Reason:

Finds a bunch of lac on the ground. Concludes that the palace is going to burn down. Overhears that all the Mauryans are gonna be in the palace for the wedding. Changes conclusion that something big and bad is gonna take place. He solved the mystery and then he changed his mind and made it more vague.

Dharma, on the other hand, is using her brains to skip and dodge the Khorasani losers. She came back to the palace because she wanted a challenge.

My conclusion - Ashok got his smarts from Dharma, but unfortunately his brain power is inflicted by Bindu's confusion.

PS - my justification for why Dharma is smarter is because she is being played by Pallavi Subhash. No other reason 🤣
