This Independence Day will see the clash of two big films - God Tussi Great Ho starring Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan and Bachna Ae Haseeno which features Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba.
A source from Eros, which is distributing both the films, says, "We are not worried about this clash as both the films have a different audience. God Tussi… is a romantic film but with a comic touch. The scenes between Salman and Amitabh are quite hilarious and will be loved by both the kids and youth. Bachna, on the other hand, is more about romance with the Yash Raj touch. The growing popularity of the Ranbir-Deepika affair will help the film. We are proud to be associated with both the films and are hoping Independence Day will prove beneficial for both."
Rumi Jaffrey, director of God Tussi…, too isn't perturbed. "I'm not at all worried that my film is releasing with a Yash Raj flick. I have done my job meticulously keeping in mind the Indian audiences and I'm confident that the character of Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a funky God and Salman Khan, will manage to win hearts at the box-office."
God Tussi Great Ho's earlier release date was July 11 while Bachna Ae Haseeno was supposed to clash with Drona which has now been postponed to October 2.
