@Anna - OMG old themes back again. How many times did we lament that no one loved that man for who he was but what they could make him. But I still think, Nani did not want to forcefully change her pota, she was only as stubborn in her views as he was.

Not a single family member said a damn thing about the kidnap. Ridiculous writing.

He was always alone I thought.

@Indi - the birthday is when I stopped watching the show as I could not stomach it. As I said after reading the live update -

ASR to Khushi - We will celebrate my birthday the way that you want, even if I don't like it and goes against my wishes and we will celebrate your birthday the way that you want, even if it is something I hate. And I will say sorry in every other sentence. Dikrafication complete.

asr making jalebi. cutely. one scene i couldn't bring myself to watch. i loved him as he was, as i found him that first day, and by day four at the mazar, my fate was sealed. had nothing changed about him, had he never fallen in love and connected with his emotions, evolved, even then i'd have felt the thrill of asr. enough of this good woman coming and changing a man, showing him the right path. it's unreal and guess what i have no desire to be that woman. and please, khushi was a complete brat on her birthday. thing is, had they been willing to show her as a human being and not sp nari, it might have been understandable up to a point, given the fight over di's abortion attempt and return of contract. but that mean eyes closed thing when he wished her, gnnngnnn.

a spectacular character asr, dikrafy him all you want, he still ascends all and stays exactly as he is in t my mind. teehee. barun sobti deserves one of each of those best male lead awards that are being given away everywhere. oscars, golden globe, everything included. writing gave a structure, an idea, a launching pad, barun really flew with it and ended up creating a man called asr.

@Indi - secret...I never watched jalebi making epi...only read update. We accepted ASR the human being with flaws and I guess I didn't understand why the woman who preached unconditional love acted like the man who turned his world on its head to give her a wedding and got over a brutal past wasn't 'made for her' just yet...alterations kareka padi. I didn't get Khushi the brat. It was a total regression in her character sketch.

Jalebi making and all other subsequent fiascos were all watchable only and only because of Barun..

Expecting a Happy Birthday from your wife and not getting it and still ending up saying Sorry. 😡..Yes Khushi behaved like a brat when it came to ASR and for all others she was a Mahan.
