@Riti - you already know which song I thought was for ASR since I put it in my last post in the forum for him. I am in agreement with you - Abhi mujhe mein kahin. I also thought Tum Ho from Rockstar was a good choice. And for their consummation I wanted O Saiyyan from Agneepath so badly, I wrote about for 6 months in the AT 😆... and then ended up with Saiyyan from Kailesh Kher which is a good song too. Kher's Teri Deewani would have fit angry ASR.
I had absolutely no problem with hut romance. Prior to that, they had a soul sinking hug, rabba ve among the boxes behind the gunman and how they felt for each other was mutually understood. Their time in the farmhouse was the same, people just succumb to a moment and when they very clearly loved each other, it was not wrong to me.
What I didn't like is that the screenplay pretended like that encounter never happened.
The only person who remembered the Holi confession was ASR. So it fit that he was the one having the difficulty in sorting out his feelings - because he knew what he felt and what he said. But Khushi still thought he didn't care, up until he confessed - which in was bizarro to me. And that she didn't understand why she couldn't let him go at the airport another bizarro moment for me...because she was 23 years old. 😳
I wish they had concentrated on Khushi's side of the story as well. We saw the arc and progress of ASR, but Kh remained pretty much the same. She was supposed to become more of a woman and if I look back at the Kh who smeared lipstick on her face, the one in Nov of 2011, was much more mature. But then again, ASR of Nov 2011 was a stronger character too.
