 Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe back in the year 2000 and although the gorgeous beauty's popularity has been growing in Bollywood ever since, it's nice to know that she's still actively involved with the United Nations.The ex-Miss Universe continues to work with many different charities that promote HIV/ AIDS awareness. She also supports Female Reproductive Rights and has worked with the United Nations on their Missing Programme, which deals with India's declining population ratio. It's indeed nice to see Lara using her beauty not just to light up the silver screen, but to bring about positive changes in society as well. A true Miss Universe, Lara is indeed the perfect combination of beauty, brains and heart. And, this one calls for a huge round of applause! |
