids outside felt sorry for her. One of the maids walk away. She went to her room and hang herself. Turns out she was the one who gave her the drink charu told her to give. The drink was to kill the child in her womb, but it had a side affect, which causes the person to go blind, while it works it's magic.

Meanwhile, dharma was watching Devi while thinking of the letter. Dharma says it's been four days and ashok still haven't come back. She says I had another dream, ashok becomes chand. She says I thought him marrying Devi would prevent that from happening, but I was wrong. She says then that would mean, him marrying Kaurvaki will cause ashok to change to chand. I can't let that happen, I know ashok probably still loves Kaurvaki, but I can't let our land and my son, become indian. Greatest enemy.

While thinking, she was unaware of Devi calling her. " what Devi?"

Devi smile " I was asking if you will fast for the king"

Dharma seem upset " I won't, because he will never appear before me"

" I still think you should"

Dharma ignored it , she distracted her by asking if she will fast for ashok. She says no, because Her child needs to eat. Dharma says if she won't fast then ashok will fast for her.Devi says how, when ashok is no where to be found. Dharma says " trust me, ashok will fast and come tomorrow "

Devi smile before excusing herself. Dharma wrote a letter,before telling some people to deliver it.

Elsewhere, ashok and Kaurvaki went back to the cave. Kaurvaki told him, she wants to finish it. So ashok decides to help her.they work on it till night. Before ashok volunteer to catch dinner. It wasn't long before ashok came back, he had mud from head to toe. He told Kaurvaki he couldn't catch any fish and she laugh at him. She told him she will have to teach him. Ashok blush, he stubbornly told her he will Get it.

" right" she says before dragging him " I found some fruits we can eat , that should be enough. "

She took him to the hot stream, and told him to wash up. Ashok says will you help me wash up. Kaurvaki blush, she told him he's not a baby and can do it himself. She turn " I will bring your share". Ashok wasn't pleased but he had an idea. He strip of his clothes and enter the water. he watch as Kaurvaki came back to grab his clothes. Ashok tried getting her attention, but she ignored him.

He whistle, but she only turn away. He even throw a rock, she stopped, but she continued walking. Ashok says " I will have to take drastic measures. " Kaurvaki?"

" Yes!?"

" can you bring my food here?"

When he didn't hear anything ashok waited. He smile when she appeared with the fruits to put it next to him. She still wouldn't look him in the eyes. When she turn once more, ashok yells. Kaurvaki worried turn to see ashok fall inside the water. She calls his name, but she didn't get any respond. Decided, she walk inside searching for him.

Ashok appeared before her and wrap his arm around her. Kaurvaki was surprise. " ashok your OK? What happens?"

" I fell?"

" how?"

When he didn't say anything she raise a brow. Ashok told her not to worry about it because his alive. He held her in the middle of the water telling her how he had to control himself the whole day. He says he couldn't hold her or touch her. But now he can. He says " I want my wife full attention, now that we're alone"

He drags her where the fruit was and told her to feed him. Kaurvaki told him he is such a big baby. Ashok says only when I'm with you. She complies anyway, and fed him. While eating they stare at one another, neither look away. Ashok held her hand, and kiss her arm. Kaurvaki was melting. He swiftly pick her up bridal style, making her wrap her hand around his neck.

Kaurvaki close her eyes, causing ashok to laugh " your still shy after seeing everything? "

" I can't help it"

" your very amusing Kaurvaki "

Kaurvaki pouts " I'm glad you find my embarrassment funny my prince "

Now it was ashok turn to raise a brow " we're going by titles now?"

" you don't like?"

" no, when it's just me and you... I want you to just call me ashok.even when I become king " he says putting her on the bed. " then I shall call you by your name even when your king"

Ashok, told her he will be back. He left the bed to push the rock to the entrance, by that time Kaurvaki was getting sleepy. She didn't know how tierd. Her body was until she was on the bed. She yawn and close her eyes, before sleep took her.

When ashok came back, he knelt down and smile while carressing her face. He says " she's out already" , he grab the covers before getting in himself. He coverd both of them, letting sleep took them.

" no Kaurvaki, don't say another word. I ashok will come back to you. Thats a promise", Kaurvaki smile, she says OK, before they decided to leave.

Meanwhile, bindu was pampering charu, and charu was loving every second of it. Bindu told charu that he would like her to stay in his room. She was so excited. While she pack her things, Bindu came up with a plan. That night while they were asleep, Bindu woke up. He silently made his way to Helen asking if she knows which part of the room her powers lies. Helen says " in the darkness, you will find a cloth tied. Their you shall find the source of her power."

Bindu confuse says " that doesn't help me Helen. I need More then that"

" you are a smart king Bindu, I'm sure you will figure it out"

And so , with little information Bindu makes his way to charu room. It was indeed dark. He search for what he was looking for, but saw nothing. He check her closet, bathroom, and even bed, but he couldn't find any cloth. He was about to give up when he fell on something. Confuse he touched the cloth to see a black rock. It was just a normal rock, but Bindu knew it could be more.

He grabs it and took it outside. Their he smashes it to pieces. While this was happening charu woke up screaming. She got up and search around, following where the rock was last seen. When she reached the spot, she saw Bindu turning to leave. He stop when he sees charu. " look what you have done " she screams holding his shoulder.

Bindu says " I did it for my family protection"

Charu shook her head in anger, " you destroyed every chance of us being a happy family"

Bindu told her it would never had work since she was to greedy for the thrown..charu devastated says " all what you told e, was it all a lie?"

" I'm sorry..charu"

Charu now crying says " you will pay for what you have done, Bindu. Do you think destroying that would make me less a threat. No...you will pay for the disrespect you have caused my love, mark my words" she says turning now to leave.

Bindu stops her before telling her, her greedyness and selfishness will cause her own death. If not by him, but instead the child she tries so hard to make king. Charu scoff before walking off.

Back to the present, ashok could see the village getting closer. He just hopes his mom was alright. Elsewhere, Kaurvaki woke up to see ashok no where, " that's right he left" , she got up and clean up before taking a bath. When done, she got up to leave, when she spotted a cloth wrapped. Curious... she walk to it and read the letter.

Dear Kaurvaki,

Its unfortunate that I had to leave you, but don't be upset. I will keep my promise of coming back. I will also continue my fast until I a fed from your hands. Anyway, this is gift for you, I hope you enjoy it.

Yours ashok

Kaurvaki smile before opening it. She gasp when she saw a beautiful saree and jeweler's. She mentally thanks ashok before putting it on. She thought of many things ashok would say to her when he sees her in the outfit. She smile with happyness, all while saying " I won't take this off, until ashok sees me" she says

Meanwhile, vit told Devi that ashok, will be hungry later on. Devi says, how when he's not even here?"

Vit told her that ashok is with her. He told her to close her eyes and picture him . When she did, she blush seeing ashok, Vit told her to open her eyes, by that time ashok enter the house. Both parties we're shock to see Ashok.

Ashok pass Devi and vit while searching for his mom. Their he spotted her praying. " mother? I heard you we're sick?"

Dharma praying told ashok to remove his shoes. Which of course he did. " come and pray with me" she says

" mother, what's this all about? We're you not sick?"

Dharma open her eyes and smile " I'm perfectly fine beta , I'm glad your here", she got up holding the tray with candle, before walking around, while blowing it. " why did you lie? Do you not care, how worried I became"

" I know, that's why I did it. You disappeared late at night telling no one. Do you know how worried me and Devi was" she says pointing at Devi.

" it's fine, im sure it must have been important " Devi commented

Dharma told Devi, she's right. She told Devi that she's sure ashok didn't forget his marriage ritual, and also this special day. She told Devi if she knows her son, he must have fasted for her. Ashok became tense, Dharma looking at ashok, asks if his fasting. Ashok slowly nods. Devi became happy, vit told Devi that he was right. He says " bhai loves you very much"

Dharma watch ashok intensely. Devi not noticing became excited. She grab ashok hand and puts it on her stomach " it's kicking ashok, it won't be long before our baby arrives"

Ashok amazed, smile " he will make a fine warrior one day"

He remove his hand not noticing devi looking at dharma worriedly. After their little happy time, Dharma pulls ashok aside. She drag ashok to the back of he house before asking him where he went. Ashok told her he had some business in odisha. Dharma angry shows the letter " is this the business you we're talking about"..

" how did you find this?"

" I was cleaning your room when I spotted the letter. You don't know what your doing by being in touch with Kaurvaki. Ashok."

" I love her mother" he says

" your love for her is dangerous "

" why would you think that?"

Dharma staid quiet, before resuming " just trust me and stay away from her ashok"

.ashok frowns " How can I stay away when she's my wife"

When he said this Dharma was shock. She shook her head in denial. Ashok says you we're the main one who encourage our love, but now your against it. I just don't understan-", he never finished because Dharma slapped him.

" DO YOU Know What you have done? You went and do a rational decision without us, without telling Devi. I don't know why you did it, but I will not allowed it. Remove Kaurvaki from your heart, if not I will kill myself" she says taking out a pocket knife. She puts it next to her wrist while looking at ashok

Ashok surprise told her not to do things like that. Dharma says " promise me, you will remove her from your heart, if not you will see your mother dead right on this ground", when she said this she slit half of her wrist, causing blood to come out. Ashok panicked " mother please, I will do what you say, just stop"

Dharma still continued " promise me ashok"

" I - I.. promise I won't think of Kaurvaki. I won't meet her, just please don't do this"

Dharma drops the knife before collapsing. Ashok quickly ran to her. He quickly tied her wrist before picking her up. Ashok sadly walk back " I didn't think you would be against my love, I had dream of you accepting Kaurvaki and welcoming her with open arms. Now the future I wanted to build with kaurvaki is unclear. I have broken my promise, and left her alone with no family or a husband."

Ashok let the tears fall on his mother face. He apologize over and over to Kaurvaki. Ashok just wish their was another way. He laugh at how cruel fate is. When he walk in devi asks what happend to Dharma, ashok told her she cut her wrist by accident. ashok quickly put her down , while Devi took care of her. While watching, he imagine Kaurvaki by Dharma side. Both women taking care of her.

He imagine Kaurvaki looking at him, smiling while telling him not to just stand their, but to help fan her. He smile, causing Kaurvaki to pout before mumbling words like lazy prince and other things. Ashok chuckle, he was unaware of vit Looking at him weirdly " bhai what are you laughing at?"

This snap ashok out of his trance. He compose himself and told vit it was nothing. Before leaving.

Meanwhile, sushim walk to his mother drunk. Charu not doing we'll either asks if he was having a bad day. Sushim sat next to her " why are we destined to fail in life mother? I couldn't get fathers love, and now the women I loved left me for another." He says while drinking again.

Charu says " we have came this far, but we got distracted by love. Now it's time to get back to business " she says

Sushim shook his head " if being on the thrown will make people see me as great, then I will kill all my brothers to attain it.being away from the pace gave me comfort I have never felt before, it made me forget who I am. But not anymore, I am a maurya, son of bindu. I have nothing to distract me from my goal." He hiccuped.

Charu took the bottle from his hand. Sushim staid quiet before laying his head on his mother lap " why doesn't father love me, mother? Will I ever be recognize by him? Just once I want to hear him say " good job Sushim, I'm proud of you" that alone is enough for me"

Charu played with his hair " you should remove this kind of dream Sushim. Maybe in your next life, your father will love you just as much as he loves ashok, but this is reality. He snt love you, or see you worthy of being king", Sushim feeling the alcohol taking affect close his eyes.

" sleep son, because tomorrow, we will start war" she says evilly

Elsewhere, Kaurvaki step out, enjoying the festival. She imagined ashok walking with her, and just enjoying the moment. She watch a play before getting up to leave. The villagers praise her beauty. Some asks if she was fasting for someone special. She told them it's nothing like that, before heading to her secret place, the cave. She realize it's becoming her and ashok casual hangout. " ashok will come here, I just have to wait" she says sitting by the small flower they grew.

She look at the moon, thinking of ashok. She puts her head on her knees waiting. " ashok should be coming soon" she says

Meanwhile, after some hours Dharma woke up. Devi told her to eat, but she said she won't eat until her son cuts fast. Ashok told her not to worry about him.dharma says " it's almost time" she told Devi to bring the food. Ashok seeing the food remember his promise to Kaurvaki. He says once again I will have to break a promise to you. I know your probably wondering where I am, and questioning if I will come. Im sorry.

Dharma got up happily when they saw the moon. She grab some food and fed vit. Vit did the same. Devi knelt besides ashok, she grab some food to feed him while ashok look at it intensely.

Dharma looking at ashok asks if he was going to eat. Ashok look at his mom who ushers him, before looking at Devi. She smile waiting. He sadly puts the food in his mouth, before excusing himself. He told them he would step out for a few minute before leaving. He, spit the food removing any trace of food in his mouth. He look at the moon wondering if Kaurvaki was looking at it as well.

Some hours later , Kaurvaki thought she heard footsteps. Her heart quickly race. She look around to see nothing. She could hear the village shouts and music, celebrating. She sadly turn away, and walk inside. " who am I kidding ashok won't come. His mother is sick" she says

She was about to remove her jewlieres when ashok walk in " who broke his promise?" He says raising a brow.

Kaurvaki surprise turn to see ashok. Her heart picked up " ashok? You? Why are you here?" She asks

Ashok walk to her " you don't want me to be here?"

Kaurvaki stumbles for words. Ashok chuckles, watching her " you look beautiful " , when he said this she shyly Turn her back to him. Ashok walk behind her and hug her. They staid like this just enjoying each other company, before she asks about his mother health. " mother is doing fine"

" do you think she will accept me?"

Ashok staid quiet, he remember his mother words " yes...she will love you a lot", this made Kaurvaki happy. She told ashok when everything is good. She will showEr Dharma with so much love. Ashok told her, if she does then she won't have any love left for him. Kaurvaki smile, while fidging With her finger. " stop crying like a baby"

" am not" he says

Kaurvaki turn to look him in the eyes. They both stare just enjoying the moment. Ashok asks if she ate, she shook her head. She asks him too, he shook his head. Kaurvaki drags him to the bed. And she lit a candle, before doing rounds near ashok. She puts the candle down, and grab the food feeding him. Ashok grab some food and fed her. Both of them just loving the moment. When done, Kaurvaki got up with the tray, but ashok sitting told her to come.

when She turn ashok pulls her arm. Causing her to lean in for a kiss. Her eyes widen, but she allowed it. The plate makes a clang sound, while the candle burn and Continued to sway all through the night. The next day, ashok woke up recalling what had happen.

While outside, ashok asks the gods to give him a sign if he should leave Kaurvaki. He says" if I look up at the moon and I don't see her, then I will abide by mothers wish. But if I see her, then I will go to her, just for one night." , he close his eye before opening it. He look at the moon, to seeing Kaurvaki face. " I know what I must do" he says before getting on his horse

Ashok kiss the temple of her forehead. Causing her to stir and turn to face his chest. She snuggle closer enjoying the warmth ashok brings. Ashok hugs her tightly.

Meanwhile

The princes we're having another argument. " how long must we keep waiting for Sushim. He could be dead for all we know" third says

Siamak says " just give him time. He will come"

" If you haven't notice time is not on our hand."

" I agree, but with calculation we can use time to plan carefully " , everyone turn to see Sushim walking in with Charu. " brother?" They all said

Sushim sat down, ignoring them. " we all have one enemy which is ashok. If we can kill him then it will be one less person for the thrown." He says

Charu agreed, " I had a source that told me ashok wife is pregnant. She will give birth to a child that will pass on his legacy. I don't know what that legacy is, but we cannot let something like that happen. We will have to kill his unborn son, before he becomes a threat for us"

Six prince raise a brow " where did you get this information? "

" don't worry about it. All you need to know is that we have to kill Devi child."

"She has a point, by doing so ashok will be vulnerable, and we can kill him." Third says Venumly

They all agreed, all except Sushim. , Sushim told them to give him some soldiers, he says his mother knows their location. " we will strike at night. They all agreed each of them plotting in their heads. Siamak pulls Sushim aside and asks where he went. Sushim told him,it doesn't matter, what matters is that his here.

Siamak looks at charu, but she then to leave, soon follow by Sushim. While they left, charu frown " shouldn't we just kill those annoying prince's. Seens their all in one room"

.Sushim smirk " now that wouldn't be fun mother. I will work with them for the mean time, and let them get killed by ashok.if they kill each other, I will be the only one left for the thrown."

" smart plan, but that's not enough. We shouldn't get to comfortable. We have to plan ahead just in case"

" your right, we will have to have an alley, that will help me"

Charu smile " I know just how to get it "

It was midnight now, Dharma was still up. She couldn't believe ashok broke his promise. She drank more tea while waiting. It wasn't long before she heard a sound. It wasn't coming from the living room or kitchen. She walk up the stairs wondering where the noise came from. When she heard it again. She realize it's coming from Devi room.

Dharma opens it quietly, to see a men ready to kill Devi. She scream causing Devi to open her eyes and roll over. Scared she held on to her stomach. The men move closer to them. Dharma grab Devi hand, putting her behind him. " I won't let you touch her , leave before i call my son"

The men ignored her and throw the knife, causing it to hit the wall. Devi and Dharma ran down the stairs . The man followed them and attack destroying the chairs and table. Dharma thougt of an idea, and quickly grab the kitchen broom .the men move in, making them move back. " why do you want to kill her unborn child?"

When the men didnt Re 'spond, he slash again, but the two dodged. While dodging Devi was left alone. The men seeing this took out another knife. He spin s it before throwing it. Dharma CRIED devi name before jumping infont, causing the knife to hit her straight in the heart.. She stop and couph out blood " please help ashok Devi" she says before falling on the floor. Dharma now shaking, holds Devi hand.

The blood was smearing all over her back. Devi cried saying she will get help. But Dharma held her hand " l-listen t-to me, please protect ashok. Now that I won't be their anymore. AND tell him, I forgive him" she says before dropping her hand. The men seeing this, was surprise . He was debating whether to run or just die, and he chose to die. He stab himself and fell to the floor.

Devi on the other hand was in shock. She soon starts to panick. Durring her panick attack her water broke. Holding her stomach she cries for help, shouting vit and her father name.

Elsewhere, ashok woke up calling his mom name. Kaurvaki storing asks if everything was fine. He told her, he had a bad dream, and is worried for his mom. Kaurvaki sigh, she sat up and puts ashok head on her lap. She pats his head and sang a lullaby. She told ashok everything will be fine, for him not to worry.

It was the middle of the night, ashok decides to leave. He couldn't stop feeling that something wasn't right. He said he will only feel alright if he goes back, and confirm his mother is OK. Just when he was about to climb down, Kaurvaki walk out with a blanket wrapped around herself. She sadly walk to him " your leaving? "

" yes, ... i have to make sure mother is alright "

Kaurvaki nod, she held his hand and told him to be safe. Ashok, told her he will come back to her before kissing her forehead. Kaurvaki sigh and watch as he leave.

It took ashok the next morning to reach ujjain. When he arrive people sadly whispered amongst each other. Ashok wonder why, he step down from his horse and walk to the house. He felt it in the pit of his stomach, something wasn't right. Ashok enter his house and calls for his mom, Devi seeing him weakly Ran to him. She hugged him while crying. " ashok, I'm glad your here. Your mother...she- she's "

Ashok look at her " she's what Devi?" He said while starting to panick. She looks up " she's dead ashok"

When she said this, ashok whole body shut down. " mother" he says, before removing Devi from his arm. Ashok walk to the living room calling for his mom. When he spotted her, he breaks down. " Mother!, please wake up" he says holding her hand. He shook her hand while telling her to open her eyes, but nothing.

Devi crying told him everything. She said it's because of her she died, " it's my fault ashok, I'm so sorry"

Ashok heard her, but he was to focus on his mother. He cried like a new born baby. Blaming himself for leaving her instead of keeping her promise. Vit Eyes red, comes to ashok. He knelt down and calls his name. Ashok turn and they both hug crying. " where did you go bhai? Mother... she won't wake up"

Ashok told him, he was sorry. He apologize many times, and told him, he won't go anywhere. Ashok suddenly stop when he saw another dead body in the kitchen. He walk to the body, looking at it. Devi from afar, told him that's the men that killed Dharma. Ashok out of anger took his sword and stab the men. He scream while continuously keep stabbing him.

Devi scream telling him, to stop because he was no longer alive. Ashok once again ignore her and continue stabbing the men, causing blood to get on his face. Devi look away , she felt like throwing up. She stop when she heard a baby cry, and ran up the stairs. Soon, the door was open and bindu walks in. He asks vit where Dharma was, but stop when he saw her. Shock he ran to her. Bindu touch her face " my beloved, you left before I could give you peace in this world.

" what will I do now? How can I protect our children and show them the right path, like you always do." He says " you should have waited for me, but now you left me alone, what will I do now without you? " he says

Acharya RG, walk to ashok. He told ashok it was enough. For him to get back to his sense. Ashok drop his sword, and look at him " this men killed mother, I will make sure his soul, never be in peace even in the afterlife."

" ashok, I understand stand your angry, but focus."

Ashok angry says " I couldn't protect mother, and the guilt is killing me, but you want me to forget"

" I'm not saying that, we have to prepare your mother. Stabbing this men, over and over will delay the preparation. "

Ashok now calm got up, " what will I do now?"

" for one , you can try to keep your family safe."

Ashok eyes came to life for a quick second. devi came down with her son. She walk to ashok and showed him her son. Ashok looking at him and almost cried. " my son" he says touching his face. when devi saw the blood smearing on her child, she was about to move him away, but acharya shook his head " let him have this moment, this should get him back to his sense"

Ashok while looking remember what dharma had told him before. He smile " mahendra"

" mahendra?" They both said

" that is his name, his new identity. He will be mahendra samrat. Son of ashok samrat the soon to be king " , when he said this they both smile.

Few hours later, they arrived in magadh, Ashok five brothers gathered around. Ashok was to busy going inside to see the third prince angry face. Sushim told him to keep it in. " ashok doesn't know we planned this. You reacting now will cause him to be suspicious "

" his right, our plan didn't cometely fail. We wanted Devi child to die, but we got Dharma instead. How lucky can we be" siamak says

Charu frown " that's not good enough, we have to kill that child or we are good as dead"

Sushim says " they will be staying in the castle for two nights, we can kill the child then"

They all nod, before following ashok in. They we're unaware of some one listening. The person turn and walk away.

Meanwhile, ashok enter the royal garden. He felt a sense of peace. " your mother fixed this place, she came here everyday to find peace", ashok nod, he said " this will be the perfect place to set her free"

It wasn't long before the ceremony finished. Bindu asks ashok if he will stay. Ashok nod, Devi felt unease being back, but understands ashok need this the most.

Words soon got out that Rani Dharma was dead. Kaurvaki was at the temple, passing food to the monks when she heard two men passing by.

" did you hear?"

." Hear what?"

" I heard bindu wife died"

The men glare " which one idiot, bindu has many wives"

" the pretty one...what was her name...ah! that's it, Rani Dharma"

Kaurvaki quickly stop what she was doing. dharma is dead, no...this cant be...she says " how?! what about ashok" she question. She wanted to cry , but held it in. " i have to go to magadh" she says dropping the food. The monks shout her name, but she payed no mind. " ashok is grieving, he needs me" she says running to her house to change.

She wore something light, and a black cloak to cover her hair before leaving, heading to magadh.

This whole time I realize I got Kaurvaki home town wrong, I've been saying Odessa or as it odissa. Instead of orissa. And I think I had spelled Patna wrong too. I apologize

Kaurvaki is seen in magadh. She walk passed people heading to bindu castle, suddenly she heard people calling ashok name. She turn when she spotted a glimps of him. Her heart beat. She was about to call his name, but he disappeared. Frowning, she decides to follow him. She moved passed people, pushing some.but it was no use, she had lost him.

Kaurvaki decides to wait for another day. The next day came by really fast. Kaurvaki was heading to the palace, she saw soldiers running, and once more ashok riding on his horse, "asho-" she says, but stop when he passed right by her, with determination. When he was gone, she heard a scream, she turn to see a women telling a men to leave her. Saying her son was missing.

Kaurvaki wonder who the women is. She decides it was non of her business, and leave. Hopeing to catch ashok.

Meanwhile, ashok told the guards to search every area and the border line, he told them who ever it is will be punished by him. He got down from his horse, and search the area. He remember earlier what happens.

Ashok still in his mother garden, was now weeping. He had no more tears left. Sushim seeing him, calls him pathetic before turning to leave. Devi told ashok she will head to their room. While walking she didn't notice, siamak following. She closed the door, and puts mahendra on the bed. She was babbling about random things, and how everything moved really fast. She told her son how she missed Dharma, and how she was like another mother to her.

She stop when she heard the window open, and shiver when she felt cold air. " I should close the window so mahendra Wouldn't get sick" , while walking to the window. She didn't notice , the fifth prince coming from under the bed, and grab mahendra. The baby was about to start crying, but the fifth prince held his mouth. he silently went back under the bed waiting. Devi turning panicked when she didnt see her son.

She search the whole room, but still nothing. Panicking, she step out calling for help. This was enough time for the prince to ascape. He gave the baby to the maid, telling her to hurry before walking to his father, who called a meeting. Devi ran to the garden , and told ashok. Ashok getting up was angry, he told devi who ever it is he will punish them.

Bindu walk to them, follow by the prince's. Bindu says , someone has kidnapped mahendra, we will have to be fast and search before they ascape. Ashok told him, he can do it alone with some guards, but bindu says its better if they all search.

ashok says " its his family, he will take responsibility"

Bindu sigh, but agreed to it. Ashok walks away with some soldier. Devi thanks bindu, for being concern for her son. Bindu says " i only did it because my beloved, sacrificed her life for your son. I wouldn't want her sacrifice to be in vein" , he turn and walk away ignoring Devi.

The prince's. Looking at one another nod. They left the garden area and step outside " is the child out the palace?"

" perfect, we should meet the maid by the river and dump the child where the crocodile swim" charu says

" ashok won't know what hits him"

Ashok was furious, he was getting in patient. Still they couldn't find him. " who ever is behind this is smart, but I'm way clever. I will find and punish them servially "

The prince's Were heading to the river area, they stop when they saw kaurvaki talking to the maid. " your from the palace right?"

The maid nervous says no. Kaurvaki knit her brow. She wasn't stupid, she saw the lady walk out with the baby, and suddenly remembered the lady screaming for her child. She look at the bundle in the lady arm. Kaurvaki asks if she wasn't ashamed. The maid look away " your a women too, so you must know a mothers pain." ,she knit her brow together before saying " hand over the baby"

The women told Kaurvaki, she can't or they will kill her. Kaurvaki raise a brow " they who?"

She was about to say something when an arrow hit her back. Gasping she almost drop the baby, but Kaurvaki grab it before she can. The women told Kaurvaki to run, but kaurvaki told her she will get help. The women shook her head and told her, they will kill her too. her hand drop while taking her last breath. Kaurvaki closed her eyes. Mahendra starts to cry, alarming ashok and his troops.

Sighing, kaurvaki puts her hoodie back on, and left the area, heading back to magadh, she tried soothing the baby, who kept crying. Stopping, she look at the baby, And thought he look like his mother. She smile, thinking of herself as a mother with ashok child. She rock the baby side to side before singing a song. The baby stop crying, and look at Kaurvaki.

Kaurvaki says " now your quiet.I guess that's a good thing" , she wipe the baby tears, and cooed seeing him yawn so cutely. She decided to hurry up, just when she took a step, guards surround her. Sushim while hiding smirk. Kaurvaki confuse wonder what's going. The guards seeing the baby, snatched him from her hand, causing the baby to cry. " you are coming with us" they said tying her hand.

While leaving, the fourth prince says " our plan is ruined "

" it's not, it couldn't get better" charu says

The prince's Look at her " do you know something mother?"

Charu smirk " let's just say ashok will be shock to see her"

Siamak says " if she's close to ashok, wouldn't ashok set her free. Besides we don't really know what the maid told her, so she might tell ashok "

Fourth prince thinking says " that's where we come in. We all heard what ashok said earlier, he will punish the culprit. He declared it in front of father and his wife. Ashok can't take back his words. We should remind him, and if he refuse father will deal with it."

"Your right, our luck keeps getting better and better " third says

Kaurvaki sees ashok, but his back was turned, they took her to the palace. Their ashok met Devi, who was happy to get the baby back. " our son is safe now" , this cause Kaurvaki to gasp, before she fell on her knees.

Kaurvaki is seen chained in the dungeon.. her back was facing his. Ashok had two soldiers with them whipping her. Ashok asks one last time, who she was helping, " I don't know what your talking about, I found the child in the forest." She says sadly

Ashok didn't believe it, he told them she's lying and to whipp her until the next day. Kaurvaki gasp.

Ashok and Devi sees the snake wrapped around mahendra, and suddenly it bit him in the arm. Mahendra cries, while ashok kills the snake.

" Sushim and the prince's. Plotted to kill your son, and I believe they killed Dharma as well" the women say

The soldiers drag Kaurvaki away while mahendra cries. When they reach the clearing, ashok arrive with his horse. He look at the soldiers who nod at him. He asks if that was the person, they nod. They gave mahendra to him before looking at Kaurvaki, whose head was still down. He told them to meet him at the palace , before turning around.

while they we're walking Kaurvaki looks at ashok. She smile just watching him. Ashok feeling a familiar presence look at the corner of his eyes, but Kaurvaki was already looking down. He turn back, wondering why he felt his soul calling him. He thought, I must be missing Kaurvaki a lot. I hope she's doing well. When they reach the palace, they took Kaurvaki in, following ashok.

Devi seeing them ran to ashok. Soon follow by the family, " did you find him ashok" she says, ashok nod before handing Devi mahendra " our son is safe now. Didn't I tell you earlier, that I would find the culprit. " he says pointing at kaurvaki " now see how I deal with this traitor "

Kaurvaki hearing ashok words fell to the floor. Ashok is married?...he has a son?... when... how?...why did he lie to me. All of this was running inside her head , she suddenly recall her words to him when they were in kalinga. " am i the only one in your life", she remember when ashok didnt reply back.

Sad, the guards took her to the cell. Where they tied her and lock her up. Kaurvaki was still recalling ashok words. It wasnt long before ashok arrives, he asked her about her intention , but she staid quiet . Her mind was somewhere else. Ashok on the other hand took it the wrong way. He told the guards to hit her, which they did. When they whipped her, she came back to her sense, and cried.

Ashok told them again all over. Saying she will talk, Kaurvaki told ashok, she didn't do anything. Ashok told her, how did she get mahendra and who was she working for?, Kaurvaki, whole body starts to ache. " I-I 'm telling the truth. I found him in the forest"

Ashok squints. His eyes, he didn't know how he knew, but he realize she was lying. " since she won't confess, whipp her until the next day. Maybe she will confess then" , when he said this Kaurvaki gasp. She said no, he can't do this to her. She said she didn't do anything, he has to believe her. Ashok ignores her, and turn when he saw Devi.

" what are you doing down here? "

Devi looks at Kaurvaki back, her hoodie finally came off. The soldiers looking at her gasp. One whispered she's pretty, but the other soldier nudge him to stay quiet. Devi could see her shirt torn from all the whipping. She turn away " ashok let her go"

" and why should I, are you forgetting she kidnapped our son"

" she's a women ashok, you can't punish her this way"

" it doesn't matter to me, especially if their danger to my family. "

Devi was about to protest , but ashok told her to turn back. She sadly left. Ashok asks the guards why their just standing there, and to continue. They hesitate before whipping her. He turn to leave when Kaurvaki screamed his name. Ashok froze, why does it sound like my Kaurvaki. It couldn't be... right, he thought, ashok was ready to turn back when Devi came running.

" ashok, it's mahendra... his in danger" she says

Surprise, ashok quickly left the area. When they reached the room, they saw the snake wrapped around the baby crib, while hissing. " what do we do ashok? Mahendra Could die"

Ashok calmly walk to the snake, eyeing it. The snake hiss, seeing ashok. It looks at mahendra before it bit him in the arm, causing him to cry. When that happend, Devi fainted. Ashok quickly kills the snake, and throw him out the window. He walk to Devi, telling her to wake up, before grabbing mahendra.

Quickly he cuts the area where mahendra was bittin and sucks the poision out. He spits it out, before doing it one last time, ignoring mahendra cry. When all was well, and Devi was awake. Ashok told her, they have to leave. He says someone is trying to kill their son. Devi nods, she grab mahendra and tried calming him. Afterwards, she left.

Ashok says " it must be someone in the palace, how else are they able to get access in mahendra room. "

Charu seeing devi walk out with mahendra cursed. She was upset that their plan failed, but have another idea. She silently walk to the cell, Helen asks if she was skimming again. Charu told her, this time her plan won't fail, now that Dharma is dead, bindu will be next, with ashok. Helen told her not to hurt her son. If she does, she will become an enemy to her. Charu laughs, " now you care, you we're so adamant to take the throne, but now your switching sides."

Helen staid quiet. " unlike you, I know what I want" charu says before walking further down to open Kaurvaki cell. She smile seeing the guards afraid, before asking for the key. They gave it to her, and she set Kaurvaki free, she told Kaurvaki, ashok won't stop until she's dead,and for her to run. Kaurvaki shaking, left the cell. Her whole body aches, but she was determine to leave.

" perfect" Charu says, she told some guards to inform ashok about Kaurvaki leaving, this surprised them. She told them they can't tell him she was here, or they will die by sushim blade.

They nod out of fear, before Charu turn " let the hunt began"

Meanwhile, ashok puts Devi on the horse with mahendra in her arm. Acharya told ashok, he will guide them back safely. Ashok thank him, Devi says " what about you, will you come back"

Ashok smile " once I find out whose behind this, I will come back. He tap the horse, and it starts to move. He told some soldiers to follow them, before going back in. He walk to the cell to find Kaurvaki gone, he asks who set her free. And they said, she manage to ascape. Ashok told them to find her and if she resist, kill her. They quickly nod, before leaving. Ashok walk up the steps, when he reach a corner, he hits the wall out of anger.

Suddenly he was pull to the side. surprise ashok look at the women. The women showed herself " ahankara, ...what are you doing here? How long has it been"

" it's been far to long ashok. I came to warn you"

Ashok was alert now. Ahankara hesitate before saying " sushim and the prince plotted to kill your son, and I believe they we're behind Dharma death"

Ashok wasn't surprise, he had a hunch it was sushim, but he wasn't expecting the other prince's. He was furious, ashok shouts sushim name. He left Ahankara and walk to where sushim was. Which of course was his room. He broke the door open and March to sushim holding his throat. " you have deseve me once again. And you dare to SHOW!! Your face, at mothers funeral " he says slamming sushim to the wall.

Sushim smirk " deseve? I didn't do anything. If anyone should be angry, it should be the women you torchered in the cell.

Ashok squeeze his neck tighter " what are you talking about?"

" you don't know, I found out from somewhere that the women who you claimed as a kidnapper, was non other then your precious friend Kaurvaki", ashok hands fell.

He was beyond shock. He remembered her scream, and her words. Telling him she didn't kidnap her son. He fell to the floor, sushim seeing this was loving this. Suddenly the guard ashok sent to protect Devi came, bleeding. He told ashok, they we're attacked, and that Devi needs his help. Ashok quickly got up, and was about to step out when sushim says " your forgetting something ashok, didn't you tell your guards to find and kill Kaurvaki. Now who will you protect, your wife, or your friend "

Ashok walk out, ignoring sushim laugh and taunt. He was worried for both of his wife..he didn't know what he should do, " mother if your still watching me, please help me." He says

A men is seen running. Ashok got down from his horse, walking like a preditor. The Men turn back and beg for ashok to spare him. Ashok spins the rope and throw it, catching the men by the throat. He pulls him, slowly to him. The men choked. Ashok drags the men to the village. Everyone watch as he squeeze the rope tighter, around his neck. " this is what happen, when you double cross me. You all should know that a thief will always be a Thief. Theirs no innocent in my book."

He tied the men by the pole, causing him to choke some more. The men watch his wife and children. And told them not to look. Ashok points his sword at the crowd, making them scared, before He spread the men's foot and arm. He ask if he has any last words, the men look at the sky in tears " the gods will punish you for this"

Ashok laughs before cutting the men in the middle. Causing the blood, to spray on their faces. He could hear cries and scream, but he just laugh " anyone that double cross, ashok shall die severely "

A men is seen running through the village. He turn back to make sure he wasn't being followed. He frown seeing ashok, and quickly speed up while throwing things. Ashok calmly jump down from his horse, and starts to walk. The people seeing him move away, While whispering amongst one another. Some quickly run into their house afraid.

Ashok galop with his horse, on his way to uujaini. He hope Acharya found a different way to get their. The more he ride the more his anger was building up. " if anything happen to them, sushim will pay" he says, ashok stops when he heard a noise. He quietly stop his horse, and look around. " whose out their" he says . When no one answer he took his sword out, ashok swiftly Dodge an arrow that was aim to his back..

He jump down, and tap his horse to hide. He Bend down an grab the arrow, observing it. " these are poison arrow. Who ever it is is trying to kill me", when he said this he heard another sound. Ashok jump to the side and cut the arrow. " I can't see them, but if I can just hear their foot steps then I can kill them." Suddenly it starts to rain. Ashok smile and thank his mom.

He quickly made himself a bow, and use the same arrow they aimed at him. He silently waited for the next move, " their" he says aiming to his right and shoot. The person fell to the clearing, making ashok run to him and grab his bow an arrow. He bends down on one knee, and aim when he saw a men on the tree. Soon arrow starts flying, ashok was able to Dodge some, he use the other guys dead body as a shield.

When the arrow stops, he aim killing them all. He unshed his sword, and whistle calling his horse. When it arrive, he jumps on and continue his journey.

Meanwhile, Kaurvaki whole body ache, it still wasn't healed from ashok torcher. She should be angry at him, for not believing her, but she was more hurt that he lied. He had a life this whole time, and she was just the joke. The only one living in fantasy land. She fell down when she loose a step, falling in the mud. She was going to rest their when she heard soldiers coming. " don't tell me ashok called his men to come after me" , she got up, and starts to quick walk.

She was tired yes, she didn't think she could fight for long. She didn't have a weapon with her. She wonder how she will fight them off. Suddenly she remembered, what her teacher told her.

Kaurvaki and chanda we're in the castle. Chanda says they will train today, Kaurvaki surprise told her she left her sword. Chanda told her their training is something different.

" different like how?"

" I will teach you how to make a new weapon quickly while in danger"

" and what is that weapon?"

" an Axe" she says

Kaurvaki didn't know what that is " what is an axssh?".

" while traveling, a foreign men showed and taught me how to make and use it." She sat down and told Kaurvaki to sit.

Little Kaurvaki was now curious. Chanda laugh seeing her eagerness, she told Kaurvaki to get ready.

Kaurvaki could still hear her teacher voice. She quickly cut a branch. She wasn't planning on making a short one. No she was going to make a long one. She chop how long she wanted, and chop another to make two. Then she scrap the bark off with her knife then she tap the branch to make a handle. She quicken her pace when, she heard them coming near.

She tried remembering the next step, " what was it" she says thinking hard, she quickly got it, and made a whole to put the rock inside, then she stuck a rock inside and hit it on the floor to make it stick. Kaurvaki use a rope to tighten the rock, she touch the rock to make sure it was sharp, before standing up. She twirl the axe like a sword testing it's weight. " this should knock them out cold" she says

When they enter the clearing, she prepare herself. The men quickly attack. Kaurvaki Dodge, and kick a men that was coming near. She swung one of the axe, causing it to hit one soldier in the forehead. The men fell down, but Kaurvaki waisted no time. She use the other axe to defend herself, jabbing another on his knees, broken his bones. The last one swung, and she Dodge doing a cartwheel.

She ran and grab her other axe before turning and double hit the men on his side. Cracking his bones. Now out of breath Kaurvaki continues to run. She was unaware of sushim and his other men's heading towards her. She quickly ran through the forest, making turns.

Elsewhere, when ashok reached uujaini he enters the house, calling Devi and acharya. Acharya came down confuse " ashok?, I thought you won't be back for a while"

" is Devi and mahendra OK"

" yeah their sleeping "

When he said this ashok was confuse. He walk up the stairs and enter his room. He watch Devi and his son sleep, they weren't injured or anything. He sigh with relief before stepping out. Acharya asks what was going on, and ashok explain everything.

" it makes no sense that they would tell you this. Why do you think they would lie... Unless it's a diversion, but for what?!"

Ashok thought about it, and recall sushim words. He suddenly starts to shake, " Kaurvaki"

" Kaurvaki? Wait...kalinga princess, why would they attack her"

" I don't know, but if anything happen to her, sushim will know why I am chand" he says stepping out the house.

Acharya told him to be safe, before he gallop on his horse. Ashok would be lying if he told you he knew where she was. He tried to think what other safe place Kaurvaki would go bear uujaini. " her mentor " , determine, he race to Chanda house, when he got their, Chanda told him she hasn't seen Kaurvaki. She asks if Kaurvaki was in trouble, ashok nod.

Chanda saYs she was coming. Ashok refuse saying it's best for her to stay. Chanda asks ashok if he thinks she's incapable of fighting. Ashok stayed quiet. He told her he was leaving, Chanda grab her cane and hits ashok at the back of his head. Ashok surprise, look at her. Chanda stubbornly walk pass him, " I'm coming and that's final"

Ashok, chuckle. " she is definetly Kaurvaki dadi "

While they we're going, Chanda asks ashok who he was. Ashok says he is Kaurvaki childhood friend ashok. Chanda says in head, so this is ashok. Kaurvaki has a good taste, I will tease her about him later. She suddenly remember the reason Kaurvaki was so heart broken. Chanda got mad, she hits ashok on the back of his head, causing ashok to glare at her. She told ashok to pay attention ahead, ignoring ashok mumbles.

Ashok hope Kaurvaki is alright, his heart was hammering. And his skin was feeling cold. He knew something wasn't right, or something was about to happen.

Sushim and his men ran after Kaurvaki. Sushim told his soldiers to shoot her. Which they did, Kaurvaki was lucky enough to Dodge some of the arrow. But she wasnt lucky for the next. She turn to see sushim and his soldiers gaining on her, and turn to run, but was hit on her shoulder. She cried while holding her shoulder, sushim told them to try again. He told them this time she won't be able to walk. The soldier direct his arrow, aiming for Kaurvaki foot.

When he got it, he let it go, and it hit her leg. Kaurvaki scream before falling. Sushim hault His men to stop. And signal them to get her. Kaurvaki tries removing the arrow while wimpering. " well Kaurvaki, how unfortunate we met like this"

Kaurvaki glares at him " if I wasn't in so much pain, I would kill you my self."

Sushim laughs, " you could have been mine, back then, but you chose ashok. Now do you see your fate, how does it feel seeing me before you die"

" I am sadly disappointed, your face will surely hunt me, even in the after life."

Some of the guards crack a smile, but sushim apparently didn't get it. He thank her for her words and told her that's exactly what he wants.

Meanwhile, bindu was searching for ashok. When he didn't find him, charu came to him. " what is it my king? "

" it's nothing, charu. Where is ashok and your son"

" I don't know, but I need to talk to you"

"Speak"

" I want sushim to marry into a good family, that will benefit us. So I chose chanda. Her family is full of skilled craftsmen, and their land has many nutrition and food that we need." She says

Bindu thought about it. He knew their people we're running low on food, and their money wasn't doing well. He could make an alliance with kalinga for trades, but he refuses. Being in good terms with Chanda family could safe us less money on food and we could get full supplies of weapons. " I agree, we will get them married as soon as possi-", he never finish when he fell on his knee. " my king" charu says

She was about to touch bindu, but the guards block her way. Bindu told one of them to call a maid before fainting. It wasn't long bindu was on his bed. Charu was outside, they told her she can't step in. She says, she's his wife, but they refuse saying it's bindu order. Charu walk away all while smirking. " didn't I tell you before Bindu, that you will pay. Now it has started. Before you die, I will make sure you name sushim as the king "

Bindu on the other hand, was breathing hard. One of his wife, who was also skilled with medicine told Bindu his pulse getting weak, she says he has a high fever which should go away with these medicine. Bindu told the fourth prince mother not lie, he told her besides Dharma he trust no other wife, but her. He said if he didn't trust her, she wouldn't be tending to him. " tell me, what is really happening to me"

The fourth prince mother sadly looks at Bindu " your heart my king. It seems like you have some sort of disease. I myself don't know how to help heal or cleans it"

" your saying I'm dying "

" yes my king "

"Thank you" he says

He excuse her, and send word to Acharya to see him. When she left, she was cornered by charu who asks her if the king was well. She told charu his sick and should pray for his well being. Charu scoff, she told her the only thing she will pray for is sushim getting the throne. The fourth prince mother roll her eyes and walk away.

Elsewhere, ashok and chanda got off the horse when they saw three soldiers on the floor. " who are these ashok?"

Ashok walk up to them and sigh " these are my man's well half of them."

" do you think Kaurvaki did this?"

" I'm not sure"

They both stop when they heard noise. They turn to see a men crawling with his hand. Ashok draw his sword " you are sushim men, what are you doing around here?"

The men looks at ashok begging him to help him. Ashok asks what happen. The men retold everything, how sushim killed his men after they left to protect Devi. How one of them disguise as his soldier to inform him about Devi in order to distract him from Kaurvaki. Ashok angry asks where Kaurvaki was, the men says she ran straight ahead. Chanda told ashok to go, she will help him. Ashok nod before leaving.

Ashok was on the run, he heard a scream and quickly speed up. When he got to the clearing, he saw Kaurvaki standing up, while bleeding. " Kaurvaki" he mumbles, he saw sushim on his horse, standing far back watching. Then he saw one of the men pull the string of the arrow and shoot. Ashok waisted no time and cut the arrow into peices. Sushim smirk " nice to see you ashok"

Ashok glares at sushim with hate. Sushim laughs " do you hate me ashok? Do you want to strangle me to death" he says

Ashok stood in front of Kaurvaki protecting her. While Kaurvaki calls his name. He told her everything will be OK. Kaurvaki nod, ashok move back when the soldiers circle them. it soon starts to rain, Sushim told them to kill them, before turning to leave. The soldiers attack ashok, which he was able to defeat. Kaurvaki loosing energy was having a harder time. Before sushim left, he instructed two of his soldiers to focus on Kaurvaki. He told them if theirs an open chance to shoot her.

And so they waited secretly, while ashok moves back. Kaurvaki was near the cliff, panting. The rain was drentching her clothes making it hard for her to move. When ashok was away from her, they shoot, causing her to gasp. " A..a..s...h..o... k" she says, another arrow hit her, this time on her stomach. Ashok turn when she drop the axe. Blood slipping from her mouth. Time seem to freeze, when another arrow zoom pass him, heading to Kaurvaki. Ashok ran trying to stop it, but it was to late.

The arrow hit her right on her chest, where her heart was. Kaurvaki move back. Gasping, reaching for ashok. Ashok wanted to cry, he was almost close to holding her, but she fell. Before she fell she said something with her mouth. Ashok eyes widen, before falling to the ground. He remisc. Everything that had happen to him. Up until his mother and Kaurvaki death.

The soldiers circle ashok some more. Ashok grab his sword, and lift himself of the ground. " no one will leave here alive. Not even your body will be remain" he says with his hair clinging on his face.
