Failure shakes me up

Saif Ali Khan has vowed to hit the gym harder, thanks to the failure of his last two films. He has realised that he needs to pull up his socks. He says, Yes I amm going to work harder on my physique. I need to be more sharp and alert. Not because I need to, but because I like to push myself harder. Though I am happy with my weight I want to be leaner and more muscular. Saif Ali Khan
In Imtiaz's film Saif plays a regular nice guy. Looking lean and muscular isn't the issue in this film. But I?m in a visual medium. And the leading man has to look like a leading man. I am trying to keep that in mind.
Though he doesn't say it in so many words, the failure of his last two films has made Saif more professional at work
I tend to get complacent when everything is going well. Failure shakes me up. I need that. People keep asking about how I like working with Deepika in Imtiaz's film. But I've enjoyed working with her as much as I have with any other leading lady. Right now I'm more concerned about the fact that my last two films haven't worked well, rather than who my leading lady is.
Rubbishing rumours that he has been uncomfortable working with Deepika Padukone on his first home-production, Saif says, I really haven't spoken to her that much. But from what I know of her, she's conscientious, professional and focussed on her work.She is very serious about her goals in life and seems to know how to get there. Imtiaz seems to enjoy directing her. But I guess, somewhere I miss Kareena in this film.?
Kareena, incidentally, is doing another film with Imtiaz Ali, opposite Akshay Kumar. Says Saif.Kareena is Imtiaz's favourite. Imtiaz is one of the best directors I've worked with, very committed.
