With Shah Rukh and Farah Khan around, it's always party time for E Niwas's actors

Recently, Shah Rukh Khan lunched with cast members of E Niwas's film when the two units were shooting next to each other at Film City. SRK was shooting for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om.

Needless to say, newcomer Nikhil Dwivedi and actress Amrita Rao were delighted to share a meal with SRK in his vanity van.

A source from the Om Shanti Om unit says, "When Farah discovered that E Niwas was shooting next door, she went over and invited them for lunch on behalf of Shah Rukh. What's more, she gave unit food a miss and called for food from a hotel instead."

Shah Rukh waited for the cast members from E Niwas's My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves to break for lunch and together they had a great time, laughing and talking over a well-arranged spread of food. "Shah Rukh, Farah Shreyas Talpade, Deepika, Arjun Rampal, E Niwas, NIkhil Dwivedi and Amrita Rao sat down to eat together," says our source.

Deepika and Amrita, who are rumoured to be working together in Ranbir's next, faced each other for the first time. Adds the source, "Farah and SRK were happy to host Amrita and talked about their Main Hoon Na days. Amrita, on her part exchanged pleasantries with SRK's assistants from their Main Hoon Na unit. SRK personally escorted E Niwas's unit along with Farah to the sets of Om Shanti Om. And like a true gentleman, SRK came out to see off Amrita."

Shirish is back even after the debacle of Jaan-e-Maan. According to the grapevine Shahrukh Khan will produce and star in his next directorial venture, which will have a whopping budget of Rs 1 Billion or 100 Crores! Sounds more than fiction that fact but stranger things have happened in showbiz.The movie will have a sci-fi vibe to it and will have breath-taking special effects.

"The treatment of visual effects is a very integral part of the film. It will have to be planned entirely before the film goes on the floors. Even after the shooting, the film will require one year for the visual effects to be worked on," said the source.

Shah Rukh Khan's painting in London

After Salman Khan the painting bug seems to have bitten Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan .

SRK and India's greatest contemporary artist M F Husain will together create a painting in a 'live' effort. The painting will then be auctioned by Bonhams of London on the spot.

SRK will soon be headed to London to contribute his artistic skill to a painting to be created jointly with Husain. This event will take place on June 7, 2007.

The King Khan will join wife Gauri – who is a well-known art collector – and children Aryaan and Suhana in London.

The joint painting with Husain will be a 'live' effort and will be auctioned by Bonhams of London on the spot and many other joint artist-celebrity paintings will also go under the hammer at this auction.

Anjana Kuthiala, the artist who has painted many portraits of SRK, says that collaborative art pieces have become a big trend today. Her own painting called 'SRK and the flowering tree' has contributions from celebrities including Sonu Nigam and SRK's mother-in-law Savita Chibber.

This painting will be auctioned in New York later this year to coincide with the India economic summit in which speakers like V S Naipaul, Vijay Mallya, Ram Jethmalani and Praful Patel will participate.
