Bollywood will never grow out of sequels, it seems. Each day new sequels are planned, made or shelved without any ado. Nevertheless, the trend seems to be on an all-time high now. The latest flick to enjoy a follow-up will be last year's super hit ha-ha-thon 'Welcome' starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead.

However, the sequel is believed to miss out on Katrina Kaif who has apparently tuned down the offer. Instead of her, the audience can look forward to a welcoming surprise with Deepika Padukone stepping into her shoes. With Akshay Kumar reigning the box-office hits with back-to-back hits and Deepika Padukone listing among the most wanted actress of B-town, it's but obvious that the makers would love to cash in on their popularity now. And Firoz Nadiadwala is no different who is dying to cast the duo on the sequel.
