

The name Rajeev Khandelwal needs no introduction to his innumerable fans, as countless hearts have been given away to him.
The actor who has captured everyone's attention through his empathizing acting, had initially no plans to be an actor. Following the paths of his father and elder brother, he wanted to join the Indian Army. But his form got misplaced and he thought of going after what he likes to do.
Rajeev started to make documentaries and came to Mumbai for the same. But destiny made him face the camera instead, as he modeled for a few brands.
Acting happened to him when he auditioned for Balaji Telefilms and got selected.
Rajeev played the character of Raj Karmarkar in the inaugural series of Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat. And he did complete justice to this negative role.

For Rajeev, life took a turn with Kahin To Hoga where he played the arrogant businessman & passionate lover Sujal Garewal. The character was immensely popular throughout the nation and it still reins many hearts!!

After being associated with the show for almost 2 years (September 8-May 15), Rajeev left Kahin To Hoga at the zenith of popularity!!
Rajeev's decision made many eyes roll, but the actor stood firm. He came back as RAW officer Varun Awasthi in Zee TV's action based show Time Bomb 9/11. It was a show with 24 episodes.

Rajeev did a Pakistani drama series Sun Ley Na where he played an ardent lover Sharim Aziz.

Rajeev then charmed his viewers as ACP Prithviraj Chauhan in Sony TV's popular weekly CID. It was a cameo role of five episodes which didn't fail to earn him an award!!

Meanwhile Rajeev featured in a music video Jhoom Jhoom by Siaru Maini.

And then the actor tried his hand in anchoring as he hosted the 3rd season of Deal Ya No Deal on Sony TV. He was awarded the Most Stylish Anchor of TV for the same.

On July 10, 2006 Rajeev came on screen as Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat in SAB TV's Army based youth show Left Right Left. The character again went on to become highly popular as many still revive the charming Captain Rajveer!!

On August 20, 2007 Rajeev left LRL to pursue films and so on June 6, 2008 his fans saw him as the vulnerable Dr. Aamir Ali in his debut movie Aamir. The film was a hit and he was nominated for Best Debut Actor in that year's award ceremonies.

When everyone thought Rajeev has exited from small screen, the actor came back to TV again as the host of controversial show Sach Ka Saamna. The show was a hit gaining the highest TRPs for any reality show at that time and Rajeev was bestowed with awards & appreciation for playing the perfect host!!

On personal front Rajeev got married to Manjiri Kamtikar on 7th Feb, 2011 at Khimsar Fort of Jodhpur!!
