I have seen Lovestory and can say that Harman has great screen presence, he starts off a new comer with a few raw edges in the movie and when the credits roll you know hes a born star. He reminded me of SRK when he first started out in films, and as for the Hrithik hangover that very critic claims he has, by the end of the movie me and my friends saw him as Harman not Hrithik clone. So hats off to Hamran for that BUT he will need to work hard on his looks in his next film Victory with Amrita for sure !!!!!

shazu well said even in promos he does not come across like hiritik but what can you expect from indian media that half of the times publishees rumours like its the truth ..as for looks definetly but my view is all newcomers look rough par few for some reason its only after a while they glam up.

To clarify :-


1. Indians as in both the aam janta and the media love development. If we were to invent a different kind of safety pin, ppl would go ga-ga as if it's the greatest invention since sliced bread.


2. We are not 'denying a man's imagination' (whatever that means) … in fact its just the opposite. The film is being panned by all because it has NO imagination. The future shown is a complete rip-off from half a dozen hollywood films. There is literally zero creativity. Also, its not as if Indian technicians worked on creating those effects so we can't even say – ok, so it's a copy but at least we have successfully recreated what is till now the specialty of the west.


3. You do not know if harman is a humble and down to earth person. Newsflash- he is an actor! They can act even in their interviews. But most importantly just bec he might be a good person it doesn't make him automatically a great actor.


4. He does copy hrithik. His looks he cannot obviously help. To quote a blogger - he also he walks like him, talks like him, stands like him, sits like him, stares like him, has got his sideburns like him. There is only one difference though, if you cared to notice. He cannot act like Hrithik.



OOF! I just realised that I'm ranting away for no apparent reason….. Its just that I got irritated with the whole India comment. …. Why do we always drag India into everything ? and that too for no apparent reason …. Lets just restrict our comments to movies only…
