As for his 'resemblance' with Hrithik...... every single review suggests tht the guy not only spent all teh effort trying to look like Hrithik...but even dance, fight and talk lik hrithik.....the only thing he probably didnt do was stick an extra thumb onto his hand!!! Neil Nitin Mukesh resembles Hrithik as well but no one has ever accsued him of copying Hrithik coz Neil is original.

And why would the media put down Harman if he's good??? And why would they make out Imran to be good jsut coz he's a 'Khan'....there r a lot of non-Khan actors who r successful in this industry n get good reviews. And forget the reviewers, even the audience is rejecting LS2050 coz the movie has stupid plot.....

Yes, JTYJN is a usual chick flick but it never claimed to be out of this world.....it's just meant to be light-hearted cinema and it delivered in tht sense. Imran is getting praised coz he's good in the movie....Imran may not have Harman's biceps n dancing skills but he's got much better comic timing n has proved a more natural actor in his first movie.

LS2050 has a terrible storyline n some horrible directing and thts why the movie is getting bad reviews.....just coz u envision making a sci-fi futurisitc movie and pump in unnecessary crores it doesnt make u an experimental film-maker.....Have a good storyline to begin with and then u make a good movie. The Bawejas thought spending all the money on SFX would allow them to sail thru' but I suppose they forgot u need a sensile story to start off with---not a cocktail of back to the future, I Robot and some desi reincarantion!

Harman sure has the potential esp if Ashutosh has signed him on......he jsut needs to find his own identity n stop being a hrithik-ape....besides, Harry Baweja is pathetic director----most of his movies r disasters.....maybe he'll be better off in Ashutosh's capable hands.....

now let me talk abt the topic whether harman is good or bad!

first of all! ,sneha i find yu amongst the most sensible and mature members out here and u hav been like that since idol 2 days😃

now i completely agree with this writing here!!!the bold part is absolutely perfect.. i mean dnt tell me if some1 luks like some one!! fine a person can hav strking resemblance with another person .. bt how cum that person hv same voice quality , same way he dances , same way he walks and talks and moves??? even the twins dnt hav same voice or neither do they hav same way of carrying themselves off!!

mano ya na mano , this guy copies hrithik intentionally or non intentionally..and believe me never in world history copycats ever succeeded..

now the point cums whether he is good or bad! he is good luking and since he got good projects , he must b good actor too.. bt the main point remains the same .. if he chooses to b the second hrithik sorry to say he wil never make it to the top. he hs to harman baweja .. and for that he needs to work hard!

Very true. One doesn't always have to have a completely novel/newfangled story line. A writer can take the most cliched and done to death story line and give it a whiole new meaning by executing it in a different way. Jab We Met, anyone?

Jab We Met had the age old boy meets girl premise, yet it was handled so differently and refreshingly. Ditto with JTYJN.

People might condesceond upon these "typical" stories, but sometimes, people do want to watch a simple, light, breezy movie and it is not only the desis.

Now, the whining has begun...UGH, these star kids, I tell you...They think everyone should lap up their rubbish and sing praises. if they can't stand the heat, get out of the bloody kitchen...Well, welcome to Bollywood, Harman!

Maybe the reviewers could be bribed to trash the film, but even the trade reports say that JTYJN has taken a better opening. Or are the Bawejas trying to shove it down our throats that even those reports are doctored?

It's sabotage!

Mumbai:

Harry and Harman Baweja have been breathing fire for the last three days ever since Love Story 2050 released along with Aamir Khan's Jaane Tu... starring his nephew Imran Khan.

Says a source close to Harman, "Harman has gone through a lot in the last few days but he is not shattered. He has got a thumbs up from B-Town folk who have said a star is born or that he is a lambi race ka ghoda. But Harman feels that there is a deliberate attempt to sabotage his film by running it down. Harman and Harry feel there is a gameplan at work to prove that their film is a flop."

The source adds, "Some people are even spreading a buzz that Anees Bazmee, who is directing Harman in his untitled next, produced by Sanjay Kapoor, wants him out. When Anees heard it, he called up Harman and told him, 'I have enquired with distributors the audiences have loved you and so have my kids. There is no denying that next year you will be one of the big stars. Don't worry, you have already won over the audience."

Harry Baweja says, "Our collections are improving but it's very disheartening that some people are trying to run the film down.

They are purposely trying to do so but I don't know who is behind this. It's sabotage, yes the film may be okay but it's not so bad. What others are doing to damage Love Story's prospects is below the belt. the strategies they're adopting are very unfair.

It's not run-of-the-mill. I think I have attempted to do something different. My film has Oscar award-winning technicians who have liked the film."

Not taking names

Does he think Aamir Khan is behind the sabotage? "I don't want to get into it but kuch logon ko Harman aur humse kuch pareshani hai.

But I am happy with the collections. They are saying a star is born a complete hero who can emote, do action, dance and do everything that is expected from a hero. I have achieved half of what I wanted to establish my son as a star the second half will be achieved after two weeks when the audiences' verdict will come out in the BO collections."

^^Oh god!!! The Bawejas, I think, r in a state of shock. I jsut dont understand this whole sabotage business......as if Aamir Khan or whoever bribed the entire Indian junta, the reviewers and the tarde analysts to bring down Harman!

Just coz u have Oscar-'winning technicians it doesnt mean u have a great film....as if having good technicians is a substitute for a good script! Besides, JTYJN has a Oscar-nominated production house backing it ;-)

And u knw wht, harman's attitude is exactly wht is in his way of making it big....the guy is so freaking egoistic he doesnt even admit he's a poor copy and now tht his movie is not doing well his family's suggessting tht some1 is trying to sabotage him....coz there's no way a "STAR who can fight, dance etc" like him cant be liked by the audience! The first route to success is always recognising where u've gone wrong (which is one reason why Abhishek finally found his groove) and the Bawejas just refuse to admit tht they had a screwed up storyline!

Like Joie (And thanks for agreeing previuosly.....I suppose great minds think alike!!) just said: some of these new kids think tht they r born to be stars and it's the everyone's job to love them irrespective of how good/bad they r!

And, although it is amazing when something novel is made entertaining, u dont ALWAYS need something novel or out of the box.....Movies r meant for entertainment and JTYJN succeded coz it entertained the audience. JTYJN is condescening fluff as pointed out b4 and there's not much experimental stuff u can do with the genre.

@touchthesky: I am sorry but I dont know ur name (and Im really bad at rem the ones I do knw!!) but thanks for agreeing 😊 😊 and pointing out that u dont need to bring down Imran (who proved himself to be a satisfactory in his first movie) to put up Harman.

Wht I find strange is tht every1's defence for Harman is that 'oh, he's good and humble human being'!! How does it freaking matter if he's good person or not....how many great actors we know r the best human beings around??
can some1 pls explain the conenction b/w 'good human being' and 'good actor' to me ?

Harman is not bad at all..the critics r criticizing him and his film too much..I have not watched the film yet but I have seen the promos..I dont find there a Hrithik's copy in the film, but Harman..Its because he is very humble and down-to-earth ppl r criticizing him..Its not his fault that his looks resemble Hrithik..He is a great actor, dancer and has a great screen presence 👏.. Wish him All the Best for his film 👍🏼

Im sure if he chooses correct scripts, he can be successful in Bollywood 😊

I just watched Love story 2050 and believe it or not I walked out in 25 mins .
Well the reasons
The story of a son acting like a 2 year old , destroying fathers car for some crapy reason,
Son looking at stars and speaking to mom , yaaaaaaaawn , hats of to this new concept which no one has ever potrayed before , 🥱
a guy in audience just jumps in defeats bicycle champs who where practising for months together , 😕
There was someone trying to act talk and dance like hrithik 🤔 .
a stupid chase sequence where the hero is simply running between steps and gosh its so hard for those guys to catch him . Yeah hes the best in evrything .even if he just runs left n right like a kid ! That scene really irked me off .Common couldnt they have put a tougher or atleast average chase sequence .This was so childish n utter crap 😡

Lastly to mention I have no personal fav , harman or imran , just went to have a good time watching a film. But the film needs you to use your kidneys to watch it .
Bollywood please grow up !
