Shahid Wields The Whip

Success does strange things to people. Look at our Bollywood stars and the kind of tantrums they throw once they deliver a hit. A case in point is believed to be the young Shahid Kapur. The guy who was ditched by Kareena Kapoor, after all did manage to deliver one of the biggest hits of last year, Jab We Met.

With that one success in his pocket, Shahid, an otherwise unspoilt young lad, has taken to throwing his weight around. The man who is taking the brunt of it all is his good friend and director Ken Ghosh. The duo have worked together in Ishq Vishk and Fida are known to be buddies. But according to reports, the actor has been interfering in every department of the film. His suggestions are not just restricted to his own looks and get up, but even that of his co stars. Poor Ken has enough on his hands, what with trying to salvage his film from Shahid's suggestions and trying to think of a better title for his film. Star, which is the working title of the film, has fuelled rumours that Ken's film is based on Eighties film called Star as well, starring Kumar Gaurav as an upcoming singer. On the face of it, there is much that is similar between the old and the new Star. There were reports that Ken may be changing the title of his film, but at the moment it remains Star and is beset by some very starry problems.
