So today the contestants are recreating something thatโs their strength with a new technique.
1. Faisu - ghevar and charcoal. I think his idea of making a savoury dish is interesting. Heโs making a chicken mousse with ghevar. It may sound strange to many, but to me itโs an interesting concept. Looking forward to it.
2. Nikki got chicken and dehydration - sheโs making some Khandeshi style chicken and making sabudana papad. I donโt see any innovation at all. Oh and sheโs making thecha as well.
3. Gaurav got blueberry cheesecake and a siphon gun. Donโt know why he said he hasnโt used a siphon gun, when all of them used it during Chef Manu Chandraโs challenge. Heโs making a blueberry cheesecake foam and heโs also making a beetroot shard using dehydration.
4. Rajiv got mohanthal and frosting. Heโs making a three tiered cake and mohanthal will be one of the fillings. I just think it sounds very heavy. Hoping he pulls it off well.
5. Tejaswi got dried shrimps and emulsification. Sheโs never used dried shrimps, so she has a rough challenge. Sheโs making pithla, bhakri, pickled onions, and some prawns with dried shrimp coating.
