I'm not into explicit scenes that much. I'm more into emotional connections, meaningful conversations, memorable and thought provoking dialogues.

If you like love stories of vampires and vampire-hunters, you can watch a Netflix series named First Kill. It's a lesbian romance. It's based on Victoria Schwab's short story. The show was inspired by Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. In fact, the vampire girl's name was similar to the name, Juliet in the show. I like Victoria Schwab's writing style. She's a popular author and wrote many books such as Monsters of Verity duology (This Savage Song and Our Dark Duet), The Shades of Magic series (A Darker Shade of Magic, A Gathering of Shadows and A Conjuring of Light), The invisible Life of Abbie LaRue. I read her book, City of Ghosts and really liked it.

Thank you for the recommendations! I can use this for Pride Prose readings too smiley36

And yeah, I’ll try my best to suggest books that don’t have any open door /explicit scenes.

Yes, you can read First Kill for June's reading challenge. You'll find First Kill in a book named Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite. But the problem is that it's a short story and it won't contribute to your total word count of June much.
