When Shah Rukh Khan started acting in the tele serial, 'Fauji' (1988), India had a reigning superstar in Amitabh Bachchan, a heir apparent in Anil Kapoor and a national heartthrob in Aamir Khan. There was only one vacancy left. That of the challenger. The dimpled boy from Delhi grabbed it. He changed thrones and is now the rightful king of the Bollywood box office. Starting his movie career with 'Dil Aashana Hai', this Khan has been on the rise ever since he did 'Deewana' (1992).
