Last season I went into it without having reading the books - this season though i'm all nerded up and have read the whole story, so its already proving to be a different experience watching ep 1 of season 2.

Interesting that you say that about Davos, I loved the onion knight in the books and I think I imagined him to be far more timid looking than the actor portraying him. Acting wise though, he did a fine job. I am quite excited to see Brienne of Tarth! That whole side plot is going to be so fun.
