Hi guys! First of all let me introduce myself I'm a big Kis desh, Premeer fan n my recent craze is Star One's Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. I dont watch CCBM regularly but I saw few videos last nite concerning Viren. I like him n his character has many shades of grey. Kinshuk as Viren is doing an awesome job. I couldnt resist from giving my POV on Viren's character. His character requires a detailed analysis and since I have studied sociology, psychology and I'm currently studying creativity and idea development so I can understand the circumstances and behaviour of Viren. These courses are very helpful. Before going ahead on Viren I have a word of advice for you all. Plz do watch Edward De Bono's lecture on 6 thinking hats. He is a well known person and has come up with this "6 thinking hats method" Its a thinking tool and is very useful. Videos are available on youtube.
Coming to Viren, few points which I think are relating to him are as follows:
Never admits mistakes
Jealousy factor arose bcos of Comparison
Hurts others bcos he is hurt
Highly sensitive and takes everything to heart
He has negative thinking. Negativity is natural and every person has it within but few are able to overcome and few are not. He has negative thinking so he looks upon with a negative approach. When you develop value sensitivity you attract values from a distance and when you have negative thinking you attract negativity
Intelligence is potential and Viren has the potential hence he is not stupid or silly but a sharp person. Thinking is a skill and Viren's skill is negative. Example is a car in which engine is the potential and driver is the skill. Both potential and skill are important
He is labelled as a Bad Guy and Nalayak
He can never admit mistakes bcos he is a weak person and he blames others (ppl and situations)
His behaviour was different infact he is a different person but he was never understood
Seeks attention with a negative approach bcos in a way he was neglected but not purposely
Now I will explain situations and prove the above points.
Kite scene: He doesnt knows how to do it (when Sid and Nivi said Viren dheel do) but doesnt admits, is not able to confess his inability. He takes everything to heart and misunderstoods that Sid is angry with him. He gets very angry when Sid and Nivi are not there so he tears out kite and blames it instead of himself. He couldnt go to Sid and give him kite or say sorry to him.
Never admits mistakes nor Improves them
School scene: Students Compare Viren with Sid and label him as Nalayak. Sid tries to make him win but Viren is not able to see his kind act or listen to his sweet words bcos he has negative thinking and is a negative person. One has to develop positivity as it is not natural.
He got angry and pushed a boy ( Negative act)
DS scolds Viren for his mistakes and didnt make him realize the mistakes. Also compares him with Sid which made Viren angry. Viren was never given a chance to say anything and plus he is an introvert.
Viren was shaking when giving book to DS bcos he cant admit mistakes as he dont realize them but is scared of mistakes. He is again labeled as nalayak and is compared with Sid. He hates this comparison and bcos of this comparison he hates Sid. He is jealous of Sid bcos he is compared with him. He hates DS bcos he points out mistakes but dont make him realize or improve them.
Viren thinks nobody cares about his likes/dislikes, this was neglection as he was not given what he wanted to eat. DS thought of bringing him to right path but his way was wrong as he was being strict. His strictness is not wrong but considering the kind of person Viren is, for such a person and behaviour DS's way was wrong. Viren compared himself with Sid when aimed at apple for Nivi. He also believed that he couldnt do it. In a problem again and this time DS decides to sent him to hostel which was very wrong.
Viren is higly weak and emotional. He didnt want to go so he became quiet, lonely and only observed ppl. He feared from being happy. He became isolated and ppl thought he is quiet and afraid. He negatively thought that ppl will not listen or believe him. No1 came to meet him and this was neglection. So he decided never to meet any1.
He desires for love, care and concern. He has stayed alone and now wants to stay alone.
DS praises Nivi and calls Viren Nalayak hence it forces Viren to speak out the truth. Mom showers love, says sorry, asks for 2nd chance and doesnt forces him so Viren understands and listens to her. His mom encourages his negative thinking. Viren has taken this negative thinking trait from his mom. His mom is negative when says that they didnt got anything. Mom encourages him and not showing right path.
DS is right when says "as you sow, so shall you reep" He indirectly points out at Viren's parents especially his mom bcos he knows that negative thinking trait is genetically transferred from mother to son.
Viren couldnt hide his crimes so he thinks again in a negative way that he cannot do anything right.
Nivi is right when says that Viren desires for love, attention. Circumstances make a person bad but by birth a person is not good or bad. A person may have done few good and wrong deeds but he should not be labeled as a bad person. Unfortunately he is bcos deeds, acts reflects what kind of person you are. Nivi is again right that Viren could do bad to a gr8 extent but he didnt bcos deep inside he is good at heart.
One should not try to change a person but should focus only on the behaviour. His particular behaviour might be wrong but he as a person is not wrong or bad. You cannot change a person so you should only try to change his behaviour.
Viren-Nivi: Viren could understand Nivi and her problems bcos she was weak and emotional like him. She was senstitive and hurt like Viren so he helped her out. He loves her a lot and till now he does bcos he saved her in pub from that guy. He had tears when told her to leave. He cares for her but will never admit it. He cannot handle emotions and cant balance them. He is ultra sensitive and emotionally weak person. But both Viren and Nivi can be each others' strengths. They can fight against the world for each other. One can expect a strong bonding between Viren and Nivi in days ahead.
Conclusion: This is an eyeopener for ppl who are highly emotional, weak who are mislead somehow. There is more to what an eye can see. One shouldnt solely blame DS or Viren. I think DS, Viren and the circumstances must be equally blamed. Right now its time to understand a character like Viren and bring him back on right path. One should not point out mistakes so lets forget who did what instead we should understand Viren, his confusions and reasons behind his actions. He is weak and he needs support of his fans. I'm not his fan but I like his character a lot and if I can understand him why not you? Have a heart!
