that was the period, when his character was taking shape and we accepted him that way... A guy who is bitter with his rivals , but good to those who has caused no harm to him

then suddenly makers thought, hawww how come our VILLAIN is getting some LOVE frm viewers! We gotta malign him... So they hv now made his character the way it is right now

ok so he is bad with Ashok, ahankara and dharma... Wat about rest of the household? His interactions with Bindu, subbu, drupad or his friends can be shown to show the other side of personality. But the INTENTION is not to show such stuff... they want him to be hated, so that they can justify his ultimate defeat later.

i want someone for him, who'll accept him and love him despite knowing his darker side 😃
