Ashoka is failing big time for me. What is with CVs of historical serials? Why are they so obsessed with negativity? Why do they always want to show that sickness manipulations viciousness always wins and goodness fails? Ashoka currently has young Ashoka and many children might be watching. Is this the message they want to send? That hard work has no meaning, lies, cheating is the way to win?
Negativity & obsession with vamp destroyed JA - (a disclaimer I am not comparing the 2 serials just want to point out the negativity in both) the story of Akbar's and Jodha's life should be one of positivity of triumph but JA CVs sick negativity destroyed it.
Ashoka is going on the same path. I am SICK SICK SICK of watching Sushim cheat lie murder his way to glory & everybody praising & his hogging screen space (nothing against the actor playing the role - I frankly don't know who he is and don't care!) but I did not sign up to watch Ashoka to instead get Sushim Indrajit Ahankara! 😡 Every one of these characters make me feel disgusted.
Ashoka the Great - Akbar the Great - CVs are destroying their positive triumphant lives with their NR and obsession for vamps & villains.
Not even for watching Sid I want to watch this negativity.
Watching historical - one either expects authenticity or depiction of their triumphant lives. Ashoka was NEVER apart from his father, Bindusaar unaware of him - ENOUGH with the NR.
Ashoka is produced on such lavish scale no cost spared for grand sets, costumes, actors - PITY the PH would not spend for better writers! Wonder if they want to cause misery to viewers or entertain them.
Almost on the verge of giving up Ashoka - what a waste of all that money & TRPs if at the end of 1/2 hour viewing all viewers feel is negative and dejected.
