Agree that Viren's outburst and confession in front of DS and family was critical to the story and its unfolding. Letting the dam burst in front of all was key and the ensuing catharsis essential to any redemption and healing. That it was Viren who spoke and engaged DS directly was crucial. I feel it couldn't be authentic any other way. It recreated the past in the present moment -- complete with the hurt, the humiliation, the anger, the rejection and the response -- DS's verdict (whatever we may think of it -- this is how it was in the past and this is how it is now). It is now all in the open, before all to see - and without any intermediaries or interpretation and editing. Perhaps healing can now begin.

However, I had half hoped that CC and/or YD would be shocked into saying (privately or publicly) that this is not all true -- that the fire, saree and some other incidents were their doing...so why is Viren taking responsibility for everything...but that is not to be unfortunately. Still can't believe that Viren would be behind the fire incident.

Siddharth may be a successful Businessman. But the Problem is he does not have any idea what to say or do at the right time/ right place. See what he did to Nivi when she needed his support more than once. Also during Mooh Dikhayi he again spoiled things for her when he should have kept quiet instead... This time too he should have kept silent and sorted thing out in private with Viren... But he did not. He did it not to take advantage of the situation but because he did not have any idea how to handle the situation properly.

When Nivi needed him to stand up for her, he didn't. He didn't protect her then. He left her to be insulted and humiliated along with her family.

I think Sid needs to focus on the girl he took his saat pheres with. He needs to work on his marriage now. That should be the top priority for him.
