While ashok was leaving Kaurvaki followed him. She tried to be very quiet, hiding when ashok/chand turn to look around. She says even though I realize I love chand, why does my heart hurt when I see him leave. She hides when ashok/chand turn once more. She says its like I've known him for years, but that can't be right. She suddenly remember Bel words about chand being ashok.

She says in her head, it's not possible. She shook her head in denial before turning slightly to see if ashok/chand was walking, but instead found him gone. Confuse she step out and was about to search for him when she heard the voice that makes her whole body shiver . "An enemy can easily detect you by the sound of your footsteps.", he pull her making her back hit the tree before putting his hand above her head.

Kaurvaki lookS up at him while blushing. Ashok/chand looks back " those eyes look at me with so much love, is it really for me?" He says teasingly " or is it for someone else"

Kaurvaki quickly interject pouting while her cheeks redden. She grab his other hand guiding it to her lips" my lips and body is yours to take" , she then guide his hand to her chest " my heart is yours to keep...and my soul is yours forever. Your the only one I want to be with for the rest of my life" , when she said this she turn her head around too embarrassed to look at him.

Ashok smile, before grabbing her chin. " then my love is yours for all eternity " . Kaurvaki heart race, she smile while holding his hand. Ashok moves his head closer making her close her eyes before he kiss her on the lips. Both heart in sync with one another, while their soul yarn for more.

Ashok intertwine his fingers, the one she was holding with hers. Exploring every corner of her mouth. He was slowly starting to pick up the passe, making her moan. Ashok moves his body closer, letting his Harmon get to him. His dark side was telling him to take her and make her his, but he ignore it. Kaurvaki on the other hand, was overwhelmed. She knew she wanted more, but she had to remind herself that this wasn't the time.

She told herself she has a fiance, this woke her up from her daze. She let go of chand before breaking the kiss. Ashok confuse look at her, kaurvaki says " if we dont leave now, we might do something we both will regret."

Ashok understood and move back. He brush his hair and clear his voice. " your right, thank you for reminding me." He smile taking her breath away before telling her to walk with him. she nod silently before holding his hand. While walking she asks him personal questions and he answerd. Ashok/chand did the same of course. They took their time walking cherishing each other company before they near the village.

They stop and stare at one another lovingly " i guess this is where we split."

Kaurvaki nod " do you really have to go, cant you stay another day?!

" im sorry kaurvaki, but my family misses me. I was only suppose to stay for a short period, but i promise when i come back i will stay longer before i make you meet mother."

Kaurvaki sadly nods. She says in her head, I have to give chand this letter to read, I just hope he understands and forgive me. their was a comfortable pause before ashok says " won't you say the words you said to me a while back"

" theirs no need when you already know" she replied stubbornly

Ashok frown. He wanted her to say it again that she loves him, after all three is a lucky charm. Kaurvaki was about to say it when they heard the chief voice. They both let go before facing the men " chand we've Been looking everywhere for you, it's time"

ashok nod, before looking one last time at kaurvaki and leave. Both soul calling for each other, but ashok ignored the feeling, he got on his horse and galloped away. While heading out he heard a shout. He turn to see kaurvaki standing outside of the village " I Love You, Chand!!" She screams

Ashok smile, " and I love you too" he says , he watch as she ran towards him out of breath before giving him the letter. She says " please dont forget to read this"

Ashok nod and puts it in his pants. " how many time must i say goodbye "

" this isn't goodbye, but a new begining for both of us"

Ashok touch her cheeks caressing it before leaving. When he reached the palace, he went straight to his father and deliver the news. Bindu was impress, he told ashok he can leave, but ashok asks how his mother and wife. Bindu told him they left, ashok confuse asks if they went out.

" no, your mother decides to follow your wife back to uujain"

" I don't get it, I thought they we're happy here"

"Your wife was displeased with what I said about you needing someone of royalty to marry."

Ashok frown " that's no reason why she should leave, did you upset her father"

Bindu stops writing " I merely told her the truth. She can not be queen with that background. Our family reputation will be tarnash "

Ashok angry slams his hand on the desk " why would you say that father, I thought you accepted Devi three years ago!?"

"I Will Never Accept a Mere Merchant in our family" he yell raising his voice

Ashok chuckle " their it is, no wonder why mother left with vit. " , ashok turns saying he will go and retrieve them, Bindu refuses saying she is not allowed in the palace. Ashok knit his brows together " then I am not as well, since I'm half blood"

This time Bindu got up and walk to ashok " your mother was different sh-"

" theirs no difference, she's a women, caring and compationet. If she won't stay here neither will I"

" you can't seriously leave everything here... everything you work for... for a merchant girl"

Ashok turn his back to him" her name is Devi, and she's my wife" Bindu was beyond angry, he watch as ashok walk towards the door. He says if you leave this place, I won't accept you back. I will make sushim my only successor and the temporary king. Ashok stops when he said this, " my mother had always been there before you and the palace. I would give anything for her, even my right to fight for the thrown"

Bindu watch as ashok leaves, he felt abandon and alone. He walk to his seat and consume himself with paperwork. Ignoring the pain.

Meanwhile, it was dark when ashok arrives back home. Some people welcome him. He step down his horse and knock on Devi dad house. When he opens, he gasp seeing ashok. He quickly calls Devi to come, which she did of course. When she saw ashok, she drop whatever she was holding and ran to hug him. " ashok, your finally back. How...I mean why..-"

Ashok smile pulling away " calm down Devi, I will explain everything "

Devi drags him to where his mom was. He calls Dharma and she hugs him, she told him to come and eat. Vit drags ashok to the table and ashok explain everything. Dharma frown, she told ashok she fear for his father life at the palace. She says she kept having dreams of his death and sushim made king. Ashok says sushim will never be king.

Later on that night, while ashok was getting ready for bed. Devi walk behind him and hugs him. She told him he should have stayed with his father. Ashok touch her hand, " I wouldn't be comfortable with myself knowing you left because of father. Your my wife the one that showed me how to love. I appreciate everything you've done, I will not stand any disrespect on you and your lineage."

Devi was touched, she puts her head on his back saying Bindu is still his father. Ashok says he maybe my father, but he shouldn't try to control my life. Devi remove herself from him and grab his face " I missed you a lot"

Ashok says the same, which was true. Like he said before he love both girls, they we're both unique in their own way. She leans in surprising ashok and kiss him. Ashok swiftly carries her to their bed while kissing her. That night they showed how much they cared for each other.

Over the weeks sushim has been getting comfortable with ahankara, things we're looking good for both of them. He would sometimes wait for her before taking her home, and she would stay with him in a small house he bought. While walking and talking with ahankara he bumped into someone, " I'm sorry" the person says looking up " sushim?"

" you?!"

Ahankara confuse wonder who she was, the same could be said for chanda. She asks sushim if his mother was around. Curious sushim asks how she knoew his mom. She says charu called her to meet him...her fianc.

." Fiance?" Ahankara says

Chanda looks at her before nodding, she was about to ask who she was when Ahankara walk away. Sushim quickly snap out of it and excuse himself before running after her. Chanda confuse wonder what's going on.

" Ahankara... wait" he says

Ahankara ignored him and continued walking. Sushim says he didn't know, he says Chanda must be lying because he would have known. Ahankara stops " that's not the issue here sushim, your betrothed, do you know what that means" she says

Sushim staid quiet " your out of my reach" she says

" don't say that, I'm sure if mother sees you and I explain she will cancel the engagement"

Ahankara turn to him " she won't sushim...you know as well as I do that your mother hates me. She would never accept this"

" then I will make her accept you" Ahankara had an unpleasant look " I can't see you anymore" she says before running away

Sushim heart was torn, he says in his head " I won't let this end...you will see me again, mark my words"

Elsewhere, ashok came from work. He saw Vit reading a paper, curious he asks what he was reading. Vit hides the paper, ashok grabs it and read it. He says the village is having a race for brothers. Vit nod, ashok says why didn't you tell me.

Vit looks down " you we're busy lately so I didn't tell"

" we are brothers, we should be able to tell each other anything, and help each other."

Vit apologize, ashok laughs " now I see, you want the bow an arrow."

Vit quickly got excited " yes bhai, I really do!! "

" then be prepared we will win this together"

Vit hugs ashok with excitement before saying ashok is the greatest brother ever, and we will definetly win. Dharma and Devi smile seeing this " their relationship is really close"

Dharma laughs " yeah, ashok spoils him a lot. Lets hope they stay like this forever" she turn to Devi to see her holding the table while feeling dizzy, Dharma asks if she was fine. She says she's just tierd. Devi walk to her room to rest, this concern Dharma.

Ashok was about to go in with Vit, when acharya walk to them. Ashok told Vit he will meet him inside before walking away. " I have news, sushim is dead"

" what! Thats not possible" ashok says

Acharya says it's the truth " when your father tried to attack kalinga. Sushim was hit many times with arrows, falling in the river. They searched everywhere , but theirs no signs of sushim"

Ashok was trembling " if no one found his body, that could mean his alive. Sushim would cheat death himself to get the thrown. He can't hide for long" ashok says

Acharya thought about it, before agreeing " I will look into it" he turn to leave, but stops to remind ashok the time is near to take the thrown."

" I know sushim isn't the only one I will have to fight for the thrown. Fathers other children will want it too. When that time reach I will kill them all".

Back in the house, Dharma walk the stairs to call Devi, for dinner. When she didn't answer she tried again, but still nothing. She saw the bathroom half open and walk in to see Devi on the floor wipeing her mouth. " Devi?..what are you-"

" I'm sorry, I've been throwing up lately. I don't know what's wrong with me"

Dharma blink before asking If she was craving anything, she told her what it was. She asks if she's feeling weak or noze, she nods. She asks how long she's been feeling this way, she says a week ago. " why didn't you tell me?"

" I didn't want to worry you, besides if it was just a stomach flew I was just going to brush it a side " Devi looks at Dharma who was thinking " do you know what it is? "

Dharma smile " your with a child" she says

Devi surprise fainted, Dharma calls for her, but she was unconscious. She calls ashok and when he arrives she told him to take her to their room. Ashok asks if Devi was fine, Dharma says yes, " she was just feeling lighheaded, when she's better she will tell you"

Ashok confuse wonder what Devi wants to tell him.

The next day, sushim waited for Ahankara close by the hut she teaches. When he saw her, he quickly ran to her getting her attention . " Ahankara, please listen" he says

" what?"

" I will go and tell that girl that I have special feelings for you" Ahankara, cross her arm before walking away telling sushim not to follow her, sushim frustrated walks away sulking. After her teaching, she was heading home when she saw Sushim sitting by the trees again, she pass right by him, but stop when sushim grab her hand.

" let go"

" no"

" sushim!"

" I won't let go until you become mine"

" so now your trying to force me" she says getting angry

Sushim says if that's one way of her becoming his then yes. Ahankara glares at sushim, " you haven't changed at all" she says before removing her hand. She starts to walk and sushim follows, she turn and asks " how long are you going to keep following me?"

" until you become my women"

Ahankara walk to sushim ready to kick him, but sushim quickly close his legs. She stops before saying " I refuse"

Devi decides to spend sometime with ashok to tell him her news.

Ashok was restless, he got up from his bed when the letter fall. he reads the letter , and Angrily put his clothes on and left forgetting about the letter.

Helen says get in charu good grace, and you will find the source of her magic in her room.

" how can sushim be dead, when I saw him a week ago with a women", this surprises charu " my sushim alive"

The next few days Devi couldn't stop thinking of ways to tell ashok. She was nervous ..yes. she saw Vit and ashok walking back excited, dharma asks " did you win"

Vit showed his new bow and arrow " bhai was amazing. He really showed whose the best. When I almost fell while climbing those rocks, he quickly grab me while his legs we're tied with rocks and climb me up the hill."

Dharma smile " you must have had fun, now it's time for your study session", Vit groans at this but complied.

Ashok seeing Devi so quiet asks if she was alright. Devi jump a little before looking at ashok " ashok.i-i w-was wondering if you would like to spend a day with me?!"

Ashok blink before accepting. He walk inside with Vit while Dharma told her this was a good opportunity for her to tell him. Devi agrees.

Elsewhere, Somewhere in the mountains seven people we're sitting down, they each we're dressed differently, well some of them we're. Siamak look at the six before talking " I'm glad to see each of you in the same room without bloodshed."

" what's the meaning of this?"

" yeah, I traveled here leaving my family behind"

" fifth prince right, why are we here... and where is elder brother?"

";you haven't heard? " third prince says

" heard what?"

" our beloved brother Is dead"

Some of the prince laugh " you can't believe that, sushim is not to keen on dying"

A buff person at the near corner says " I never liked sushim, he was always fathers favorite"

" your wrong second prince, father favorite is ashok" third prince said

One of the prince reading Look up " you mean the barbarian. Chand?" Fourth prince said

" what?!.. ashok is chand? ..." they all said

" ashok don't scare me, I will take the throne because I'm fit and I have the physic that a king needs" second prince says

Third prince laugh " yeah, but you lack knowledge, so I will be king"

" you both wrong, father will make sushim his successor " fifth prince said

Siamak was getting a headache, "Enough! " he says " we all want the crown, but that's not why I brought you all here." He says

All the prince stayed quiet except the six prince who was listening the whole time " you should mind your tongue Siamak, after all your not fathers son, but our cousin. Watch how you speak" he says with full authority making the room quiet

Siamak really hates the six prince, his always reminding him of why he can't have the thrown. He look at the six prince whose eyes we're close. Of he remember correctly, his mother was a high general, in China. Bindu was impress with her so he married her. But she couldn't live with him, so she staid far away from the castle. He is very intelligent and skillful, Siamak wonder if he could really kill ashok.

He look at the fifth prince, he was tall. He was another Greek descendent he has a gentle face, but he is very cruel. He does his work silently wiping any trace of his foot prints.

Siamak turn to fourth prince, who look bored. He was busy reading again. He doesn't know much about him, no one takes him seriously because besides ashok.. his mother was a skilled nun. Bindu was mesmerize by her eyes and skip with medicine that he married her. Fourth prince has the same eyes like his mom, no one has seen him pick up a sword or kill a person. They sometimes wonder if his really Bindu son.

Siamak look at the third and second prince, they are polar opposites, but their brothers. The third prince is very cocky, he believes he deserve it more then anyone else because he was promoted as a priest when he was younger. He thinks he can see he future, and says Patna will be in good hands if he was king. Half of his prediction has come true so far, he is what people call the lucky one.

And lastly second prince, their mother was another princess from a kingdom, just like charu. She is wicked, and manipulative. Thats where second prince got it, he kills even when they look or disobeyed him. He doesn't do mercy and will kill even child. Siamak says in head, he will have to be close to him, and then once his almost their kill him and take the thrown.

" ashok is getting closer to the thrown everyday. Sushim has tried to get rid of him, but it's not enough. We have to work together to kill ashok, and then we can kill one another for the thrown."

" ashok can't be that good to Dodge every obstacle sushim throws at him" second prince says

" yes he is, his our greatest enemy"

" then I will handle him" third prince says

The second laughs " oh please, what good will you do"

" I say we wait for sushim, he knows ashok more then we all do. We will also need his brain if we want ashok gone" fourth says

" I agree" six says

" how long will we wait, you forgetting sushim might be dead" fifth says

" then third what is your guess on sushim being alive" fifth says

" his definitely alive" he says

" their you have it, when sushim comes back we will plan " six says, they all nod Siamak wasn't please, he really hates when six acts like he run everything. He says darkly, he will be the first I kill when I become king.

Elsewhere, ashok and Devi we're on the horse enjoying their time together. Devi leaned back while ashok puts an arm around her stomach. They enjoy the quietness, letting the sun bath on each other. " ashok, do you ever wonder what would have happend if we had met differently"

Ashok thought about it " I would probably be fathers general still angry at him."

" why angry?"

" because of him not believing me"

Devi puts her hand on his hand, " then I would be learning to be a nun"

" father would have sent me of to uujaini. And their I would have met you and ask you to be mine"

Devi smile " and I would refuse"

Ashok turn to her " why refuse?"

" because you would still be angry with the world "

Ashok stops the horse when they reached a nice apple tree. He got down and hold the rope " if you refuse I will come again until your mine"

Devi turn before grabbing his extended hand " then I will make you promise me something "

Curious he says " what would that be?"

" to not fight or she'd blood"

Ashok held her hand " if I don't kill , they will kill me"

" you either listen or you don't" she replies

While they walk to the tree, Devi almost trip holding her stomach. Ashok grab her before she could fall. " then I won't fight, I rather be injured , so I can marry you"

Devi thank him and they sat under the tree " and I will wonder where my general went"

Ashok grab some apples to give to her " I will be coming to you for healing "

Devi imagine that scenery " and I will be touched and heal you"

" then will you marry me?!"

Devi nods, ashok says why bring this up. " it's because even though our destiny was written differently, we can write our own for someone else"

" whose?"

Devi looks away shyly before grabbing his hand and puts it on her stomach " our child "

Ashok eyes widen " your with a child...our child?"

" yes ashok, our child"

Ashok hugs her before kissing her forehead " you have made me so happy Devi. I will teach him how to weild a sword, and fight like me" , when ashok was saying this Devi look down while frowning. She says in head, I don't want our son to fight, I don't want him to weild a sword. I don't want him to kill innocent. Thats not the world I want him to live in, she thought

" Devi? Are you alright" he asks

" y-yes" she says

They spend few more hours enjoying the weather before heading back. Devi says, I can't let ashok introduce my son to his world. Its to dark, and heavy. I have to protect him... even if I have to go against ashok.

It was late at night ashok was having nightmares. It was him, killing everyone before being pull down into clear water. When he couldnt breath, he got up gasping for air. He wonder what it could means, he kept having the same dream over and over. While getting out of the bed, a letter falls from his pillow.

He look at it and realize it was from kaurbaki. He smile just thinking about her. Remembering what she told him when he pined her to the tree's. He open the letter and starts to read.

Dear chand, I should have told you this before, but I was to afraid, I know... what your thinking someone as brave as I am, afraid to speak. But that's not the case, the week with you had been wonderful, but i should have told you this before confessing. I have been lying to you, about my name, Im sorry, I just wanted a new start. You see, I ran away from home. The monks found me and decided to give me a new name.

Please don't hate me for this, my name is kaurvaki, I was the princess of kalinga by title.

Ashok eyes widen. What...my kaurvaki...was kaurbaki this whole time... how come I didnt recognize her? This whole time, she was in my reach, but I couldn't put two and two together. No wonder I felt it that pull. Ashok heart was racing, he wanted to cry out of happyness. Could she be the same girl I met before in nirankush castle? ... it had to be her, my heart was crying for her as we'll. " my kaurvaki" he mumbles smiling before reading.

The reason why I'm writing is to tell you that I'm betrothed to the prince of kalinga, I made a promise to my father, to protect the prince from his I'll fate. So I can't be yours... I can't be your wife, please forgive me for giving you hope. I hope you understand that my family needs me, you will always have my heart.

Ashok crumble the letter, he was beyond pissed. His inner voice says " didn't I tell you that she will be taken from us, now do you see reasoning"

Ashok says I won't let her become someone else's. She belongs to me, and only me. His inner voice laugh evilly. " then why don't we get her and marry her." " if anyone interfears kill them"

Ashok darkly agrees. He got up and put his clothes on. Then he grab his sword. Once dressed he left forgetting about the paper that fell under his bed.

Earlier , the soldiers arrive at kaurvaki house. Bel came out with. Kaurvaki dressed in bridal attire. " you are so pretty kaurvaki, the prince will never let you go"

Kaurvaki staid quiet, she looked like a lifeless doll. Bel sadly puts her in the carriage before getting in with her. " I know your depress, but you couldn't help it." She says " Chand will forgive you, and if your ment for each other, it will happen"

Kaurvaki eyes cloud before tears came out " chand " she whispers, " please forgive me" she says, they walk for many hours before stopping for the night. The soldiers made tent for her to sleep in. Bel says she should rest, while she search for food. Kaurvaki nod, before going in. She laid her head on the pillow before sleep took her.

While sleeping she was unaware of ashok coming to their camp,and killing the soldiers that prevents him from getting her. When he entered her tent, he put the sword back, making blood drop on the floor. He silently walk to her before picking her up " my kaurvaki " he says longingly, he puts her on his shoulder making her stir.

" Bel are you back yet?" She says sleepily

When she got no respond, she look around to see herself of the ground. She turn half way to see a men covered in blood. she couldnt really see his face because it was dark. She scream, but ashok quickly tape her mouth and tied her foot.

He walk out heading to his horse. Kaurvaki could see the blood dripping , each step he took. She scan around to see her soldiers dead, her eyes widen , their heads and body was chopped off. It was butcherd , chopped in peices. Kaurvaki says what cruelty, how can a person do that. This is not humane. she says crying, she was so shocked that she passed out.

Ashok put her on his horse and ride away. He was determined, but where could he be going. the sun was rising, but ashok didn't stop. He rode until he was near an abandon temple. He grab the priest that was tied and release him. He told him to start the ceremony. The priest seeing the blood on ashok quickly start chanting.

Ashok grabs kaurvaki, and made her sit down by the fire. Both unaware of the diya kaurvaki had lighten before swaying. The priest told him to do the rounds which of course he did. While doing that kaurvaki starts to awaken, she look at the priest in daze, before looking at the fire blazing. Confuse she look at ashok and was surprise " chand" she mumbles , but ashok didn't hear her, he was determine to marry her.

" what's going on?, why are you here? " she asks, getting a headache but she still got no reply

When the rounds was done, the priest told ashok to take his vow, ashok told her at he will give her everything she needs, and will love her for all eternity. He says even if they we're to recarnate, he will never stop loving her. His heart will recognize her easly. Kaurvaki hearing this.. heart speed up, she says somethings not right, this is chand, but why do I feel unease.

Elsewhere, Bel came back only to see blood everywhere. She was shaken with fear. She quickly ran to kaurvaki tent calling for her, when she saw no one she panicked. " kaurvaki... she's in danger, I need to inform jagannath before it's to late. She quickly left the tent, running, heading to the nearest village to get help.

Meanwhile, kaurvaki was finally awake, she was still tied up by her foot and her mouth was taped. Ashok puts her down so she can stand. She watch him making her heart skip. Chand, you came for me? But why this way...why didn't you just go to my father, why did you have to kill those people. She look at him, but she couldn't find the warmth she remembered seeing in his eyes. You are chand...right?... why does it feel like your someone else.

Ashok look at kaurvaki, his heart soften. Kaurvaki saw it, she sigh with relief, that's my chand. But that was soon over when ashok became angry again, he told the priest to give him the kumkum before he applied it on her forehead , the priest quickly told kaurvaki to do the same. She hesitate, ashok says don't you love me.

Kaurvaki ressures Herself that she was marrying chand. She grab the chandan tilak and applied it on ashok forehead. Ashok knew he was doing everything backwards, but he wanted her to be his. He says even though his mom is not hear to witness this, when he bring her back, they will marry properly with her concent.

The priest said it was done, but ashok says this is not enough sindoor, he says I want it to be shown to the whole world that she is mine. He told the priest to hand him the kumkum which he did, he put it on her hair loom before saying with determination " I ashok son of bindusara and maharani Dharma and grandson of chandragupta maurya takes kalinga princess kaurvaki as my wife"

Their it was, the reason she was unease, her chand...wasn't her chand...but instead ashok, her past... the one who betrayed her and left her. The one that mocked her love, ashok, the men she promise to hurt. He was one with her chand. Kaurvaki fell on the floor shock. Tears we're coming out, she was to afraid to touch it, even when the voice called her name, and bend down to wipe it away she did nothing.

Her chand, she says remembering the time she met him . ..up until he declare she was his wife. " takes kalinga princes kaurvaki, as my wife...my wife...wife" that's all that kept repeating in her head.

Elsewhere, the diya kaurvaki lit had finally turned off, what could that mean? What will happen to the two who were destine to be together? How will Dharma and jagannath react to this? We won't know Until next time, bye: )

Ashok was on his horse in thought. He wonder if kidnapping her was the right course of action. He is usually in control of his emotions, he just didnt understand why he fell into it. He look at an unconsious kaurvaki and soften. He says " we are finally married kaurvaki, destiny has once again unite us. This time I won't let you leave."

Kaurvaki starts to stir, when she open her yes the first thing she saw was the ground moving. She look around until she jolt up remembering what happend. She look at the hand holding her making her heart race. When she saw ashok... she cried. She turn half way and starts to hit his chest, telling him to let go. " calm down kaurvaki, I won't hurt you"

Hearing this infuriate her " you've done that already"

Ashok look on guilty " I'm sorry I didn't tell you who I was, but I'm not the only one at fault. You lied about yourself too"

" shut up...shut up!" She says

She told ashok to stop the horse, he asks why, but she gave him no answer. " stop the horse" she says, ashok stop the horse, he asks why she's so angry at him. He says if it because he married her than his not sorry. He says when everything is good they will do the right ritual with their parents by their side.

Kaurvaki remove herself from him, before jumping down. Ashok asks " where are you going?"

" anywhere, as far away from you"

Ashok was now confused, he was sure she love him. He just didn't know why she's being so hostel towards him. He turn and jump of his horse. He told him to stay , before running after her. While kaurvaki was walking, she stepped on something sharp , she ignored it and continue moving. She through all her jewlieres and wedding stuff, while remembering ashok.

She tried wipeing the sindoor, but it wouldn't go away, it was still there. " she's an idiot, that always cause trouble for me. you actually bellieve some one like that would mean something to me." The voice said

" I love someone else, and her name is ahankara "

" we are not friend's, or lover, but instead an enemies from another land"

Kaurvaki fell while walking remembering those words over and over. She cover her ears trying to get it out of her head, but it wouldn't leave. When she heard ashok calling for her, she quickly got up and ran, ignoring the pain on her foot.

Thirteen years ago

Kaurvaki went in her room after fighting the soldiers. A young Bel says, " are you really not gonna find ashok and speak to him?"

Kaurvaki lay on her bed, and starts to cry " why should I, he gave me to my father. When I wanted to be with him"

" that's no reason to give up. You should try speaking to him once to hear his reason"

Kaurvaki look at Bel " no Bel, ashok doesn't want to see me. He didn't even turn once when I was leaving. "

Bel frown, she didn't like the way she was behaving " the kaurvi I know wouldn't give up so easily, she would have found a way to see ashok until she get her answer."

" your right Bel, but where will I start looking. I heard ashok left Patna. How will I find him?"

Bel smile " leave that to me" she says

it wasn't long before they found ashok location. Kaurvaki told her, the prince is coming today. She says how can I leave when he expect to see his sister. Bel told her she will handle it, she told kaurvaki ashok will be at the market to get stuff for his mother. She says she should hurry before he leaves.

Kaurvaki thank her and quickly sneak out of the castle. She says ashok will have to answer to her, once she finds him.

Meanwhile ashok reached the market area. People we're running away because sushim was angry. He wanted to get back at ashok for leaving the scar on his face. So when he found out ashok was close by he left the castle in a hurry. Ashok, look around until he found what he was looking for, by that time sushim and kaurvaki both we're looking at him.

Kaurvaki was bout to step forward, when sushim pull his sword, and put it on ashok neck. The people gasp, while ashok turn around. The anger was back again. He promise he wouldn't kill sushim, but he was planning to hurt him.

" didn't we band you from entering Patna, why show your ugly face here" he says

Ashok smirk " I would have thought my warning was clear, but I guess today you brought your own death upon yourself "

Sushim out of anger attacks ashok, but ashok Dodge making him smash the stand instead. Sushim turn around and swung at ashok, but ashok Dodge each of them. " your like a wild beast, no one love you. Not father, or that kalinga girl "

" isn't that why she left you" he says cockily

Ashok told him to shut up if he doesn't know anything. Sushim says " I can tell she's your weakness, I will come after her, and kill her right in your face."

Ashok remove his sword, making it clang with sushim. They both push one other, trying to get the upper hand. Kaurvaki was trying to get close to them, but people kept pushing her. She says " ashok is in trouble, I have to help him", she pushed people out the way, but it was no use. She frown looking for a d ifferent route, when she found a small area fill with food.

She crawl towards it, just when ashok landed on the table. Sushim laugh, but ashok quickly got back up with the help of his acrobat. .ashok says " I think you got me wrong sushim, kaurvaki is neither a friend or my lover, but instead an enemy from another land. She's an idiot that always cause me trouble, you actually believe someone like that could mean something to me" he says

Kaurvaki in hideing was trying to hold her tears. So at the end father was right, ashok, never cared about me. She thought.

Ashok laugh before remembering something, he smirk cockily at sushim " besides, I love someone else, and that's ahankara " when he said this kaurvaki whole heart shattered, she silently walk away, back to her home. Back to where she knew she wouldn't be in pain. She just didn't want to see ashok anymore.

Meanwhile, sushim now was angry " don't speak of her from your mouth...ahankara is my women."

"really then should I take her from you like how you took me from my land." Sushim attacks ashok once again, but ashok was ready. He duck and jab him on the stomach and was bout to cut his arm when the soldiers came blocking him.

They told him, bindu will be angry if he hurt sushim. Ashok scream in anger and put his sword back. " how long will you coward behind father... if anything your the pathetic fool", ashok turn and walk away ignoring sushim scream. While walking he says sushim almost got me, luckily I sent kaurvaki back to her homeland. If he knew she was another weakness, sushim would have come after her to get to him.

I can't put her life in danger. I won't involve her in my battle because she's my dear friend, my precious person, he says smiling, ignoring the rain that starts to fall.

Meanwhile, the prince drags Bel to the courtroom. He throws her on the floor " who is this father? I found her laying down in kaurvaki bed, pretending to be her.

Jagannath look at Bel whose head was down. He asks Bel where his daughter was, but when Bel refuse to speak he raised his voice. Scaring her, Bel was about to respond when kaurvaki now drenched in rain walk in. " I'm here father"

Kaurvaki mom quickly walk to her asking, if she was fine. She sadly nods, Jagannath says " where did you go? Why are you so depress? "

" I was washing away loose ties. And now my mind is clear" " may I be excuse " she says

Jagannath nod before kaurvaki calls for Bel to come with her. While walking Bel asks her about ashok, but kaurvaki told her to drop it. She told Bel to never speak of ashok to her again, because they are neither friend or lover. They are enemies of different land. Bel disturbed wonder what could have happend.

Ashok was getting frustrated. He says " where could she be? Why did she run away from him after their finally together", he stop when he spotted blood. And panicked when realize it could be kaurvaki's. Determine, he followed the trail leading to the river. He saw her getting up, and calls for her " kaurvaki?"

"Leave me ashok"

But ashok wasn't planning to. He move closer and call her name again, but kaurvaki move back. She was unaware of being close to the edge. She was to busy glaring at him. afraid, afraid of her heart, and ashok. Ashok move forward to warn her, but kaurvaki moved back causing her to fall in the river. She scream for help, while trying to get out, ashok quickly jump in and grab her. She held on to him for dear life while shaking.

Ashok ressures her that everything will be fine. He told her he will never cause her harm, and will protect her. They both stare at each other. Kaurvaki could feel it her soul calling for ashok. All this time, it was ashok her heart yarn for. She could easily give in and continue to love ashok, but his words still hunts her.

She look away breaking their eye contact. Ashok puts her down, he scold her for leaving and remind her that the area is dangerous. He told her anyone could have kidnapped her. Kaurvaki says " it's to late for that, since you already did the job"

" look, I already said I was sorry, can't we just get over it and move on"

Kaurvaki angry says " Your right, I will pretend that you kidnapping me didn't happen. I will also pretend we never got married. Then I will go home and marry the prince"

Kaurvaki turn and start walking. Ashok follows her " you don't mean that "

" I do, this is a nightmare ..that I need to wake up from"

Ashok grab her hand , pulling her to him. he sadly says " i dont get you, you were so happy to be with me, but now all you want to do is run away. Tell me what did i do to cause such hatred"

Kaurvaki soften a little seeing the look. " you dont know? Are you joking with me right now"

" know what?"

Kaurvaki jerk her hand away before telling him everything. Ashok was surprise , but he quickly interrupt her. " i didnt mean what i said then, sushim was going to hurt you. I didnt want him to know how important you were to me."

" lies"

"Listen kaurv-"

ashok stop when he heard noises. He search around , but didnt see anything. Kaurvaki seeing his expression calls his name, when ashok didnt say anything. She told him she was leaving. Ashok says if she leaves he wont come to save her. " i can take care of myself"

" fine"

.they both went their separate ways, to stubborn to turn back.kaurvaki while walking, accidently step on a trap. Causing it to pick her up upside down. She tried holding her skirt, so it wouldnt show her legs, but it was a struggle. She was about to call for ashok, when she stop. She refused to utter his name. She turn when she heard a sound. She look to see a buff men coming out. He was smiling at her, before calling his men.

" is she the one" he asks

One of the soldiers nod. The men walk to kaurvaki before bending down to look at her " you are a pretty one, its to bad i will have to kill you" he says before saying " unless you call my brother ashok"

Kaurvaki eyes widen. Many thoughts were running through her head. But she got over it and glare at the men. She says " if you want ashok, then get him yourself, i want nothing to do with him"

The prince smile, he likes her spunk, but he hates people who look him in the eyes. He told his man to build a fire around her, he says we will see how long she can keep quiet. Kaurvaki eyes widen. She was getting dizzy from being upside down. In her head, she was calling for help, she didnt say ashok, but she didnt have too.

Ashok was walking to his horse. He stop when he felt unease. " somethings not right, I should probably go and look for her" he says, it wasn't long before he went back. He walk to the place he last saw her, and call her name. He walk further down until he saw Kaurvaki running. He was surprise when she grab his hand and told him to run. " what's wrong Kaurvak?"

He stop to look at her, before demanding to know who ripped her clothes. " we don't have time, his coming "

Confuse ashok says who. Suddenly a man bleeding from his eyes walk out angry " you btch, I will get you for this" he says

He turn to see ashok, and laugh " Nice to see you again brother"

Ashok asks if he did this to her. The man mock and tease him. He says after he kills him, he will kill her. Kaurvaki scoff, ashok says, " I have no I'll treatment towards you. Leave now "

The men refuse and attack ashok. Ashok side step. And remove his sword. They we're at it, throwing hits after hits. The prince slash ashok on his side, making Kaurvaki heart race. But that didn't stop ashok. It wasn't long before Ashok realize how slow the second prince was going. Ashok use that to his advantage and knock him on the floor. The second prince roll over when ashok was about to stab him. He got up, but ashok kicks dust making it enter his bleeding eye.

The men move back screaming. Ashok Didnt waist no time. He swung and cut his legs off, making the prince fall. The prince now bleeding uncontrollably says " you will wish you we're never born, when they come for you...ashok." he says couphing. Blood. Kaurvaki was surprise at how quick it ended. She wonder if this was the same boy she had loved.

Ashok turn around with blood covering his face. He had some cuts and wounds, but he ignored it and walk to Kaurvaki. He asks if she was fine, she silently nods. He smile before fainting on her. Kaurvaki says " what should I do, with this heart of mine. It won't stop beating... I want it to stop" she cries, while holding him.

Bindu has been restless ever since ashok left. While working on some treaty, a guard told him that his mother wish to speak to him. He decline, but the guard told him that she wants to make a bargain.bindu was upset, he says how dare she demand something when she has no say he got up and walk to the chamber. When he arrived, Helan smile " nice to see you again your majesty"

" what is it you want to say to me?"

" it's been three years, I have repent for my sins. How long will you keep me here?"

" until you die"

Helan frown. " won't you forgive me for my sins, if not for me, but your father the late king "

Bindu thought about it, he says " I will only do it, if you help me find the source of charu power. If you help me then I will send you back to your home, until I said it's fit to come back"

Helen sigh with relief. She thank Bindu, before telling him in order to get close to her source of power, charu needs to be distracted. She says her power is in her room. You find it, she becomes weak. Bindu nod before leaving.

Elsewhere, ashok open his eyes to the sound of bangles. In daze he open his eyes to see Kaurvaki in the corner praying. He watch as she got up with her hair down, before going out. " where am I?" He mumbles looking around. His eyes widen when realize he was in the place Kaurvaki took him. " so that means I'm back to odess " , he chuckle before sitting

When Kaurvaki came back she drop the cup full of milk. She walk to him before putting her hand on his shoulder " you shouldn't get up"

Ashok raise a brow " and why not?"

Kaurvaki points to his injuries. " how did I get here? Last time I check we were no where near odes"

" I found travalors passing by and they offer me a ride. "

Ashok nod, before realizing something. " your not angry!?"

" i was, but when I went to the temple, all my anger washed away." " my teacher says what happend was intended to happen. But Now the question is where do we go from here"

Ashok held her hand, " we start from where we left off, Before I gave you up. I am your ashok... and you are my Kaurvaki. Our story just began, and we will end it in a good term."

Kaurvaki smile, she grab the extra milk she had and hand it to him. Ashok held her hand and direct the cup to his mouth. They both stare at one another full of love. Ashok drinks the milk and almost choke, worrying Kaurvaki. He stops her from worrying by caressing her other hand. When he was done, Kaurvaki was about to take her hand away when ashok held it again. He says " I love you " , Kaurvaki blush and look away, while ashok wait for her to reply back

She look up, but stop when she saw milk all over ashok mouth. She starts to giggle . Ashok wasn't pleased " are you mocking my love?" He asks

Kaurvaki look at him, she says " I wasn't...its just, you have milk on your mustache area."

." Milk?", embarrassed ashok tries to remove it. He manage to remove half, but the milk was still their. He asks if it was gone, Kaurvaki says no. He tried again, but still nothing. Kaurvaki calls his name. She surprise him by removing the milk on his face.

Ashok realize how close they we're, if he move just a bit, their lips will touch. He suddenly have the desire to kiss her,but he knew they will need some time before that happen. Kaurvaki move away, and told him she has many things to do.

Ashok says when he is well he will help her. Kaurvaki says " I have to meet my father, he must be worried"

Ashok staid quiet. He knew it won't be easy for her, after all he married her when she was betroth. Ashok told her he will come with her, but she denies it. She says it's her battle, not his.

Ashok told her it will rain soon, Kaurvaki says she will be back before then. She got up, but ashok pulls her back and kiss her forehead " be safe " he says, she smile before getting up to leave. When she left, ashok became tense, he wasn't stupid, jagannath might be calm right now, but he will not take this news lightly.

Meanwhile, charu reached chanda house. Their she told chanda that sushim was dead. Chanda says how can he be when she saw him a week ago, with a woman. This surprise her. Charu asks if she was sure, and she nods. She questioned sushim, wondering why he hasn't contact her, but she soon became angry, saying she will have to remove who ever that girl is. So sushim can get his head in the game.

Elsewhere, Kaurvaki is seen walking, she stopped when she heard her name being called . " kaurvi!!?"

She turn to see her maid/friend Bel. She walk up to her with tears , asking if she was OK. Kaurvaki ressures her that she was fine. Just than bindu walk in the clear. He got out of his horse with his wife and embrace her. " Kaurvaki, what happens to you? Where did you go?" Her mother says

Kaurvaki had tears in her eyes, " ma!" She says

Her mother wiped it away, before asking her what happend. Kaurvaki stumble for words. Jagannath says " Bel said their was blood at the camp, all of our soldiers we're killed. Who did this, I will take care of it"

Kaurvaki panicked in the inside, she says father can not find out it was Ashok. If he does then he will stop at nothing to make sure ashok is dead. Even declaring war. " Kaurvaki was about to respond when her mother notice the sindoor on her hairloom. Surprise, her eyes widen. She starts to shake and couph.

" why? " she says.

Kaurvaki apologize to her, she was about to explain when bindu raise his voice " after everything we did. Raising you and making sure your happy. You go and do This"

" that's not it father" she says with tears

" is this the punishment I get, for the sins I committed."

" don't say that father, you did nothing wrong. I am to blame, I shouldn't have married him.I was wrong, please forgive me"

She tried to touch her father, but he moved away in disgust. Kaurvaki look at her mom, who was shaking controllably. She says " what about the prince, his future...our land. It will be destroyed. What will we do" she screams, jagannath. Told her to calm down, but she wouldn't.

Kaurvaki told her, that won't happen as long as shes alive. Her mother told her she can't change destiny. She says if she wants to help them then she will forget her husband and come with them to marry the prince. Kaurvaki eyes widen. She remember ashok words, " be safe", what should I do ashok, she thought staring at her parents.

Chapter 24

She call their name, telling them to move aside. They sadly told her " the king has order them, so they cant move" kaurvaki sadly turn, she says she will leave. Bel calls for her, but she ignored it.

End of flashback

Ashok was feeling unease, he got up and held his side. " I have to go to her. " he mumbles, he step out in the rain, heading down. He almost slip, but he caught himself. Once he was down, he walk to the village, until he reached the temple area. Their he saw Kaurvaki, he sigh with relief.

" Kaurvaki" he says walking to her

She stops to look at ashok, " I have nothing left ashok. They left me, they released any claim they had on me. Who am I...I'm. No ones child, I'm no princess, or general. I feel so empty ashok. I have nothing to live for"

Ashok grabs her and hugs her " don't you dare say that, you are Kaurvaki. My wife, you have me to live for. I won't go anywhere. " he held her face before saying " we will start our own family, and have many children so you won't be alone."

Kaurvaki held on to him before ashok kiss her. This time it wasn't a hungry kiss, this was more gentle. Ashok lift her up bridal style and carried her to her old house, not the cave he was in, but the house near the temple. They could hear the sound of bels, but they both ignored it. When ashok reached he opens the door ignoring the pain on his side.

He gently puts her on her bed, before sitting down. Kaurvaki saw the blood resurfacing from the bandage. She told him to hold on and search for things to clean the wound. When she came back, she circle her hand around his body to remove the bandage . Ashok just watch her in daze. She blush, while fidging. Once it was remove, she cleaned it and wrap a new one. Ashok calls her name, telling her to look at him.

She looks Up with blood she'd eyes. Ashok moves down towards her, making her fall on the mat shaped bed. He once again kiss her, but she worriedly told him his wound will reopen.

" don't worry about it"

" but asho-"

"Kaurvaki" he says

.she looks at him " hmm"

" be quiet "

When he said that, he went back for another kiss. This time letting his heart guide him. They both gave in to what their soul wanted. To be in union with each other. Neither wanted this night to stop. They continued until morning, before ashok pulls her to him, securing her from danger. Loving how perfect she fit in his arm.

Meanwhile, dharma was cleaning the house. She went in ashok room to sweep when she saw something under the bed. Curious she grabs it and read the letter. She was shock at what she read. " ashok do you know what your doing" she says frowning. She quickly puts the note away when Devi calls for her. She says in head, I see destruction coming because of your decision. I won't let it happen, I won't let you be with Kaurvaki. She says determine.

All four prince included siamak were at the funeral. Bindu was extremely upset. After the ashes we're scattered, Bindu says " I want to know who did this, who killed the second prince. " he says " that person will be killed "

All the prince we're quiet. Six prince says " father, we didn't know. But I assure you we will handle it"

Bindu calmed down, charu told him.he needs a break, she says the princes are strong and intelligent, they will find their brother killer. Bindu grab her hand and walk away. See it's been three days since his talk with Helen, charu is starting to believe he only has eyes for her. She's starting to melt . Bindu says it won't be long before he destroy her.

The prince's we're at their usual spot after the funeral. The third prince was angry. He slam his hand on the wall " some one dare to kill my brother. Just wait til I capture them. I won't show mercy " he said

." Calm down third prince, your brother has always been quick to get into trouble. Now he brought his own downfall." Fourth says

The third glares at the fourth " are you saying he deserve what happens to him"

" I didn't say that, but your the Priest. Use your luck to find out who killed your brother" the fourth says boredly

The third says " I don't like your tone. Keep talking and I will show you why I'm never wrong "

Siamak says in head, these prince are so annoying. Where is sushim so we can get this party started. He says frowning.

Elsewhere, after many effort sushim finally managed to make amand with ahankara. They we're on good terms. But you know how it is, good things never happen to bad people. Sushim and ahankara finally got intimate. One minute they we're at each others throat and the next, they we're making out. One thing led to another, and they connected. Sushim told her that he would leave everything behind for her. He says he will stay near her home town.

yes life was good. That was until charu saw them. She was furious. She surprise sushim while he was waiting for ahankara, and scold him for not seeing her. She told sushim how she had lost his sister out of stress because of him. Sushim apologize, he told charu he was finally in peace. He says he doesn't want to be king. He wants to get out of the castle and live his life. Charu hearing this was appauled.

She told sushim, that if he doesn't get his act together then she will not only die, but will blame him for his sister death for the rest of her life. Sushim told her she doesn't mean that, he says his mother can do what ever she wants, but he won't leave.

Charu upset says " I have to do something about that girl, sushim must take the throne, I won't let ashok or his decendent take it"

Meanwhile, Kaurvaki opens the curtain to let light in. She turn and smile looking at ashok. She calls his name, but ashok turn the other way, to cover his face from the sunlight. " ashok" she says going to him and bending down. She calls his name, but he turn facing her this time. Her eyes shine with love. She touch his eyebrows tracing it, before moving to his nose then stop at his lips.

Suddenly she remember what happend three days ago.

Kaurvaki eyes open, while feeling secure and warm. She still couldn't believe they consume their marriage. She blush remembering ashok sweet words and touch. Her stomach suddenly got butterflies. She stop when she recall what happen to her and her family. Sad, she starts to cry, she made sure she was silent so she wouldn't wake ashok. She cried for her mom and dad, and her fate.

Ashok feeling her shake, open his eyes. He calls her name, and she quickly stops crying. Ashok asks if she was OK, when she said yes... he could tell she wasn't. He turn her around to face him. She close her eyes so he wouldn't look at her dead in the eye's. " Kaurvaki look at me" he says

But she refuse. " Kaurvaki!" He says this time she opens.

Ashok told her it was OK to cry, he says after today she won't cry anymore.he says he will make sure to hurt anyone that makes her cry, including him. He wipes her tears and says, " I don't want you to think of the past, just think of our future"

When he said this, Kaurvaki sniffs. She look at him and he look at her before they kiss. Pins her down, and showed her what their future will be like for all eternity.

End of flashback

She gave him a Peck on the lips before calling his name. When ashok didn't answer, she did it again, but still nothing. Just when she was about to go for another round ashok woke up smiling. He grab her and pulls her to him. Wrapping his arm around her waist " if this is how you will wake me up from now on. Then I am excited for the future"

Kaurvaki playfully smacks his shoulder while calling his name. She told him to let go. Ashok challenges her " and if I don't?"

" then I will not share a bed with you"

Ashok says " that's more reason to keep you close" , he nuzzle her neck, making her laugh, before missing her cheeks. He whispers the three words Kaurvaki wanted to hear, and she did the same. they Both wish this day could last forever and never stop. But all good thing have to end some how.

After cuddling, ashok finally got up. He look at Kaurvaki who puts a small amount of sindoor. On her hairloom, before hiding it. This confuses ashok. " why are you hiding the sindoor? " he question.

Kaurvaki smile " no one knows that I'm married to you, what would they say if they suddenly see chand coming out of my house and the sindoor. They will connect the dot and rumors will spread all around."

Ashok frown " that's the whole point, I want the world to know that you belong to me"

Kaurvaki says " I don't want your enemies to know you have a weakness. Thats why I understand what you said thirteen years ago. That is why I forgive you easily. I don't want to be used against you, that's why I want to keep this a secret until theirs no more enemies "

Ashok didn't like it, but he understand. If he was going to be king, he wouldn't want to put his love ones in harms way..he will also have to protect his mom and Devi. Ashok told her it will be hard for him, but he will try. He says when their alone she will have to be his loving wife and spoil him.

Kaurvaki says " this sindoor shows that I'm yours, then what about me?" She asks " do you belong to me?"

Ashok wasn't expecting that.he was about to respond when their was a knock on the door. They could hear children calling Kaurvaki name.Kaurvaki smile , she open and the children started talking all at once. Kaurvaki told them to slow down. One of the boys says " Kaurvaki, I heard you we're skilled with sword "

Kaurvaki raise her brow " and who told you this?"

The boys said people we're telling rumors. They told her to teach them a few tricks. Kaurvaki says they are young children, they are living a happy life. If they touch a sword then their fate will revolve around that sword. The children sadly frown. Ashok seeing this decides to interfere. " I can show you a few tricks"

The children eyes widen with hope. Kaurvaki refuse asking ashok what he was doing. Ashok told her nothing will happen to them, he whispers in her ear. " you are no different from them. Don't you remember when you beg me to teach you."

Kaurvaki staid quiet, ashok told the children to head to the backyard, he says he will come. The children with excitement quickly ran. " asho-", she never finish when ashok gave her a Peck on the lips, before quickly saying good bye. Kaurvaki smile, " your always trying to please people. Stupid ashok"

Meanwhile, ahankara was on her way to sushim small house when she was stopped by charu. This wasn't the first time. Charu once again threaten her, telling her to leave sushim. Ahankara says until the day sushim himself wants her to leave, then she will stay. Charu told her, she love her parents a lot. She says right now bindu favors her, so if she tell bindu to start a war with her homeland, he will do it. She says " do you really want to risk that for a men"

Ahankara tense, but she told her that her threats won't work on her. She says bindu is a smart king, he wouldn't fall for that. Charu smirk " you are a stupid girl, stay away from sushim, or you will get it" she says before walking away.
