I think he is the person in Sood house who readily admits his mistakes. Like when he did not send contract to the client, he came up to DS and said sorry and agreed that he made a mistake and he wants to learn from it. And then he told the truth to his family that he is the culprit.. whatever be the circumstances or reasons, he does not shy away from admitting his mistakes...

I think you have pointed out that we should label it as "weaknesses". Yes, he is finding it difficult to handle his weaknesses and the way he was treated has made him feel that he cannot do anything correct. And that is a very big let down as far as his confidence is related. He is a victim of low-esteem and low confidence. He only believes that he is bad and cannot do anything what Sid can do. This comparison has led him to this condition. Yes he blurted out truth and truth is that he made grave mistakes...That was not weakness but mistakes and he admitted them.
