Ashok after riding to Patna, gets of his horse. He look at the windows calling for Sushim. The guards quickly came out. Soon followed by charu and Sushim. They we're wondering who this person was, but stop when they saw his eyes, Sushim smirk " well brother I see you finally stop hiding" " about time because I was getting bored"

Ashok was shaking with rage, his eyes we're turning completely red. " where is she...where is she!"

" where is who!?,"

" don't play dumb, where is my mother?!"

Sushim laugh " right, she's probably chained up and being torcherd"

Ashok in anger screams his name, he says today he won't spare Sushim. Sushim says I've loath you since father brought you into this place. And today you will see why Sushim is feared. He jump down the balcony, everyone cring when he stood up and fix his bones. He took out his sword, and told people not to interrupt. Ashok on the other hand touch the ground to take the earths blessing, before grabbing his sword. " Sushim!!"

"Ashok!!" They both scream before running to each other. Both sword clang against each other. Ashok shouted as he spun around and swung his sword sideways. Sushim deflected the blow with his sword. Ashok out of anger lost his footing. Sushim seeing this roared and drove the tip of his sword into ashok side.

Ashok wince, while touching his side. Charu and Sushim both smirk. Siamak says " ashok is no match for Sushim, after all his indistructable.", they watch as ashok block Sushim sideways swing to his left side and push the sword away. They then circle each other again. Ashok watch his every move, remembering Sushim evil deed. When Sushim attack again, by stepping forward and flicking his wrist out. Ashok block The blur that was his blade, but Sushim was quick.

Without giving ashok time, Sushim slashed ashok right flank. Ashok almost failed to block, barely deflecting it off his neck. Sushim pulls his sword back and slash downward at his shin. He smack them with the flat of the blade, knocking ashok down. When Sushim turn to give the killer strike. Ashok remember something someone said to him long ago. He calmed down and cleared his mind.

Suddenly he realize how slow the sword was going. Ashok quickly turn when he saw the lion roared, he suddenly felt something running through his whole system. Ashok turn back to Sushim who was about to gut his stomach, " I am ashok, mauraya blood, I will punish you, and the ones who betrayed this land . " , ashok grab the sword with his hand, surprising Sushim. He swiftly got back up, and push Sushim with just one hand. He didn't care if it was cut, or bleeding. All he want is Sushim blood.

Ashok grab his sword and touch it with his blood. He glare at Sushim and once again attack, this time with much forced. The low was so fast it knocked Sushim off guard. Ashok turn and slash Sushim. He didn't waist anytime, he double slash him again this time on his left and right side. Sushim cursed while couphin blood. Charu bite her lip, she says at this rate Sushim will loose, I have to do something.

Sushim glares at ashok before lifting his sword to meet his. They went at this again, but ashok had the upper hand, both boys we're bleeding badely. Ashok pushes his sword knocking Sushim sword from his hand. Sushim curse realizing how far his sword was. He watch as ashok walk towards him " you would be coward enough to attack a men with no weapon "..

Ashok stops " your cowardly words will kill you at the end. Even with no sword, I will end your life" , ashok throws the sword away, but Sushim had other plans. He grab dirt and throws it in ashok eyes, making him move back to clear his eyes. Sushim got up and attack ashok with his fist. Knocking him to the ground. Ashok spit blood, Charu calls Sushim and throws a stick to him which he caught. Ashok still couldn't see, decide to use his other senses.

He could hear Sushim footsteps, and heart beating. He waited until he was close before blocking the stick Sushim was aiming. He use both his hands to stop the blow, a normal person would have had his hand broken, but not ashok. He was so use to it that is felt like a pinch. The stick ended up broken. Ashok jump in the air, making Sushim Eyes widen. he pulls on ashok wrist to catch him, but he was already in the air. He shoot his legs forward and up catching Sushim in the stomach with a hard kick, using his grip as support.

Sushim gasp letting ashok go, ashok throws his now free hands back and do a back flip. Whacking Sushim with his foot. When he landed he saw Sushim on his knees holding his stomach and jaw. Ashok eyes now cleared, walk to Sushim and punch him. Sushim fell on his back. Ashok let all his anger out, beating the day light out of him. Charu scream begging ashok to stop, Sushim was now unconsious, but ashok ignored her. He grab his sword which happend to be near him, and aim the tilt towards Sushim heart, Charu scream , while siamak. Shake out of fear.

" Ashok!!" The voice said, full of authority, ashok stops and turn to Bindu, all his anger came back. He was about to attack Bindu as well, but stop when his mom calls him. " mam!?"

" ashok...enough, you have won" she says

He cried before dropping the sword and fainting. Dharma was about to rush to him, when Bindu told her to stop. He says ashok is to dangerous right now. Dharma says ashok will never hurt her, before running to him. Bindu sigh. Before looking at Sushim. He call his guard to take them to the infirmary. Charu out of anger told Bindu to kill ashok, she says " see what he has done to my son. If he dies I will not spare him, mark my word's "

Bindu shut her up " I might be quiet, but I know exactly what goes around in the palace. You let your son kidnap Dharma, to lure ashok here. You got your wish, and this is the affect of it. You did this to your son, not ashok" he says before walking away

Dharma says " I tried preventing ashok from coming here, but now you have brought your own death here, now my son will not stop until you and who ever is helping you dead." She says before leaving

Charu curse Dharma, and promise to kill them if Sushim don't do the job.

Three years later

Helen is seen in jail after they found out she was alive. Bindu has started trusting ashok, out of ashok best interest he decides to exile him to kalinga, and take care of the dispute there When he saw him attempt to kill Siamak. It was sudden, ashok was pissed, but Dharma told him to be patient. Bindu told ashok he's not angry, he says if ashok wants to be king he has to learn to calm his heart. He told ashok to take care of the dispute, until then he can't enter Patna.

Ashok thought it was unfair, that night he told Devi. Devi told him , not to worry to much. She says " he gave you a task that means he trust you enough to handle it. He cares about your well being, just like I do. So you should do it"

" but I won't be able to see you "

" then you better do it fast then" she says

Ashok smile, he promise to fulfill his father task, and come back.

The next day ashok was ready to leave, he had his horse and sword by his side. Dharma wishes him luck, so did Devi. Bindu still didn't approve of Devi, but he understood ashok was in love. He said it was better then that kalinga princess, speaking of kalinga... he was angry by the fact that they we're getting stronger. After their two alliance, kalinga military force has expended, so did their wealth. He thought, they will be great enemy to Patna, if he don't do something.

Meanwhile, a young girl probably in her twenties walk towards the temple with lots of fishes and fruit. She walked with grace, and her beauty outshined many. She had grown her hair, making it reach her waist line, but she tied the end in a knot so it wouldn't bother her. She was very fair, and her eyes was as beautiful as the sea. She had a determine look, but where could she be going. Oh yes... the temple

She walk up the temple with the fruit and fish, and call for the head monk. The head monk step out curious, " what's this now Kaurvaki "

" I told you before, I want to help out as much as I can"

The monk sigh " yes, but your a female you can't joined in our activities"

Kaurvaki stubbornly cross's her arm" when it comes to helping the poor, when has it ever matter what gender I am. You of all people should know that" she says

The young monks laugh, while the elders shush them. One elder spoke " she has a point, besides she's not harming anyone. Just let the girl do what ever she wants, after all she was your student"

The men sigh before agreeing, making Kaurvaki smile, she set up her stand and call the children and parents to come. It wasn't long before their was a line. The younger monks asked if they could help her, but she told them they would have to ask their teacher, " I have no problem, besides she owe me lunch "

They all ran down happily to help her, one monk says " she has changed a lot, the time we met her she was so broken. But now she's at peace, she gives the people in this village hope. Her charity will not go unnoticed." , her mentor says

It wasn't long before she finish and head to the temple after cleaning herself to finally pray. She sang, making the monks close their eyes in union to listen to her tune. Once done she rang the Bell and left. They all said goodbye... while leaving she was stopped by children asking her to play with them. She thought about it before agreeing.

Ashok enters kalinga, he sees the people fighting. He ask them what the problem was.

" this men cows all over our land "

" well he told me and my family to remove our cows because their on his property. My crops are all dead, and his property is by the river, which he claim is his."

Ashok is seen under the water, when he overheard guys talking about a goddess, that live near the temple. He ignores them and continue bathing. Suddenly he heard a voice and children laughing. Irratated because he can't concentrate he remove himself out the water, showing his nudity when he saw Kaurvaki who was running in his direction.. stop and turn around out of embarrassment.

Bindu says it is time for Sushim to get married. If he does, maybe he will be more at ease and be more responsible. Charu thought about it before agreeing. She says she will choose such a bride that she will born strong children.

A young women saw Sushim about to hit an old men for bumping into him when she stops him. Her face covered preventing him from seeing her.

Sushim was beyond angry. Not only did bindu gave ashok the task he was suppose to do, now if ashok succeed he will definetly be in his father good grace. He punch the tree out of anger... unaware of bindu watching him. Bindu asks Charu, why Sushim is so angry all the time. Charu says " it's because you don't show him enough love. Your always giving all your time to ashok"

Bindu quiet, thought about it. " then I will make amand "

Charu curious turn to her husband " how will you do that?"

" I will get Sushim married"

Charu gasp " married... why?"

" with him married, he might be more at ease, and will get all the love he needs. Showing his mature side." He turn to Charu " will you help me find that person for our son"

Charu quickly got over her shock, and put her hand on his " of course, I will find such a bride that she will bore my son strong children" she says determine

Bibdu smile thinking, that should keep her busy until I find the source of her magic.

Sushim on the other, left the small field. He had to meet one of the land lord that live in kalinga. While walking in the market, he was unaware of an old men pushing a wagon full of fruit. He was to busy thinking of how to ruin ashok success that he didn't notice the men slip, making his fruits fall on the floor.

Sushim stop thinking when he felt a shove, making him slip on one fruit and fall. People stop afraid , Sushim in anger look at the short old men, who was shaking. He got up and raise his hand to hit him, but was stop by a hand. He look at the bangle hands, before looking at the person. The person had a hoodie covering her face, her hair in a pony tail, and her outfit look like a commoner. " hey sadu, didn't some one teach you not to raise your hand on an elder" she says

Sushim raise a brow " sadu?... do you know who you are speaking to"

The women smile " of course, im speaking to a snobbish men dress in sheep clothes. Acting like he's God himself "

Sushim was not amuse, never had someone, non the less, a female disrespect him. Well except for ashok friend...what was her name...kaurwaki!, but still to be insulted in public, was something he does not take lightly. " you should be mindful of your words commoner"

The lady smirk " should I take an advice from someone who has no respect, or honour. Or should I teach you a thing or two" she says thinking, Sushim was about to respond when someone came for the lady. The women dress in royalty look at the two, " I left you for one second, and already your touching a men." , they both look at what she was talking about to see the lady hand still on sushims.

They both quickly let go, before Sushim roll his eyes and walk away from the scene, but before he left he glare at her " you will pay for your disrespect"

The lady cross her arm before saying " can't wait sadu!" , she laugh when Sushim was finally gone. The women frown " why do you always pick a fight with the maurya , your father will be very angry if he finds you speaken with the eldest son"

" don't worry, I won't get close to Sushim. I will just hurt his heart, after what he did to father"

The lady gave a non approval expression " he told you to let it go, it was an accident."

" how can I... father is paralyzed because of him. I won't let it go, never" she says stubbornly

" Ahankara-"

" I know I know, father always see the good in people. Should I do the same, see the good in someone who will never change"she questioned

Her mom smile " you can try "

" fine, but if he ever push my button I will cut of his nose"

Meanwhile, ashok was on his horse heading to the field, where the issue was. When he reached there he saw farmers fighting landlord. Some injured while others dead. He could hear he scream and shout. " leave my land!"

" yeah, let's throw them out"

" we should all calm down

" our children sick, we need clean water from the river "

" get them!!"

Ashok hearing enough, shout, getting their attention. He walk towards them and they all wonder who he is. He stood in the center, before telling them that Bindu sent him to solve this matter.

The two opposite parties step up. Ashok asks them what happens, why they are causing chaos and involving other civilians. The farmer spoke first " lately our crop have been bad. Our grass is dead, my cows usually wonders to another field which is close by the river. He is trying to prevent my cows from eating and drinking.the farmer yells

The landlord angrily spoke " it's my land, every time I wake up I see his cows by my house, I hear them mooing preventing me and my neighbors from sleeping. They also wonder in the city. I've asked him many time to control those animals but he just laughs in my face" he finished

" that's a lie!!"

" no it's not!!"

" let's throw him out!!" The people scream

Ashok silence them, he thought about it. Before telling the farmer if he was gonna run a business he should have better control over his animal. Hearing this the landlord smile, but he frown when ashok says he shouldn't be stingy because that's his neighbor and family. The river people use, it just happen to be near his house. Ashok says he has no control over it. The farmer nod.

" so I've made my decision. Until the farmer grass is green again, we will make a fence near the river, so the cows won't enter the city and other land"

The landlord frown " but that would mean half of my land would cover it"

" exactly, this is just temporarily until his grass is restore. Kalinga should be peaceful, everyone should help one another and consider each other family, isn't that another reason people move here" he says, making people stop their aggression. They all look apologetic, " were all family here, so helping each other shouldn't even be a problem. I shouldn't have to come here, and solve this. When I know you all are quite intelligent"

The farmer and landlord look at each other before apologizing

they all thank ashok for reminding them of their moral. Ashok smile " I will stay for a week to see the progress, then take my leave" he says everyone praise him while he left on his horse. Ashok on the other hand, decides to walk around, he saw many children playing, and people chatting happily. He wonder if this is what peace feels like.

He walk by the mountain area with his horse, he saw men resseling in the mud. Ashok staid and watch, once it was done, he decide to leave, but stop when he heard a female laugh, and voice. He look around the hill and trees, but saw no one. He turn back to leave when a young boy bump into him. He apologize before running away, ashok look at his clothes now taint with mud, and decides to wash up.

he search for a stream, but instead found people leaving the waterfall. Ashok approve before going commando. He walk in and clean himself. Then he went under the water thinking about Bindu exiling him. He heard some guys talking about a goddess, living amongst them, but he ignore trying to clear his mind and erase everything. He suddenly heard foot steps, and children laughing.

" im gonna get yah" the voice said

" no you wont im fast like a horse" the boy says proudly

Ashok tried to ignore them, but the voice kept getting louder, and closer. By that time everyone had left exceot for ashok. Kaurvaki enter the water while trying to catch the children. They splash her making her laugh, she ran towards them, not knowing ashok was in that direction. Ashok now, cant concentrate remove himself from under the water, surprising not only kaurvaki, but the children.

Ashok was about to yell at the intruder when he stop and stare. His heart started drumming, while stareing at her. They both look at each other before, kaurvaki blush and turn when she realize ashok was naked .

Sushim asks the men to burn it all.

" who are you?"

" what do we do now, our land is completely destroyed"

sushim sees ahankara teaching in a small hut, and watches her. when she took of her hoodie, he was infatuaded by her perfect beauty.

Ashok enters kaurvaki house, but stop when he felt a sword on his neck, " one more step, and you will die"

Ashok surprise smirk, " i thought someone that follows buda teaching shouldnt do violence"

" well im an exception" she replied

Ashok grab the hand with the sword, and spun her. Making her almost fall, but he caught her in time.

" become my women" Sushim says, with confidence. Ahankara blink, before walking pass him, but Sushim held her hand " I'm serious " he says

I'm surprise people are actually reading it lol... But thanks for your comment. I was one of them that write ashwaki stories, but i had to stop cause my computer broke and i never finished the two.

Ashok mesmerize continue to watch her, he observe her figure and long hair. One of the boys Kaurvaki was playing with held his laugh " hey uncle, stop staring or you might catch something" he says, Kaurvaki told him to shush before blushingly dragging him away from the water.

Ashok quickly snap out of it, and ran out the water, telling them to wait, but stop when they disappeared. His horse nah, and ashok told him he will see her again. The horse move back and nah again, and ashok grab his clothes from his horse. He quickly puts it on and grab the horse rope to search for the girl. He search but couldnt find her. it was getting late, and ashok was getting tierd.

Upset he sat down the temple steps. " we will have to sleep here for the night. We cant find anywhere else to sleep." He tied the horse near the tree before leaning by the tree to sleep. He slept until the next day. Ashok woke up to his horse nahing, and moving back. Upset he opend his eyes to scold the horse, but stop when he heard singing. He shush the horse to listen. ashok turn when he heard some of the monk boys running up the stairs. " hurry up, before she finish praying"

" im coming , wait for me" the shorter one says

Ashok curious follows them, but before he did he told his horse to behave. The horse shook its head, " i will take that as a yes", he walk up the stairs to see the monks behind a girl. He move to look closer, but instead kept getting shoved. Ashok wasnt pleased, he could feel his anger building up. When the prayer finished, he watch as the girl turn around. He soften seeing her face, " beta, why do you still attend the lessons even though youve completed it."

Kaurvaki smile " its because where ever life takes you, or where you go... you never stop to learn. I feel like i have a long way to go. Besides, i fear that this peaceful moment will end and my past will come to hunt me"

The main monk touch her head " if you ever feel that way or fear something...meditate, to clear your mind" he says

Kaurvaki smile before taking something out "whats this?"

" the food i promised"

The monk laugh before taking it. He bless her before turning around. The kids frown saying what about them. Kaurvaki says she has some food for them too. They followed her out with their bowls before kaurvaki gave each of them food. Ashok lined up as well, kaurvaki was so busy giving food tht she didnt notice ashok. ashok frown when she didnt look at him.

the monk children told him to go already since he got his food.ashok while sitting by the tree was sulking. while eating he waited before getting up when he sees her walking away. " excuse me!"

Kaurvaki stops... and raise a brow " yes?"

Ashok brush his hair while stumbling for words. " I-i w-was W-wonde-"

" look if yoou dont have anything to say stop wasting my time" she says annoyed. Ashok glares at her rudeness. " from afar you look like a nice girl, but i judge to quickly" he says before turning to leave. Kaurvaki scuff before walking away. While walking ashok felt the tug again. He thought, why does it feel like i know her. He turn back, and ran towards the direction she went.

He asked some people if they've seen a girl wearing white with her hair tied in a knot. They point to a house by the river, not to far from the temple he just came from. Ashok walk to her house, and stop in front of it. He was about to knock when he realize the door was crack open. He walk in observing everything. The house wasn't anything special, just a chair, table, a room that led to the bathroom and of course their was a flower pot near the wall.

He wonder how someone as beautiful as her could live a simple life like this. I mean the village people practically worship her. Ashok was to busy thinking, that he didn't see Kaurvaki walk in, she took her sword out silently and points it on his neck " one more step, and you will die"

Ashok smirk , he had heard her walk in , but decide to play along, but he didnt expect this. " i thought someone that follows buda teaching shouldnt do violence"

" well im an exception" she says before saying " your different from the other mens that tried sneaking in my house. And you dont look like one of kalinga men's, so who are you?"

Ashok was impressed by her observation. " your right, i arrive here yesterday for business, and i have to say i love kalinga already" he says hands still up

Kaurvaki soften a little. When ashok felt the sword drop a little, he grab the sword by the hand, and spun her around. surprising her and almost making her fall, but luckily ashok grab her on time. her hand was grasping his arm, while starring at him, and He was looking at her too... with his hand around her waist. Which he realize was very slim. " are you OK?"

" y-yeah...thank you" she says

Ashok quickly let her go, when he realize he was still holding her. Their was an awkward pause, Kaurvaki secretly observes ashok, while he did the same. They both look away when they caught one another stareing. " why did you come here?" She says breaking the ice.

" I heard their was a women, whose beauty matches a goddess.. so I wanted to see for myself."

Kaurvaki curious asks " did you find that women?"

Ashok nod while looking at her. Kaurvaki heart thump a little seeing his expression " who is she?"

" you" ashok says

Kaurvaki laugh, making ashok heart skip. " me? Thats new... why would anyone think that"

Ashok look at her like she was crazy. He thought, is she joking with me... is she so oblivient to the fact that God gave her such beauty, that other women would wish to have. " no one has ever told you how beautiful you are?"

Kaurvaki thought about it " I honestly don't pay attention when they complement me. So why should I care now"

This time it was ashok turn to laugh " you are a really interesting person Mrs-"

" kaurubaki"

" kaurubaki?" He repeats

Suddenly some kids walk in the house " Kaurubaki!! Come quick the fields on fire" he says in a hurry

Kaurvaki surprise ran out the door, follow by ashok.

Sushim was out patrolling when he saw ahankara holding lots of scrolls, while running. he asks her if she needs help, she ignores him. Frowning, Sushim made sure his horse push her making her fall on the floor " SADU!" She screams, making him smirk

" how long are you going to keep watching me, Sushim?"

" until, you become mine?"

" why should I do that?"

" because I like you, that's why I want you to become my women", ahankara blink, before walking pass him, but Sushim held her hand. " I'm serious"

" I refuse"

Jagannath has been depress ever since Kaurvaki left. He blame himself for what happend. He knew he should have told her when she was twelve, but he was afraid. Afraid that she might leave and hate him, just like now. He remember talking to the council about making Kaurvaki their daughter, the council refused to write her in their royal book. They told him, she can never be royalty and to give the child up.

Kaurvaki mom had cried saying she refuse, the council said only your son will be name the next king. He will only be known in the book. Jagannath curse them before leaving. Now in the present, he wonder what his daughter is doing and hope that she is alright.

In the palace, Bindu wasn't fond of Devi ..and he had showed it countless time, he didn't know why ashok would marry a merchant daughter. He watch her talking with Dharma, and frown, " I will have to show her, that she doesn't fit with our kind.", Devi feeling eyes on her turn to see Bindu leaving. She wonder why he was watching her.

Dharma seeing that look, asks if she's worried for ashok. " yes, I haven't seen him for two days... and he hasn't contact me, I hope his OK and the people of kalinga not causing him to much trouble. Dharma smile " ashok is strong, he will succeed at anything life throws at him, don't worry to much" she says

" your right" she says before helping Dharma with her medicine.

Elsewhere, ashok and Kaurvaki left the house. She was running when ashok stretch his hand, " come, this is faster" , at first she didn't want to, but she gave in when ashok says to hurry. Kaurvaki grabs his arm, making ashok lift her up. She sat in front of him while his hand made it's way between her in a hugging position. Kaurvaki tense, she suddenly rember the time her ashok made her ride the horse, in the same position. Her heart thump just thinking about it.

She could feel it, the friction, the heat...radiating from being to close to ashok. She felt safe for some reason and that scares her. When they reach the place, ashok got down, and was about to help her out of curtasy when she jump off the horse. She ran pass him checking to see if anybody was hurt. One lady cried saying her son was playing in the field, and his stuck in the fire.

As soon as she said that they heard a shout for help.

Kaurvaki grab a bucket to pour on herself and go in the fire and when she saw ashok running in the fire. She calls after him, but he ignored her. Ashok searches for the boy until he saw him next to a baby cow. He was holding onto the cow, protecting it from the fire. Ashok quickly ran to them. He told the boy to hold on while picking him up, he says " men like us shouldn't cry, we should be brave like a warrior" , the boy nod, and watch as ashok Dodge some branches that fall.

One accidentally, burn his arm, causing him to bite his lip, but he continued. Kaurvaki was praying that ashok and the child get out alive. Just then, she saw a figure, follow by a shadow... and at last ashok. She sigh with relief, and ran to them. " are you OK... how is the child?"

Ashok says " I'm fine, and so is the child and cow"

He turn to the mother and put the son in her arm. She hugs her son, and thank ashok. Ashok says, he just did what was best he says " we have to remove this fire"

" how will we do that, the field is big"

" we just need some help" he says thinking

" i got it , the elaphants near the forest, we can use them"

" great idea "

They ran to the forest before grabbing basically all the animals, then with ashok guidance they brought them to the river to gather water and took them to the fire. Kaurvaki told her people to contribute as well. Which they did... it wasn't long before the fire was out. Everyone cheered with relief.

The villagers thank ashok and asks for his name, he says chand. Everyone cheered for him, but the landlord says " what will we do now. Our land is destroyed... how will we work, and earn our money."

Ashok thought about it, " this is the time to start fresh... help each other relocate to somewhere resourceful for both his cows and your home. You can work together to start a business, I will help to find a land that is no where near the city, but at the same time close."

The people agreed to this, Kaurvaki says " who are you?"

Ashok says he is chand. Kaurvaki roll her eyes, she was about to thank him for his help when she saw his burnt hand. " come with me" she says making ashok raise a brow, " I need to treat that before it gets swollen and nasty"

She took him by the riverside and tend to his wound. Ashok just stared at her. Kaurvaki feeling uncomfortable says " can you not stare... your making me uncomfortable "

" can't one appreciate the beauty in front of him" he says

" I am nothing special... just a girl who help sells fish in the market to make a living "

" someone as skillful with a sword, would never be plain. You sure your father wasn't a swordsmen "

Kaurvaki laugh at the idea, " I assure you if he was i would have known"

When she was done, she turn to leave, but ashok grab her hand. She asks him what he was doing, and he says he has no where to sleep. He says " can't you let a commonner stay with you for few days"

Kaurvaki snatch her hand from his " are you aware of what your saying. A women , non the less unmarried... allowing a strange men to stay with her."

Ashok says "what is the problem. You will be helping me greatly. Its not like we harbour feeling for one another"

" I refuse"

Ashok watch as she walk away, he brush his hair and sigh. He says back to sleeping outside again. While walking to his horse, the village head stops him. He says what is the prince of Patna. Doing here. Ashok says he came by the order of bindu to stop the oppression. He says he will be staying for few days. The men says he welcome him, as long as ashok don't cause trouble for his people.

" I assure you, nothing will happen"

The men asks if he has somewhere to stay. Ashok says no, but then thought of Kaurvaki. He smirk, and told the men he will be fine.

Sushim was very angry while patrolling , it was early in the morning, he found out his plan to ruin ashok failed. Not only did he put out the fire...he had made the people come to respect him. He gallop down the streets, making people run away out of fear. While passing he saw a women, running with scrolls. Her hair swishing back and forth, while her face was covered with silk. he made the horse walk a little slower, before coming near her. " where are you going so early in the morning"

Ahankara, slowed down. She look at him and continue her walk. Sushim frown " I ask you where are you going?"

Ahankara, took a deep breath " I heard you, but I don't need to answer to you"

" are you not aware of the fact that I can kill you"

" I am, but I'm not afraid. "

Sushim jumps down frown his horse and held the rope. " those scrolls are heavy, hand them to me" he says trying to play nice. See ever since she stopped him from hitting the men, Sushim had been intrugue by her spunk. He realize he want her, but he would have to play nice in order to get her. He gulp saying he will try.

Ahankara didn't like Sushim arogance, and the way he speaks to her. She told him she would rather suffer while carrying these then to Get his help. This anger Sushim, " fine!!" He says getting on his horse, before leaving he made sure to push with his horse making her fall on the ground " SADU!!" She screams, but Sushim just gallop away smirking

Meanwhile back in the palace, when Devi got news of ashok victory she ran to tell Dharma who was teaching vit some moral lesson. " what's wrong Devi?"

" ashok, he did it."

" I knew he would do it, I never doubt for a second "

Vit happy says " bhai is the best, no one can be better then him...well except me" he says

Dharma laughs " if you want to be greater then ashok you will have to study these." She says handing him some books, Vit frown, but opened it anyway. Devi says it won't be long now until ashok come back, she says blushing.

Vit teases her about ashok, making her hit him on the head. Dharma told Devi to leave now so her son can study. She told her to start preparing ashok room for when he comes back. She excitedly nod, and left while thinking of ashok.

Charu was in her room doing black magic again. She had promise to find the perfect girl for sushim...and that's what she attend to do. she add some spice in the fire, and grab her rock. She close her eyes saying a chant to find the perfect girl for her son. The fire blaze before it started spelling a girl, from a small kingdom. Charu was happy to see this, she says the name chanda before seeing a beautiful girl putting the bird back on the tree.

Charu says she will invite her right away. Curious she says will ashok take the thrown. She close her eyes getting a vision of ashok sitting on the thrown, and next to him we're his queens. And then she saw Kaurvaki walking to the outstretched hand of ashok. Upset by this news...Charu throw the stone on the floor. She shook her head saying no. She says " ashok can never take the thrown. It belongs to sushim, it's his right to have it." She says

She got up, to think. Pacing around...then she remember the girl that walked to ashok side. Charu could see the love nd affection their... the same love she sees in bindu eyes for Dharma. Suddenly she had an idea, she says " before I do this I must find out who the girl is".

Ashok woke up to the sound of people shouting, he stretched and sat up. Then he walk down the stairs, he saw people selling stuff...putting stuff on the boats taking it to the ship. Children playing, and other stuff. He walk around observing everything, before stopping when the chief calls him. " good morning asho-..i-i mean chand"

" morning" " is it always this busy? "

The men smile " of course, this is one of kalinga trading spot. Many foreign comes here, so we always have to be prepared."

Ashok frown, he wasn't fond of foreigners coming to India. He knew they had foreign alliances, but thats only for business. Ashok watch a men passibg by while talking to a commonner he says " I need about twenty elephant, in exchange for gold and silver"

" then you came to the right place"

Ashok didn't know how to feel seeing this. Kalinga had a lot of connection with foreigners and to see them prosper like this. Is a threat to patna. He wanted kalinga to be under Patna. He says if kalinga is under his control, he could do many and his home won't need to worry about financies. He ignore what the men was saying about kalinga history, while thinking of a plan to get kalinga under his control when he becomes king.

Just then ashok notice kaurvaki, she was dressed in black pants and shirt running around. Curious he wonder what she was doing. The chief stop talking when he realize ashok wasn't paying attention. He turn to where he was looking at and smile " oh yes, she's always up helping the people. Every morning, she help catch fishes, set up the stands, direct foreigners and even negotiate with them."

Ashok says " she's a powerful women, for someone so small. It makes one wonder if she's really a commoner "

When he said this the chief nervously frown, but he quickly smile before ashok could notice. Ashok walk towards Kaurvaki, who was now conversing with the ladies. He heard small talks like marriage, children, and work. Kaurvaki says " when that men comes in front of me, I will know his the one"

Ashok walk in front of her, and cleared his voice. The ladies giggle and one says " well theirs one right now"

Kaurvaki roll her eyes " I don't see anyone" she says cutting the fish

Ashok frown, but sat next to her anyway. The ladies look at one another saying ashok is very handsome, they asks if he has anyone he likes. " yes I do"

The lady cooed. " who is it?"

" she's very beautiful, and has her charm. She talks way to much, but I like her that way" the ladies awed

" she is lucky then to have you" one says

Ashok nods thinking of Devi, but then turn to Kaurvaki. " what about you?"

Kaurvaki was about to say no, when she accidently Cut her finger. The girls jokingly says cutting your ring finger means she was going to be betrothed.Kaurvaki asks if they actually believe that. They nod, she says they believe in superstitious stuff to much before getting up to wash her hand. Ashok seeing this got up. Kaurvaki says " don't follow me"

" I'm not... I'm simply enjoying the weather"

Kaurvaki didn't by it one bit. She walk to the small lake to wash her hand, when she saw ashok behind her. " yes?!"

"I've. Been meaning to ask you...have we met somewhere before"

Kaurvaki half turned while bending. " if we had met, I'm sure I would have known"

Ashok says he's never wrong. He says her voice sound familiar. Kaurvaki denies the idea of her and chand meeting. Ashok moves closer this time he bends down and calls her name. It wasn't like the usual teasing and happy voice. It was serious, and she couldn't help, but to shiver. When she turn to look at him, her heart started beating, making her feel warm.

Neither one wanted to look away. They both felt it, the warmth, the electric. ..their soul calling for one another. It was like they can see right through each other. Ashok watch as her cheeks turn red, before looking away. Ashok calls her name again, and she turn around. He surprise her by carressing the finger that was cut, making her stomach get butterfly's. He cut a piece of his sash and wrap her finger.

Kaurvaki was going to draw it back, but ashok held on to it. Making her eyes wide , " since I will only be here for a short while... won't you show me your heart"

" what?!"

Ashok laughs nervously before saying " I don't know how I know this, but I feel that you are not this cold person. Just like the time I saw you playing with those kids, and helping at the market. You we're truly happy, that's why I want you to let me in...show me who you really are."

Kaurvaki turn away " you don't know anything chand. The last time I open to someone I was abandoned by that person... hurt and crushed.that's why I hold back to the possibility of loving again. So I beg you, don't ask me to open old wounds"

Ashok let her hand go. He wonder who could have hurt her so much that she would build a wall in her heart. He says if it was him he would never let someone so interesting like her go. He got up and says in his head that he will just just have to earn her trust.

Just then ashok heard soldiers coming, they we're moving so fast with their horse towards them. Ashok quickly grab Kaurvaki to move her out the way. It was a quick pull, but ashok forgot how strong he was. Kaurvaki didn't even see it coming when ashok pull her.

She landed on his chest, but what she wasn't expecting was to fall with ashok on the floor. She open her eyes to see her lips on his, she could see it in his eyes... how shock he was, she didn't blame him. After all she should have been more aware of her surrounding.

Elsewhere, charu found out who the girl was... she laughed at the irony. " so ashok will Marry kalinga princess Kaurvaki. What a disgrace to our motherland. Should I tell bindu... or better yet, remove ashok from the palace so he won't have a chance to be nominated", she thought about it while walking in the hall, but stop when she saw Devi.

She wasn't to happy to see her. She stops Devi getting her attention. She asks Devi why she marry ashok, Devi says because he saved her while she was learning to be a nun, and She says she fell for his good nature after. charu scoff, she says she was just like her, in love... thinking he only has eyes for her, but as soon as Dharma came, she was left behind. She wasn't his favorite anymore.

" that will be you... do you think ashok will love you forever, he is just like his father. The time will come when he meets someone that he will consider his soul mate, when that time comes will you still deny the fact that ashok will continue to be with you"

Devi smile " I have faith in ashok, I know a lot of kings marry many times. So I won't complain. If he chose to marry again, or give his heart to someone else " I won't mind because ashok will treate us equally"

" then will you bet on it, that ashok will come back in a week. If he doesn't will you leave this palace"

" I have faith in my love for ashok... so I accept " she says with determination

Charu says this girl don't know, who she's dealing with. She smile before walking off to meet chanda who will arrive shortly.

While sushim was skimming with siamak, they heard a carriage. Siamak quickly roll the map before leaving. Sushim watches the carriage, but stop when he heard a scream. Turns out the driver was dead, and the horse was speeding fast. Sushim ran to reach the handles before jumping on. He pull on it, and the horse stop. He got down and open the carriage to see a women dress in royalty crouch down while shaking.

" are you alright?"

The girl look up at him with tears. Sushim was surprise to see a pretty women. He was even surprise when she hugged him and start crying while thanking him. Sushim didn't know what to think of this. But he suddenly got an idea when he saw ahankara, walking by. He says " everything will be alright...your safe now"

She stops crying and thank him. She asks for his name, and he says Sushim. The girl eyes became wide before smiling. She told him her name is Chanda, but sushim wasn't paying much attention. He was upset when ahankara disappeared not even sparing him a glance. He sigh before telling one of his guard to take her to where she was going, before getting on his horse to follow ahankara.

Helen begs bindu to forgive her, and asks to give her one more chance. She says if not for her, do it for his late father.

Ashok after reading the letter says " I won't let anyone have her" he got on his horse and went back to kalinga. When he arrive he went to her house and kidnap her

When Charu saw chanda. She took a liking to her. She got to know many things about her while waiting for Sushim. She check the time before frowning, Sushim should have been here by now, what could he be up too...she thought. Chanda told her she doesn't mind waiting after all he did save her life. Confuse Charu asks what happens. And Chanda retold the whole story, she says she would be happy to marry him.

" I'm so happy to here that, Sushim could be a little hand full... he just needs someone that can show him how to love. And I think you are that person Chanda, please be patient with Sushim, he has temper problem that will be fix."

Chanda smile " don't worry, I will show Sushim that even a villian needs love", Charu laughs at this, she hope Sushim hurry up before Chanda leaves.

While this was going on, bindu summon Devi. He says that through out his blood line all his family have been special. He says that's what made our blood line strong. He says his happy that ashok found love in her. Devi smile thanking him, but bindu wasn't done. He says because he neglected ashok and didn't raise him in the palace he made some wrong decision.

" and what would that be? " she asks

" he has soften, and shows weakness."

" what would his weakness be?"

Bindu turn to look at her " you... my son ashok has tainted our blood by marrying a merchant daughter. I won't be surprise if it's tainted even more by you being pregnant."

Devi taken back says " w-what are you saying right now?"

Bindu says ashok might be king in the future, if Sushim don't get his act together. He will need to marry some one of royal blood. Someone to rule everything my father and I have worked for. You being his chief queen is a laugh to our ancestors. "So I want you to leave ashok, leave this place and never come back."

Devi held her tears at bay. His word kept repeating in her head, even when she left. She went to her room and cry... she says she should have known things won't be OK. She thought Bindu had accept her, but she was wrong. She wipe her tears and pack her things. She says she will leave and go back to uujain. She says she won't force ashok to come with her.

She pack her things to leave, when Dharma came in her room. She asks Devi where she was going, but she turn the other way hiding her face. Dharma touch her shoulder and call her softly, she asks her why she pack her things when ashok is coming in two days. " I just miss my home that's all"

Dharma smile " it's understandable since your still not use to this place. But if you like when ashok comes you two can go and visit your father"

Devi thought about it, but then remember bindu words " no!... i feel more better in uujain... i dont feel safe here, so im leaving" she says

" devi please dont go , what about ashok?"

" if ashok love me... h-he will cone find me, but i just cant stay here" she says before walking out. dharma stops her, saying if shes going then she will go with her. Devi refuse the idea, but dharma was persistant. devi says she should stay with her husband , and Dharma says " when I had left him ten years ago, leaving him shouldn't be a problem for him"

She told Devi to wait while she get Vit and her stuff before they left. Charu seeing this smile, she says see how I destroy your happy life Dharma.

The next day ashok and Kaurvaki we're heading out. Kaurvaki wonder why ashok was quiet. She glance at him before looking down. She says did I upset him...his so distance towards me. Isn't that a good thing?!.. after all I don't want anyone to enter my life. An hour later, they could see the village coming closer. The children seeing Kaurvaki ran to her with flowers asking her to play with them. She told them she was tierd.

The village head told them that everything is almost complete. He thank ashok for his help, and told him that they are having a party for him tonight. Ashok told them it was nothing, but they insist he come. The children ask Kaurvaki if she will come as well, but she told them maybe later. She didn't even spare ashok a glance before walking to the temple, ashok heart pang. He says this is how it should be. He says he has no relation with her, theirs no need to feel sad.

His inner voice said unless you marry her...then you can be with her forever. ashok says what about Devi?! She won't be happy. His inner voice says you will be king some day, you can do a lot of things. Devi should understand that a king will always have another wife to keep his legacy going. Ashok thought of many reason why he shouldn't marry another, but his inner voice was winning the war. It says if you don't get her now...she will be another, then you will loose her. Do you want that?

Ashok says no, his inner voice says then let's get her. She can't refuse us, no one can. Ashok says and if he refuses. His inner voice says then we get her by force. Ashok frown by the idea. He didn't know where this greed and wicked side was coming from. He knew it won't be long before this dark side of him comes out. He hope it never does.

Kaurvaki head to her father kingdom. When she reached she remember her childhood and parents.she wiped her tears and walk by the gate. " who goes there?" The guard says

" you cant honestly tell me that you don't recognize your general voice." When she said this they all gasp before saying her name. She remove her hoodie and went in. Some guards quickly went to inform jagannath . She walk in seeing Bel holding her excitement, then follow by her mother who hugs her and cry. It wasnt long before jagannath came running calling her name. " papa" she says hugging him

They both hug for a long time before letting go. He asks her how she's been ? If she was OK? Kaurvaki nod, after few minute on catching up. Her mom look at jagannath before couphing. Concern Kaurvaki asks if she was fine. Her mom says no, she says she got news from a sear that her son might die. Kaurvaki was shock, she says how. Her mom explained everything to her. Kaurvaki didn't know how to take this, she look at her mom who was couphin uncontrollably then her dad who was pleading with her.

She told them they don't have to ask. She says they raised her and gave her love.she would do anything for them. Her mom smile, Kaurvaki says " I will do it, but I ask not as a daughter but a general to give me control over the trades that goes on in kalinga"

Jagannath was taken back. He soften before laughing " you are unpredictable Kaurvaki. Why would you want that heavy responsibility?" Kaurvaki staid quiet she says in head, if you knew that I was helping the chief with those trades you wouldn't be saying that.

" fine, I accept. I will tell them right way."

She sigh before excusing herself. When she left she wonder how chand would feel if she told him.she quickly shook the idea, before heading to her room. Bel waiting by the door, told her how she misses her and how her parents we're miserable. She Says she's happy she was back home. " Bel I'm not staying here"

Bel gasp " what...why?"

Kaurvaki sigh " the past few month I felt at ease, I wasn't Kaurvaki the princess of kalinga. But Kaurvaki the commonner, people treated me differently and I liked it. An-" she was about to talk about chand when she blush.

Bel noticed it and smile " do you have someone you like Kaurvaki? "

" I d-don't know"

" does your heart flutter when he does something nice, what about when you look into each other eyes. Does it seem like time stop "

Kaurvaki thought about all of that. She was surprise at how good Bel describe how she was feeling. Bel smile she says" your in love kaurvi, you should tell him before it's to late"

Kaurvaki heart beat. Am I... I thought I shut it. She thought of chand saving her... and carrying her. Suddenly she remember something back in the palace when she met vit. She remember vit saying his brother name. " chand!! Thats it" she says

." What is?"

Kaurvaki smile, she says fate is truly weird..Bel confuse asks what she was talking about. She told her everything. Bel happily grab her hand " it must be destiny Kaurvaki. I think chand is your soul mate" " this is so exciting, are you going back? You should tell him how you feel before he leaves"

" Bel calm down. Its just a coincident "

" no it's not, didn't you say you felt the same pull when you we're with ashok...what if chand is ashok"

When she said that Kaurvaki face got darker " don't you ever say that again. I would rather kill myself then to marry that traitor "

Bel gulp before nodding. To break the ice she says she should probably dress nice to impress chand. Kaurvaki says she's OK, but Bel insist saying chand needs to see what his up against. Kaurvaki sigh.

Few hours later ashok was talking with some men, he wasn't that much interested in their discussion. He was to busy searching for a certain someone. Some old people ask him to dance, and he refuse. He drank some more alcohol loving the taste. He says Devi would have scold him if she sees him drinking. He chuckle and drank it all. By this time some dancers we're singing, trying to dance with ashok.

Ashok half drunk, roughly grab one of them and touch them. The girl smile before removing his hand. He frown, but when the girl came back. He pulls her to him ready to kiss her neck when he saw Kaurvaki. He stop what he was doing and walk to her. Ashok had to blink twice to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

She was standing their in a pink and black saree. Her hair was out of it's knot. Busy being caress by the wind.

She tried putting some behind her ears, but it kept coming back out. She turn when she felt ashok/chand near. Her heart skipped, ashok search her eyes, while admiring how the fire reflect through her brown ones. He look at her lips to see how moist it was, he just wanted to kiss it. They knew if either one made an attempt to kiss they wouldnt stop it. Ashok touch her face with his rough hands, making her close her eyes. Enjoying the way his hands rub against her cheeks.

He wrap his hands around her waist, pulling her close. Before whispering how beautiful she was. Kaurvaki blush, she thank him and puts her head on his chest. Enjoying his warmth, ashok says in his head , I'm sorry Devi, I know this will hurt you, but I can't hide the fact that I love both of you.

Kaurvaki says Bel is right, I love chand. My heart calls for him. I will tell him before he leaves that I love him.

" I ashok son of bindusara and maharani Dharma and grandson of chandragupta maurya takes Kaurvaki as my wife" he says putting the sindoor on her head. Kaurvaki was to shock to say anything. She drop her dupatt while repeating what ashok said.

Ashok woke up the next day feeling a headache. He could hear the villagers chatting so early in the morning. He look around and realize he was on a bed. Confuse he tries to remember what happen to him, but he had no luck. He sat up to leave when he spotted Kaurvaki clothes, he wonder where she could be, and if she brought him to her house.

" I will have to thank her" , he got up and put His shoes on then step out stretching.he search for Kaurvaki everywhere, but he couldn't find her. One of the men call him asking if he was leaving. Ashok says in three hours. He was about to ask for Kaurvaki, when they ask ashok to help them with some thing's. Ashok was about to say no, but they we're persistent so he did.

Meanwhile, Kaurvaki was pacing back and forth on top of the mountain. She kept thinking about what happend yesterday night. She says, I should have told him when he was drunk. Now I will have to say when his sober. She says I might as well tell him, because I might not get the chance after I married. She nervously pace back and forth coming up with ways to tell ashok/chand. She was so busy thinking that she didn't notice ashok climbing up. " chand..what?" He says

Kaurvaki froze hearing the voice, her heart starts thumping again. She knew if she doesn't tell him now, her heart will explode and she will blurt out nonsense. Ashok /chand raise a brow. His hand cross while waiting. Kaurvaki tried to say it, but she was to embarrassed. Ashok wondered why she was all red. He took a deep breath the same time she did before making up his mind.

They both look down " you first" he says

Kaurvaki says what he has to say is probably important then hers. Ashok says OK " I was looking everywhere for you, but I couldn't find you until now. But that's not important...I'm Leaving, my time here is up. The past few weeks with you was a breath of fresh air, but I have responsibility back home...i cant forget that. I just want to say you are very special to me..and I Love you" he says

Kaurvaki was so happy hearing this. She says in head chand loves me. Ashok watch her, he moves a little closer to hold her, making her look up " I promise when I come back I will marry you, will you wait for me?"

Kaurvaki heart broke hearing this, she says I have to tell him that I won't be his after today. " chand..I'm...l'm"

" yes?!"

" will you Fight me" She says

Ashok confuse says " I just confess to you, instead of I love you too, you want to fight." He watch as Kaurvaki look away, he let her go before laughing. " you are very strange, but next time. I have to go"he says

He was about to leave, when Kaurvaki hold his hand " chand, I love you too" she says before running inside. Ashok eyes widen before he gave a goofy grin. " I promise when I come back, I will take you to my home town, so you can meet my mother" he says

Kaurvaki by the door says, "their won't be a next time chand, you won't find me here either. I will be another men's wife, theirs nothing I can do about it"

Elsewhere, the soldiers came back injured. Bindu was angry that once again jagannath Army managed to win the fight. Charu walks out asking for Sushim, bindu says " we couldn't find him, we search everywhere. Charu broke down saying, they didn't look hard enough, she says her baby is out their hurt. He needs her.

Bindu says what about her, he says if shes willing to put her life on the line especially when she knows shes carrying. Charu says sushim is her life. Why isnt he worried. Bindu says sushim has his blood, he will live. Charu, stressed cried and held her stomach . Bindu says what's wrong, she says the baby...something wrong with the baby.

Bindu quickly call the servants to take charge to the nursing room. They took her there while charu cries for her child. Bindu follow until he reach the door, they told him he can't enter. Bindu nod, he staid out pacing, while worried. When it was finally over, one of the nurses says charu is fine, but she lost her daughter.

" a daughter" he says shock, he puts one hand over his mouth while crying. He says he needs to be alone, he walk to his chamber and close it, he was upset and angry that fate could be so cruel. He says he was finally gonna have a daughter to cherrish, but he realize he wasn't fated too.

Meanwhile, ahankara was writing and drawing the different types of fruit. To make a booklet for her students to study. She walk near the river when she spotted blood.surprise she followed the trail of blood to see Sushim unconscious, he had error stuck on his body. " Sushim!!" She screams

Ahankara raced to him and enter the river colored red. She quickly remove him from the river before checking to see if he was alright. She sigh with relief when she realize he was still breathing. Even though Sushim paralyzed her father she never stopped thinking about him. Sushim was her first crush, she knew he was arrogant and mischievous, but she saw something in him.

When they parted, she was heartbroken, but she pretended like everything was fine. His effort to win her heart worked, but she couldnt tell him. When she saw him again at the market, she was conflicted, whether to be happy or angry. When he tried flirting with her she told herself not to give in yet, but now seeing him dying she couldnt fake anymore, she couldnt lie to herself.

" but sushim has forgotten me, he doesnt even recognize my face anymore. I should leave it like that, shouldnt i ?" She questioned. She remove one error making sushim cry , she apologize before removing another, this time Sushim grab her wrist while opening his eyes. " A-Are you t-trying t-t-to kill me" he says gritting his teeth.

" no, but you will die if you don't let me remove it"

Sushim stare at her before letting go, he says " make it fast"

Ahankara nod, she says this is the last one. Before removing it. Sushim screams, making her heart break. " it's alright... it's alright, I'm here. I won't hurt you" she says, she quickly calls a maid to help her take him to her room. She says her parents can't know about this. They nod, and took Sushim, he protested, but Ahankara says she won't mind dropping him in the river to die, this shut him up. Once they we're safely there, she grabs the necessary tools to heal him.

While healing him she look away when Sushim kept staring at her. The maids giggle before leaving, Ahankara thank them. Sushim says " who would have thought I would meet you in this situation. " he chuckle

" stay still please" she says

" I guess I owe you one, for helping me"

" stop talking nonsense "

Sushim smile, taking her by surprise. This was one of Sushim genuine smiles, not the fake ones he gives in the castle. She wonder if it's because he is vulnerable or because his stress free. They look at one another, unaware of how close they we're. Ahankara hand on his chest, while Sushim hands on hers.

While this was going on Ahankara mom saw the maids walking and saw blood. She asks what happen to them, and they stiff.

" did something happen to my daughter?" When they didn't answer she race to Ahankara room. She knock making Sushim and Ahankara snap out of it. She panicked, before looking at the door. " Ahankara... is everything alright? " she says

Both Sushim and Ahankara froze in place. Ahankara quickly says she was fine. Her mother says why did her maid have blood on their shirt. " I cut my hand by accident, they we're just helping me bandage it. "

Her mom frown " are you alright? Do you want me to look at it?"

" no it's fine "

" OK if you need help just ask me" she say before walking away

Ahankara waited until she was gone before , turning to Sushim. " your ahankara? " he says with such emotions " why didn't you tell me?"

She got up, but Sushim held her hand. " would it had make a difference if I did"

" yes it would" he says

" how Sushim?... you didn't remember me when you paralyzed my father, or when we met after such a long time. So how would you have remembered?"

Sushim staid quiet " I didn't paralyzed your father"

Ahankara laugh " you did, you sent your men's to attack my homeland, my father faught bravely, but at the end he was hit by your men."

Sushim staid quiet before apologizing, he says he was stupid and wasn't thinking. Ahankara says you never think. Sushim says will you forgive me. Ahankara says I already did, when my father did. She says I wanted an apology and I got it. She says she knows how hard it is for him to apologize, that's why she wants him to apologize to her father.

Sushim was taken by surprise, he told her to look at him. When she didn't he sat up and calls her name. Ahankara turn, she told him he will reopen his wound, but he ignored her and pulls her making her fall on his chest. Surprise, she look up at him " what are you doing? "

Sushim grabs her chin he says " I will apologize, you should know that I would do anything for you"

Ahankara soften, Sushim calls her name while bringing his face closer. Just when they we're about to touch lips, Ahankara slaps him. Shocking him " do you take me for a fool Sushim, those words are meaningless to you. I know you don't mean what you said, your just trying to fool me"

Sushim chuckle " smart girl, I wouldn't be Sushim if I let something like love get in my way. But there's one thing I will say, I do harbour feelings for you, it's not love, but it's something special." Sushim soften " you have always been something special in my heart, knowing that your here now, and safe brings me joy. But it's not love, it's something else"

He wrap his arm around her " I don't know what to call this feeling, I won't give it a name. I will just let my heart give it a name. Wont you do the same?" Do you really need a title for what you feel?, won't you become my women, and show me your heart." He says

Ahankara says " I never knew you could be so romantic with words "

" well..when it's with you, I feel weird, I guess I'm sick" he laughs

Ahankara smile " I guess I can give this a chance, let my heart guide me"

Sushim says then I guess I will do the same. She was about to respond when Sushim grab her face and kiss her. Ahankara puts her hand on his lap while kissing him. The kiss wasn't romantic, it was more of a hungry, yearning type of kiss. They stop for air, before going at it. Once done, Sushim holds her while she close her eyes enjoying his warmth.
