Quite interesting episode.
Chanakya and his spies r brilliant. Thank God Helena didn't know the truth and that sainik was killed before he could spill the beans.
The precap has me worried.
Ashok's roar of pain and anguish!
God knows what she told him.
I think she said that Samrat tried to kill him and his mother or perhaps his father.
Any idea guys?

Kind of. Sushim apologized to the assembly and Ahankara was shown looking at him (in my mind she was disgusted). My guess is it's the third strike for Sushim so who knows what future lies for Sushkara.

That's what I was wondering. But if the woman mentioned the army I don't think Ashok will agree to become the senapati.
And as per history, he does become the senapati.

I think the.cv's will follow this way. Ashok doesn't find out the identity of his father only gains another reason to hate him. It works and fulfills the cv's dramatic masala.
God, when the truth comes out, Bindu is gonna have a hard time.

Another brilliant episode.

The precap is mindblowing. Ashok aka Sid and his anguish and rage...

Loved how Chanakya stalled the stupid or smarty sainik.

The old woman will ofcourse tell him the army destroyed his home and the attempt on their lives...So he will join the army to find out who did it.

Also there was a spoiler that says he found some coin in his burnt out hut, which belongs to the Mauryan dynasty. So he believes its an insider job.

he will join the army right away, as its the only way that will lead to the Khorasan kholasa!

Which leads me to think that there will be an impending battle between him and siyamak 😭 They haven't shown much in the Ashoka-Siyamak angle after Siyamak lost, which sucks. I was hoping Siyamak would break away from the Khorasani blood.

Also, that Dhruv kid is cute. I wonder why he isn't in line for the throne, since Siyamak seems to be a few years older than Dhruv (looking beyond the fact that Dhruv hasn't started Gurukul yet, but then again nothing's wrong with Bindusar so there isn't an urge to crown anyone prince regent). Dhruv's mom is also the nicest of all Bindusar's queens (not including Subhadrangi).

I also wonder what Subrasi would think of Subhadrangi when she finds out the truth. It's clear what Noor and Charu will do/think, but Subrasi seems to be the nicest one, as reflected by her kid. Siyamak is nice, but the kid is too confused. And Sushim reflects excellently on his mother's nature.
