I don't watch the serial regularly but my mom watches this show with great interest.

Are they going to end Bidusar's character?

But in Wikipedia it is said Bindusar in the later year will leave the throne to Ashok and go to pilgrimage.

God it is so confusing.

I dont think he will die now.

Because if he does, then there will be a huge rift between Ashok and Sushim which will delay the leap.

I don't think Bindusar will be shown dying, as according to history Bindusar dies of old age illness.
Now that Ashok has realized that Siamak is helping Unani's, they will either show Ashok killing Siamak, or trying to expose him in front of every body. Bindusar will also not pay attention to Ashoka's words as he too saw Siamak fight against Unani's. Though Sushim too doubt's Siamak but to prove Ashok wrong & prove that he is better choice to be his father's heir apparent than Ashok, will again talk against Ashok.

It's my first time visiting this forum, as I do not watch this show all the time. My father however, loves CAS, and I love to watch it with him whenever I can. I do not feel that Bindusar will be killed. There's a lot that Bindusar needs to know. You have also written in your post that he goes on a pilgrimage. That could very well happen. He might find out the truth behind the death of Chanakya, Sushim and Rani Charumitra, and Siamak. This will probably sadden and upset Bindusar so much that he could not see the enemies within his own palace and doubted Ashok so much. This realization could compel Bindusar to leave the throne and seek pilgrimage. I believe if I remember correctly, Chandragupta also sought pilgrimage, but if my memory serves me right, it was because he sought higher spirituality and left the throne to Bindusar.
