Hey Book Talk Buddies 😊
So my goal is to become very actice here and get to know you all, and become friends with everyone here!
Instead of reading all those teen books, i have started reading classics. Yes, Classics! I am currently reading Pride and Prejudice. I'm sure you all have been throught the 'what is this old english saying' phrase. I'm on chapter 3 right now, and KINDAAA confused. Is the whole book about trying to get one of the daughters married to the Bingley guy? Its kinda confusing 😕
I'm sure almost everyone has read Pride and Prejudice on this forum!
Did you all like it!?
- Shivani 😃

Pride and Prejudice was the first romantic novel I read. I was 12 then, that is a year and half back. YES - I started with a classic that has such old and fine English in it. 🤣

I've read P&P four times, I'm reading it for the fourth time now along with another book. And I'll tell ya what, once you're done with it, the conclusion you'd draw would be Wow! Beautiful, I would read this again. 😃

And no - it is not exactly about getting one of the Bennet sisters married to Bingley. Initially, it is so but as the story shapes up ahead, it's entirely about Elizabeth's journey and how she misunderstands Bingley's friend, Mr. Darcy who ardently loves her. That's why it's named Pride and Prejudice, you know? 😆

One more thing, I worship Ms. Austen and her works. I am certain you'd like it. 😳

I loved da way Mrs.Bennet showed concerned for her daughters ..😆😆😆.. it was annoying for the Bennet sisters but they cant do much about it ..
