If Sid has to choose between Viren and Nivi he will choose Nivi and moreover Nivi was not at fault and she wouldn't been able to say anything against Viren. I think it is good that this happen and Viren actually vented his feelings and anger in words and now he can see life in mor calmer way to realize what he lost due to his stupidity.

Ditto..........I ,too, saw the silver lining whatever happend today. Even if it was Sid's provocation or bad timing, it worked in everyone's favor. Now everyone knows.

just two cents, if it seems applicable: Reasons for provoking./
It was necessary for Viren to blurt out the truth and blast these persons who he thinks responsible for thinking "he is useless". Viren has been carrying this burden inside and he needed to speak out, and that to to DS and the whole family about the injustice he feels. And DS and the whole family needs to hear what mistake they did in sending away the child! They needed to know the mark left in Viren. Viren needed to speak out and the family needed to hear, then only a solution would come out. The soltuion initially is very much what is expected, that DS would punish him.
I am sure Siddharth will be the one to talk to DS and make him understand that what DS did long time back, he is repeating the same now. He will suggest to DS not to punish Viren, but to soften towards Viren and see the result for himself this time.
Sid's character is one, where it is very easy to find faults, but if one reflects his actions, a lot more can be deduced. This I can say from my own experience as I was once a Sid basher myself.😆
anwyays, good luck with CCBM. I am quitting this show, because I cant see a person like DS, whose character I have seen from before, being reduced to a villain. This is the worst that RS could have done! He had lot of other ways to gain sympathy for Viren.
I am also sorry for Kinshuk, because after this his character Viren, will be just reduced to someone, a weakling and being overprotected by Nivedita and Siddharth. The characters Siddharth and Nivedita, though not romantically involved, will be the two goody goody characters projected by CTs.

I know the truth needed to come out, but the CTs made it seem so silly with Sid provoking Viren after knowing EVERYTHING. Someone else should have stopped Viren and questioned what happened. Sid doing it was silly.

Sid KNEW the pain Viren has gone through. It makes no sense for him to support Nivi over Viren in this point. Whatever Viren said, Nivi could have handled it. That was between a pati and a patni.

But this made matters worse! Sid could have confronted Viren later and brought it out. Confrontation right at that moment was not the right time.

The state of mind Viren is right now, he may not understand that easily specially when it is coming from Sid. It's a long process of healing, believing and understanding between two bros which might come late, mayber. I think Sid did , intentionally -unintetionally, so that Viren pour his heart out infront of everyone and he did. Just my 2 cents.

tried to explain (though in vain), why Sid made Viren speak out! Just look at the consequence! Viren could place his part and everyone in the family knew!
Sid is only person who understood the timing: that today is the day Viren needed to speak and everyone needed to hear and DS had to make the same mistake. Everyone thought of immediate gain how to suppress the storm, but one word from Sid, actually let Viren speak his heart out, the burden he had been carrying from his childhood.
I am pretty sure tomorrow Sid or someone else will talk to DS, that he should repeat his same action again. This time, he should try his softness to see what results it will bring for Viren! DS will agree to it.

Kanchhi,

I'm just dumbfounded that Sid would do it--intentionally or unintentionally. Yes everyone had a right to know what Viren was thinking and it needed to come out, but I had hoped that after knowing his brother's pain, he wouldn't provoke him. If Viren can go to the level of taking revenge then obviously he's not going to pour out his feelings in a "gentle" manner. Now DS has blamed him and called nalayak which is like pouring salt on an open wound. Viren needs confrontation, yes, but right now was not the time. Right now he needed some time to cool off a bit and then a confrontation would have been appropriate.

But it didn't do anything good for viren naa? BS asked him to leave house? Does sid actually wanted that?
I know healing viren's hatred won't b done in one day.... But he could have tried it....

I know that Sid/Nivi will fix things with DS and Viren. I'm just saying, the way Sid yelled at Viren and provoked him was not right.
